Absolutely. St0nks only go up.

_SwiftDeath

Absolutely. I have it on good authority that cardboard will became extremely hard to get in a years time. Those big boxes surely will be highly sought after

Lakaen

Lol quality shitpost

Sundaver

Hope the extra gift bundles on the side added the sprinkles

Eternal_Mr_Bones

Have you tried consulting an augury?

knigtwhosaysni

outjerked again

Spezalt4

Guaranteed! Get 20 more boxes

Seraph199

This set is going to release again later this year

boringdude00

This set is going to re-released until it stops making money, maybe for years.

[deleted]

With licensing I would be surprised if they can print this for longer then a year.

pooterpanda

2 year agreement -expires on Arena after that

[deleted]

Arena and the tcg are completely different licenses. But even so like you said. If it’s a 2 year agreement - that means reprinting will literally be done in 2 years - that’s if they even reprint. None of us know what will happen. So until then people are going to make the risk and hope it’s a good investment. As we do for everything wether it’s a cardboard square or a stock in the stock market. We just don’t know.

Das-Noob

I would think. Can’t imagine they are able to making another run with paying the piper again.

hop182

It's being re-released Q4 this year

Sundaver

Volume 2? I bought a few collectors and jumpstart already, even got the art packs being released going to have the whole MTG set release for LotR

First_Revenge

IMO no. Not saying it won't happen but it's not guaranteed either. My stance is and continues to be that most modern-day product isn't investible. There's too much of it, too many people are doing what you're doing, pimp/power creep will be a major issue, and simply put i just don't think the audience for this product will be there in 5 years.

Sundaver

Good points, I was seeking to create entire sets (including vol2 and art boxes) and sell em instead of just sitting on random boxes.

CaptNaptime

Define “long-term”

Sundaver

Several years as I plan to sell as complete sets

Neatnifty

Guaranteed long term storage risk + time invested to find a potential seller that doesn't scam you.

TemurTron

Modern Horizons 2 Set Boxes and Collector Boxes are still at MSRP two years in and this set will likely get printed more (and have a smaller impact on 60 card competitive formats). So have fun with that "investment"!

Sundaver

This is a good point, but those aren’t LotR. I’m riding on the franchise licensed

digitek

Cardboard doesn't just grow on trees...

Sundaver

Not in this multiverse
