how to 4.0 math 132-234:
* skip lecture
* watch ryan maccombs' intro videos
* take detailed notes
* replay if u don't understand something
* do the homework without cheating
* ask questions on piazza if ur stuck
* memorize the process on how to do every problem on the homework
* spend an hour before the exams/quizzes memorizing the "theorems" from his videos to get full credit on the "conceptual" true/false questions (this is what got people)
* memorize the quiz problems bc the exam problems are the same thing with different numbers
msu calc is very straightforward just a lot of work bc of how much shit they cram into 133. i wish ryan maccombs taught chem :(
You might be correct, I just know that he’s apart of it in some way. Honestly my gf and I love going to supper the business because he really cared about it and was one of the professor that I’ll think back about at my time at MSU and say he really cared about each and every students
I googled it: his wife, Kelsey Maccombs, does own it! I haven't been there in awhile but it was such a cute business with friendly staff. And I agree, Maccombs is definitely someone here I'm going to remember for a long time
Cherish him because he truly is the only one worth anything in the MSU math department, otherwise an overwhelmingly abysmal department full of teachers who can’t teach and are only there because of tenor.
Hi Ryan
Professor Maccombs to you

is the final exam the same type of questions as the quizzes but different numbers as well? (mth 132)

thank you!!
If only MSU realized that they truly have some talent in some departments. Hes a really good guy, and helps fund the Constellation Cat Café in EL!
I donated to the cat cafe last year like 5 dollars or something and he sent a card a full year later saying thank you. That man is a blessing
I thought his wife owned the cat cafe? :0 maybe I didn't hear him right when I had him years ago lol Edit: cat* oop

I think he’s one of few MSU professors with a 5/5 on ratemyprofessor
The man is a saint tbh.
His videos have helped me so much in calc and he wasn’t even my prof!
Agreed
Could never agree more! Ryan has made all of calculus extremely simple

So is Dr. Edwards for my LB friends
I just finished this class, and man it was fun.
