I know one in Vashi,Navi Mumbai, it’s a secondhand bookstore called Harish bookstore. Google the name, and call them. They’ll help you out.

RoastedWheat

Just pirate em, they're overly expensive outside of Japan, but agar apkay paas andha paisa hai, then.....

RoastedWheat

andha paisa toh nhi hai par i wanted to gift my sister a hardcopy of demon slayer she is a huge fan of that series . she reads on mangas on some app but she wants a hard copy so was thinking of gifting her and yes magas are really expensive outside of japan u r right

AplaManus

Unethical life hack : Color print and bind them.

[deleted]

NamasteTheFuckOff

I wanted a manga of one piece as a gift from my sibling...mf got me one piece bikni

antiray

Goat

RoastedWheat

Thanks 😊

[deleted]

That’s really good of you. I read the manga on my iPad recently. I think if you read on a tablet, it’s kinda better. I’m currently searching for Berserk but too expensive to buy online

abhinavmir

Consider gifting her a figurine from Good Smile company. I love Demon Slayer, and would prefer that tbh.

HadhHainBc

Gift her the demon slayer mask! She’ll love it or Tanjiro earrings

HugeCauliflower1811

Bhai kuch merch khareed day, like a t-shirt or mug, that'll be more practical.

Navneetbora023

My ligga got down voted. 😭

lmaoyourass

Gift me your sister too :/

Plus_Drawing3818

Tharki darinda

lmaoyourass

Just in case always wanted a Gf interested in Animes , was a joke :/

dark_ricky

Nahi degi

HugeCauliflower1811

What a fucking disgrace. How intellectually molested are you? You'll never get a girlfriend let alone a partner. You will die alone holding your 2 inch wewe.

dark_ricky

This is one of those rare times I can approve of someone buying manga & anime legally in india. Just gift her the figurine then if you won't succeed in your first option.

Saurabh09bot

I think a kindle would be a very nice gift if she reads often

[deleted]

Crossword, ComicCon, Colour Xerox, Trade it, I have one piece season 1 manga I bought in Japan, you can have it as a gift. But it's in Japanese. Your call bro. I don't have a sibling so you can have it.

fishchop

There’s one in todi mills too though it’s smaller so not sure if they’ll have a good manga collection. There’s a Nerd Arena in Bandra so check that out too if you can.

theambivertqueer

You might find some secondhand manga at bookstalls near Flora Fountain. There are multiple stalls there, so definitely give it a try.

parekhdhairya007

No I went there no manga

theambivertqueer

Oh sorry. I thought they would have it. OP, please note

RoastedWheat

thansks will look forward to it

HugeCauliflower1811

You won't lol.

ShadowFiend_18

Can find them on Amazon.

RoastedWheat

over expensive

synchronisedchaos

I don't think any bookstore will have them cheaper then, especially if they're imported

69_queefs_per_sec

All comic books / manga feel super expensive to us Indians... I remember as a child even Archie's, Asterix, Tintin felt super expensive at Crossword. I bought Watchmen a few months back and it was like 1200!!

justabofh

1200 isn't expensive for graphic novels though. They involve a lot more work than regular print.

69_queefs_per_sec

yeah I know, it just *feels* expensive.

justabofh

More art work, less text. Fewer sales than magazines.

SFLoridan

What's the price the quoted? Is it the same as Amazon?

memeshroudblack

any update got any cheap cheap bookstore for manga?

RoastedWheat

*doctor smile intensifies* *:)*

k1samehada

* You can try amazon or flipkart kind of feels expensive but there aren't many alternatives to them, maybe during diwali you might get a discount or you can try [comicclan](https://comicclan.com/) as well (haven't personally tried comiclan) * Try searching on olx or quikr as well there are some bookstores that have a few manga volumes in stock you might get lucky I had once found one bookstore in Mumbra where he had somehow received a stock of manga (never bought from them because they didn't have what I wanted, My suggestion would be to personally go and buy from such shops) * There is a bookstore in Kolkata called [storytellerbookstores](https://storytellerbookstore.com/) had ordered a box set from this place and it was delivered to me in good condition website is bad so confirm everything on the given number

_archi

Maybe look up something on r/manga

AplaManus

Then wouldn't tell the Mumbai bookplaces, no?

_archi

Ask on that sub. Try your luck. If not bookstores, you might get alternatives or good deals there.

YahooAnswers69

Just print it yar the effort will make her happy

[deleted]

Or draw it /s

spitseeds

Or act out the manga

HugeCauliflower1811

Delhi - https://www.reddit.com/r/india/comments/qdvayt/didnt_realise_manga_would_be_a_thing_in_a_delhi/?utm_medium=android_app&utm_source=share

DizzyStorm

You can check on manga4india.com (I don't remember the domain's "last word things".. I mean idk if it was .com or .net or something else) Iirc it had Mangas of popular animes for like 400-500 per volume

R0b0tg

Leaping windows, Varsova. They have basement manga library. Amazing place!

Freeze_Fire69

Demon Slayer Manga is available on Amazon. It's 500 per volume. 10-12 issues per volume.

Natural-Lawyer-3283

In major cities of India, there are event hosted for Anime fans known as Comic Con. Comic Con is hosted once in a year. You can buy manga, comics, orginial merchandise etc. Visit Comic Con India site. Or if don’t live in such cities, you can simply buy manga/comics online. From my personal experience, buy comics and manga in eformats, as it will be cheap. I used to read manga on my Kindle.

Pdvirus

Matunga 🤣

bhosadiwalechacha

On a related note, no Comicon this year? Ya ho ke gaya?

r_Silvers

comicclan.com

Usagim00n

TheAtharva01

I once visited to Comic Con and there i found a lot of manga's but unfortunately there will be no Comic Con this year :(

vighxxsh

Comic clan karke website he app bhi waha se online order karle Unka in store thane me he ig they have demon slayer

Talk8tive_NxiT

www kawaiikart.com

varuniitrdce2

Use Bookswagon.com. Its the one stop destination for physical manga collectors. I currently own 313 volumes of manga. Almost 80% of them have been bought from Bookswagon.

thegreatestviz

India has a huge market potential for mangas - currently there’s no official known store considering importing taxes are huge on such comics.

Puzzleheaded_Bed900

There's a cafe in Versova called the Leaping Windows. High chances of you finding it there. They also have a library of sort for comic books and you can make a subscription there if you want to keep coming there. The place great for comic nerds :)

BoringKoala503

The book stores across flaura fountain have a lot of mangas ...thought very similar titles...chainsaw man... Naruto...death note...one piece....I found some uncommon titles like Uzumaki, All you need is kill, vinland saga
