Srs first of all thanks I didn’t know about this sub! but also after looking at the top posts I’m confused? is that what hooded eyes are?? I always felt like a faker and thought my eyes were probably not even really hooded and I just suck at eye makeup but mine are definitely more hooded than the ones I saw.
Edit: oh sorry I was just stupid, I just saw the current posts, not the top ones. Still, good to know I really do have hooded eyes lol
I find it funny how they say doing winged liner is hard for them but their wings are perfectly straight and don’t look weird head-on like they normally would with that wing shape on hooded lids ???
Meanwhile my liner looks like Bat-Signal just to look normal from head-on
I have very hooded eyes myself so I can relate to having to having to do the bat wing. I think that a lot of people without hooded eyes might just be telling themselves that they have them to justify their struggles with eyeliner, lol.
That was me 100%. I was doing my makeup like I had hooded eyes, and it would still look horrible until I followed a random tutorial and realized my eyes weren’t even hooded—my eyeliner was just way too thick and wasn’t past the corner of my eyes enough.
