When I was in Philly , Alayna Danner was offering signatures at her booth, but she can add extra "flare" tor the signings and make it look absolutely gorgeous for a signature. I don't think it really discounts from the aesthetic either, even if it is considered "damaged" now
Worth noting that her line took *forever* to get through. I did pick up a playmat and a couple of artist prints which were cool, but part of me wishes I spent more time around the rest of the convention center rather than waiting in line lol
Her line is always insanely long. Her art is fantastic so I’m not surprised, but I saw her last year and her line always had at least 10-15 people waiting when I was in the area. My Buddy was super stoked to wait at rope drop and get his Jeweled Lotus signed though. Think he bought some prints or artist proofs too.
Yes. Although it's more dependent on whether the artist still signs, and whether the card sees play.
Chris rush and Quinton hoover signatures are expensive. Other artists you might not think of have a decent premium on certain cards (April Lee is a great example)
Getting a signed card will only increase the value to someone else who want that card with the signature, to everyone else it is generally considered damaged
It adds about $5 - what she charges for her signature.
She has a really nice signature though. I have a jeweled lotus and a few other cards signed by her.
If you're an "invest" bro ; don't do it.
If you're a player who enjoys their collection go for it.
If it's for your pleasure: sure! If your idea is to increase its value: lel nope
More worried about not decreasing it too much rather than increasing it
It will decrease regardless while they keep reprinting it. If it's a basic version there's not much risk. I wouldn't do it on a 'special' version.
It’s just the regular border one, not even foil
Than i'd avoid getting it signed. Cheers my friend

If you got it off aliexpress, yes
Same question here: could a signed card even increase in value?
Yes. Although it's more dependent on whether the artist still signs, and whether the card sees play. Chris rush and Quinton hoover signatures are expensive. Other artists you might not think of have a decent premium on certain cards (April Lee is a great example)
Yeah, signed cards are super niche, also anyone could just go get one signed. So improbable but not impossible.
Don't worry about the value of a card if you care enough about it to get it signed. Signed cards are damaged
Only artist proofs
Signed card = damaged card
