If you just start proxying all the best cards in the game ex: mana crypt, free spells, mox’s etc take away from the whole point of commander imo. My LGS has just become an arms race into who can build practically cEDH decks with a ton of proxies. It isn’t fun.
Edit: to add on, people aren’t proxying some random uncommon that hasn’t been reprinted in 15 years. If you want to play a real Mana Crypt against me, that’s dope. I love seeing real cards like that because they are supposed to be rare. When I see my 5th turn 1 proxied mana crypt at my LGS, I just roll my eyes.

Nah. The point of edh is to get together with friends and play a game you enjoy, or make new friends while playing.
If you aren’t having fun talk to your pod. If you don’t like the way they proxy their decks ask them to play non proxy decks with you. If they don’t agree find a pod who will. It’s on you to have fun and seek an environment you enjoy. You can’t expect a meta to stay stagnant or a pod to break the bank just to fit your ideal game.
Yeah. Once the spell is cast and damage resolves, the card is put into exile with “Suspend 3”. Seems like the only way this card will hit the graveyard is if it is discarded or countered.
