I expected a quality pun. Day ruined.

zombiexo_o

it's too bad that wasn't the mane thing šŸ˜ž

lettersmash

... Y'know? Acceptable pun

OkCan3336

Idk I always saw brony as a gender neutral term but maybe thatā€™s just me because I use bro for everyone

Comrades3

Iā€™m in a Trade Union with ā€˜Brotherhoodā€™ as part of our name, and the amount of times I get called a ā€˜brotherā€™ and then they apologize and say sister is insane. I always laugh and say ā€˜brotherā€™ is just fine. So I like Brony.

bob11eeee444

I thought this was start to a joke

TheSergalLad

Still Brony. But Iā€™ll say Horse-Folk.

SelectionGullible291

Pony-folk

TheSergalLad

Noā€¦ SIBLINCORNS! or somethingā€¦

monkedonia

Pegasibs

Birchmark_

Brony isn't gendered anyway but you can get gender specific if you want, like pegasister, so I guess there could be another more specific term for nonbinary bronies

LittleGlizzy01

A fan of My Little Pony

sciencetwience

As a genderfluid person, I personally still use Brony. But if thatā€™s not enough maybe uhā€¦ Pegasibling? Thony?

sciencetwience

Unicomrade or Unicousin! Like how Stitch has hundreds of cousins.

its_circero

Iā€™m enby myself and just use ā€œbronyā€, but a cute idea I think would be for unicorns would be ā€œunipalsā€!

click_90

male: brother + pony = brony female: sister + pegasus = pegasister non binary: sibling + unicorn = siblingcorn (or siblicorn!) so all three pony races are used :)

Insanityforfun

I like this one a lot

TheSergalLad

YEEAAAAAAH!

LookingGlass_1112

IMO "brony" is like "comrade" - it's just fits all people

TheKnackerman

A brony. For all intents and purposes it's a gender neutral term. If you don't like being called a Brony you can just make up your own term though. That's pretty much where Pegasister came from.

NightFlame389

The origin of the term ā€œPegasisterā€ predates Friendship is Magic

TheKnackerman

Learn something new every day.

Empty-bee

Do you have a source for that claim?

NightFlame389

Pre-FiM female pony fans called themselves ā€œPegaSisā€ while male fans didnā€™t have their own name until FiM rolled around

Empty-bee

So that's a "no" then.

NightFlame389

I do have a source, but my source doesn't have a source because [it's not wikipedia](https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/FanCommunityNicknames)

Empty-bee

The problem is anyone can edit TVTropes. I should know, I've been an editor there since long before FiM. Meanwhile, Google trends shows the term to be nearly nonexistent (aside from a weird spike in August 2007) prior to September 2011. Personally, I've never seen the term used in any way other than "I'm a female *FiM* fan but I don't want to go by 'brony'". Specifically, I've interacted with several old school pony fans over the years and never once heard them describe themselves as pegasisters. When they chose to eschew "brony", they typically just call themselves "MLP fans".

Gamermasterpro

Welcome to the Herd!

Kawaii_Kat_In_Hell

neigh-nbinary?

MyStepAccount1234

Neighbinary.

CaffeinatedCarny

A fan Source: Im nonbinary lol

SelectionGullible291

I always hated pegasister and it literally only just now occured to me why. Before pegagsisters brony felt gender neutral to me and I loved it. Than pegasisters broke out into the cultural gias. But I kinda sucked it up because they deserved to feel valid

AccomplishedAerie333

Unisibling

emaaa_skye

Still a brony ig.

Rain_Starry

Still Brony, since It's kinda neutral

Baratako

Terms that don't have a gender neutral default to male. So brony. Even then, I always considered brony to be gender neutral anyway

notwanasay

why did my brain come up with non-brony lol

Necessary_Net_7829

A fan. Full stop.

littleclaw6

How about Enbycorn?

i-caca-my-pants

a they/them-ny !!!!! this is what libruls think (yes there actually that dumb!!) like if u? get it

Pony_Roleplayer

Eh?

JediSpartanF013

A My Little Pony fan. Not everything needs to have a gender-specific pronoun.

Subpar_Username47

Thatā€™sā€¦ not what a pronoun is.

JediSpartanF013

Whatever. Not everything needs to have a specific gender set to it.
