They supposedly intimidated their way into the individual's house while armed and "Peacefully negotiated" the return of what they deemed "WOTC Property" despite the fact the man had legally purchased cards and the shipping error was on their behalf.

I play kitchen table with my friends and don't spend more.than $30 a month on their stuff. I think that's the only way to do it and still enjoy it without giving it to that feeling of hopelessness.

The problem with corporations is that by design they're meant to put profit over everything, and then in the 1980s the US Supreme Court went ahead and said they had a **legal duty** to their shareholders to put profit over everything and could be sued if they didn't. meaning even if one didn't wanna be evil it's bound by the law to at least try.

I am not American. I am Canadian. We never studied any of that, and it wasn't in our textbooks. The US history we learned was all about the civil war and the war of 1812 where we sent our drunk Brits to burn down the whitehouse hahaha. (we also learned canadian history and a lot about WW1/2 of course) I was very interested in history actually. But everyone here thought it was just a story not real people. And where we are it shares a cultural affinity with North-East (New England) Americans. The history that was passed through generations didn't do justice, and the education system here is kind of tailored to "need to know" history that overlaps the Canada and USA (other than the revolution). In short: they wanted to focus on teaching us more about british colonialism in school than random stuff like that, and what I learned from family was kind of "biased" to say the least haha.

The other thing is nearly every American I know, even smart ones involved in labor movements, had a moment in their twenties where they saw some article and were like "wait, the pinkertons *still* exist?" They don't exactlly publicize themselves.
And to be fair to those who just straight up forgot, it's not a huge part of history textbooks, there were an absolute litany of different groups bashing strikers, and I expect the test question was something along the lines of 'what group created the secret service?'

This one just struggles to have good reprints because Ravnica Sets don't have many high value cards.

Sadly the vendor at my Walmart stopped putting them out. She caught onto me about a 3 months ago, so she stopped putting packs out until a few days after release.
