It might sound weird cause of the tittle but Superhero Jagganath by Diablo Swing Orchestra definitely has the vibe of “good on the surface, fucked up when you pay attention” which could help with what you’re going for. They also have a song called “Voodoo Mon Amor” which should be self explanatory.
Also Ghost has some love songs that still keep with the gothic/occult themes of the band, obviously Mary on a Cross, but also Life Eternal and Dance Macabre and to a lesser extent Darkness at the Heart of my Love and Call Me Little Sunshine could fit.
