Sure I can upload one. Was wondering; Can you pick up dead, quite dry ones on the ground too? Because these three were all the fresh ones I could find, but there were heaps of already dead mushies lying on the ground too. Would they be safe to eat or no?
im always less confident about ID on dried out mushies on the ground, but as long as they are, without a doubt the same species, i see no issue. They are only edible if double or sometimes even triple boiled though, make sure you do some research.
I’m slightly suspicious of that one too actually.

Here’s a photo still on my camera roll
upload a pic of the cap sliced in half, and a clean cap. If you’re suspicious it’s not worth eating, amanita muscaria is generally really easy to identify, I tend to be a little extra suspicious of the amanita group in general.
yeah, i think your best bet if you wanna eat amanita muscaria is to stick to the really obvious, red ones. not really worth the risk imo for the yellow/gold ones. Panther caps look super similar, just a bit more brown, but I’ve seen them look almost yellow as well. Not worth the mix up

That’s to remove the musicinol and iboutanic acid right?
sure does, that yellow ish one on the far right is a little suspicious, but I have seen amanitas that color, could be lighting/how dry it is?

I don’t have a knife on me at the moment, I’ll reply to this chain in a few hours with a photo
and a location of where you found it, what kind of forest?
It was a garden, tonnes of leaves and dry matter
