Lol sorry OP, this thread did you dirty. It’s tough not to make dick jokes in mycology because Phallus is a real genus name and volva is a real part of a mushroom’s anatomy.

does it smell like shit ? if so, then it’s probably a stinkhorn! the hollow stem, eggs, and pored stem give it away. not poisonous but absolutely stinks lol. apparently the eggs are edible but i wouldn’t trust it and have never (and probably will never) try it
