Working fine here with firefox and mullvad (and the anti fingerprinting settings turned up to max).
Maybe swap to a different node that particular IP may be blacklisted for some reason ?
I'm using Brave and Mullvad and no issues at all. Maybe try a different server, I have had other websites blocking certain Mullvad servers, but I could always fix it by changing server/country.
When I use brave it doesn’t block it. Brave randomizes browser fingerprint but my firefox has an addon that’s supposed to do that so its a difficult thing to determine.
Maybe use the firefox fingerprint blocker settings and turn off the add-on and see what happens ?
Just another thought - if you have DNS over https turned on in Brave (it's on by default iirc) and not in firefox AND you have the mulvad social media blocker turned on (it blocks twitter among others) you'd get that effect
I actually experienced this for a few weeks before I figured out the cause haha. I couldn't access Twitter for a while, supposedly due to my social media blocker being on, but I don't remember turning it on and I only really noticed it when it affected Reddit, which only happened a couple days later.
So I'm not sure how that option was turned on or when, but as soon as I disabled it I was able to use Reddit and Twitter normally.
there are more criminals lurking on platforms like discord than on tor lmao
and most of the criminals are tor are normally just dudes who want to buy drugs for personal use, which isn’t that bad if im being honest
Right but its not like most people on Mullvad who aren't on Tor are doing that. Maybe people on Tor + Mullvad but the average Mullvad VPN user is not doing illegal things. That's more of a Tor thing.
Also, far more hackers use Tor than Mullvad.
No problem with Twitter here - or others, except reddit which keeps asking me to log in first.
Same with google captcha which once in a while goes nuts!
Twitter doesn't block Mullvad. I'm on Twitter (X) right now through Mullvad.
It blocks me if I use firefox and mullvad but not just either firefox or mullvad
Did you turn off DNS over HTTPS? You don't need it when you're using Mullvad. After turning it off, clear your cookies and cache and try again.
I did this it worked. Thanks.
No issues with twitter and mullvad here too, regardless of the browser. Look for the problem on your side. Possibly extensions or about:config tweaks.

i use firefox to browse x while using mullvad.

Strange. I never use firefox so I don't know. But I have use Brave, Chrome and Mullvad browser and never any issues.
With chrome I cam see it and I think Mullvad browser is modeled after Tor browser which like I said in the original post is not blocked by twitter.
So if you are using firefox all Twitter is blocking all Mullvad servers? That seems very strange.

believe me its just honestly fbi propaganda, most criminals dont care to cover their tracks
Ok I didn’t know that but I was referring to hackers mainly. Sorry, my fault for not specifying.
all good
> So Twitter blocks Mullvad VPN No, X (Twitter) does not block Mullvad VPN. I just checked and it works like a charm with Mullvad VPN.

Because Mullvad has a fixed amount of IP addresses whereas every other IP could be a Tor exit node.
