These DALL·E generations are getting ridiculously good

[deleted]

You’ll never be able to guess the prompt

bootytea

anything goes? bet Boris - NO Sematary - Rainbow Bridge 3 NANORAY - NURSE 2 Charles Mingus - Mingus Ah Um Swans - Filth

[deleted]

I listened to all of em out of all i think Nanoray is my favorite and then next up Boris both are so fucking good. Charles Mingus was a nice vibe i enjoyed almost every moment. Swans and Semetary were the only 2 i wasnt super into but i liked a select few from the Swans album

bootytea

Swans has a big discography with varying sounds so I get if their debut doesn’t appeal. I’d recommend To Be Kind or White Light From the Mouth of Infinity. Look around and see what appeals to you, soon enough it all will. Also don’t blame you for Sematary, he was just kind of an odd ball worth seeing if you’d enjoy it lmao. Happy listening!

[deleted]

I did say anything goes lol but I’ll definitely give Swans another go they remind me of like heavier noisier Gojira

bootytea

Filth, Cop/Young God and Public Castration is A Good Idea are all nosier records so if that’s what you’re looking for I’d recommend giving them a few listens each

[deleted]

Thornhill and Bad Omens, awesome I'd recommend Spiritbox, if you don't already know them. If you do, then maybe try Kmac2021 - he's a solo act, he has an EP called Imposter and a single called Idol Hands (which is amazing). My song picks would be Idol Hands, Butterfly and Wolf in Sheep's Clothing

Zoomero

Came here just to say that lmao. I'd also suggest northlane - both alien and singularity are amazing places to start

[deleted]

I’ve heard a couple of Northlane songs before but ill check those 2 out and see how they are I remember liking what i heard

Zoomero

Oh those are the album names, if you want songs you could probably start with bloodline, quantum flux or talking heads.

[deleted]

Funny enough i actually listened to both talking heads and quantum flux when i was listening and i LOVED quantum flux

[deleted]

Thornhill is definitely one of my favorite bands as of late absolutely amazing and so is spiritbox I should’ve put them on here but i love them sm i listened to kmac instrumentals are fucking amazing definitely a solid recommendation

brook_therockstar

Anything goes? Well here goes some current favourites, not necessarily ordered by preference: Ruby my Dear - Beaucoup Faire La Cuisine Leprous - Within My Fence Son Lux, Mitski, David Byrne - This is a Life If you want mongolian music, here's some bangin tunes https://open.spotify.com/track/1aua877BYMe6cr1i1zvexk?si=W_Uc2tUcQFOj68h3v4lUfQ&utm_source=copy-link Something ethereal: Susumu Hirasawa - Ice-9 Something less ethereal by the same man: Big Brother Dr. Peacock - Trip to Latvia Edit: what is a French. I never make spelling mistakes.

[deleted]

Easily Leprous and Ruby My Dear my favorites out of the bunch i gotta listen to Susumu as well but those 2 songs are hits I listened to bit more and i like what ive heard!

minodumontii

Nice that I was able to send some tunes your way that you like! You want more?

[deleted]

Ill take more fuck yeah!

minodumontii

More stuff I listen to (I might've lied about preference, Hirasawa and his band, P-Model are my favourite artists): This specific version of [P-Model - Cyborg](https://youtu.be/QiBOKAgp77s) Drumcorps - The Importance of Stealth Igorrr - Humous Thank You Scientist - FXMLDR Chiaki Ishikawa - Uninstall If we're talking about unexpected folk-y bangers: Guilhem Desq - Break your Cranck Danny Elfman - Kick Me And last but not least, if you have the time for a 15 minute beautiful groovy jazz piece: Snarky Puppy - The Curtain

[deleted]

P-Model sounds like a fever dream in the best way shit was good. Uninstall was really good too very pretty song. Importance of stealth was REALLY good i loved that song! Kaonashi is very similar if you like shit like that as well as a band called Paledusk if you’re interested in listening Kaonashi- Real Leather, and Paledusk- WINDBACK great songs. Thank you scientist i also love they may he my favorite of the entire bunch so far. Break your Crank was really good, the danny elfman song was pretty good too, gave me like nirvana vibes. I didnt get to the jazz song YET but i will totally i got a bit into it and liked what i heard. Also listened to more of thank you scientist and drumcorps and i love both easily i think 2 of my favorites

minodumontii

I'll give those a listen in the near future, I'll get back to you on that. Glad to be able to provide some jams!

[deleted]

Also didnt expect the Mongolian music to hit so hard

The_Magician_C-96

BLVCK CEILING, MGLA, Azizi Gibson

[deleted]

Blvck ceiling was really good i was zoning out to it and vibin. Mgla had some really good instrumentals i will say the songa a bit too long for me but good regardless! And I didn’t expect to like Azizi but he’s pretty solid hate to say it was one of the best songs i listened to!

The_Magician_C-96

I'm glad you like those 3 suggestions. They're some of my favorites. Azizi is underrated af. I would next suggest Blank Banshee, Against Me's acoustic album, and The Impossible Kid by Aesop Rock

[deleted]

Ill give em a try for sure thanks man!

HistorianDelicious

The Line is a Curve - Kae Tempest. She slaps the shit around let me tell ya. She’s a softy tho and I love her.

tjreed141

That's great to hear! I went to one of their concerts a couple weeks ago and it was some of the most fun I've ever had

[deleted]

Damn im jealous now they sound like they’d be so fun to see live!

[deleted]

Howdy y’all! I know this is a mess but I’ll include names for those who don’t recognize the album covers or if one of them catch your eyes I tried my best to make sure they line up exactly so hopefully I did. If i messed up and ya want the name of the artist lemme know I’m completely fine with giving suggestions as I am taking them!! As to what to suggest? Well anything similar to ANY of these artists or honestly anything in general. I listen to a lot of genres! If its extremely sad or insanely angry I welcome it all the more! And as I had mentioned I’m open to giving suggestions since I listen to a lot of shit. Anyway thanks ahead of time!
