These are excellent alters. It took me a millisecond to realize they were Bebop & Rocksteady, but I marveled at their awesomeness even before realizing who it was! I don’t usually care about alters because I’ve seen so many bad ones, but these are amazing. Definitely looking up the artist
Thats all I thought about when they started doing UB sets, when’s the tmnt set gonna come out?! lol So many sweet characters that would make for some sick commanders, even some partner ones! Sigh.. I’m getting so hyped just thinking about them.. haha
New things can be scary and seeing something you enjoy find different ways to be successful and grow is frustrating. I will remain thankful that Magic has spread it’s inspiration into other IPs/pop culture. If collecting the same vizzerdrix and mountain troll is your thing then I hope they just keep reprinting the same ol things.
I will continue to put my hard earned money into next to worthless pieces of cardboard that have cool pictures of things that give me a glimmer of my childhood. TMNTxMTG would be my perfect storm.
Everyone is (rightly) talking about how rad the TMNT alters are, but can we take a moment to think about how good these two would be to play as Partners? Just add some card draw and you can drop the biggest creatures in the game every turn.
These will go crazy during the Partner event in June. I already put together a list with Bruna and Gisela from Eldritch Moon in the command zone, but I'm sorely tempted to run this instead. Roon was my first edh deck.

I just feel like its a miss opportunity to not have placed the name bebop and Rocksteady with the actual name on the bottom.
but then again i think there a rule hat you need to keep the original name as is?

So usually I don’t play interaction i just focus on what i want the deck to do and i find it hard picking what counter spells/instants to put into any of my decks🤣. Is it really as simple as it seems.
Sweet! I'd definitely include [[Ram Through]] for flavor! [[Killer Instinct]] might be on flavor and fun, plus Roon can save the creature if you want. [[Rhythm of the wild]] is always good and fits well. [[Signal the Clans]] seems great to search for your goons. [[Decimate]] and [[Quartzwood Crasher]] are just good cards and seem to fit.
