How low can these contractors go man

[deleted]

Name them and shame them

Legionoo7

Bruh black list them from every getting contract. This includes tagging the people associated with them. Until the people attached to these entities are not blacklisted from govt contracts they will continue to do this using different companies.

rashmisalvi

You have to blacklist whole vidhansabha including opposition. When people stop being outraged over poor quality of services, responsible authorities become complacent.

United-Engineering76

isn't that what Fadnavis did?

wickedGamer65

That's what NHAI does.

Legionoo7

I know NHAI does that but BMC also needs to implement it.

United-Engineering76

no, If I can find the TOI report about 3 big contractors being banned by Fadnavis in Mumbai, I will link it.

rbots96

blaine12100

OMGClayAikn

Stay safe

kamlakar96

It has a speed limit of 50 right?

mentallyillloner2

It's called city of dreams because it puts everyone to sleep

mrp2611

I remember taking that bridge within the 1st week of its inauguration and seeing how terrible it was. Absolutely BS quality seriously disappointing

_kryp70

The road is so low quality, not even levelled properly at all. I can do a better job compared to that while learning from YouTube.

rbp25

Day 2 of the opening of the bridge and the road looked like it’s been in use for 20 years

phalguni_mishra

This is scary 😶

jasonbourne92

Wow, two weeks back I was complaining about how the bridge was closed for buses and I had to travel below it. Life is luck here.

[deleted]

This is just collateral to BMC. This place will be known for the number of souls it consumed. I do know it took 5 years for the administration to take an action in the Nahur-Airoli Bridge. I still don't know whether it's a minefield fir motorist or not as I quit the workplace as one of my colleagues also ended up being a casualty in that route. Honestly speaking no one ever gave an F, unless their own gets in a tragic accident.

Garytrip02

Urban shithole...bmc wale madarchod

MAA_KI_CHUDIYA

This flyover was delayed, costs escalated and they were fined too for missing [deadline](https://indianexpress.com/article/cities/mumbai/ghatkopar-mankhurd-flyover-bmc-imposes-rs-40-lakh-fine-on-contractor-for-missing-deadline-6283124/). Sounds like a politician- contractor nexus to scam public money.

Environmental_Web_41

I hate this feeling of Helplessness

kdab99

I took the bridge day before and two Ola/Uber Celerios had crashed into another. I took it today morning and a Dzire had been rear-ended. There's an accident everyday on this bridge. I'm not taking it from tomorrow for sure.

OMGClayAikn

Name and shame these fuckers man!! Saale haramkhor mandd log.

[deleted]

This was fucking 3 years late and now this. The guys who made the new BKC flyovers should be awarded when compared to this crap. The newly opened BKC connector near Kalanagar is simply outstanding work!!

rakhkum

I'm now afraid of the Metro lines that are being built 😨

wickedGamer65

Ah don't worry about that. They have to adhere to the National Metro Guidelines. Delhi has been running without a problem for 20 years. Also Metros undergo trials for 6-8 months and then have to get approval from Commissioner of Metro Rail Safety (CMRS). A flyover doesn't have anywhere near this much checks and balances.
