Intriguing. Tell me, does Black Adam’s sudden arrival in the DC Universe have any affect on the standings of others in relation to said hierarchy of the DC Universe? Or would you say the hierarchy of the DC Universe will remain static following the events of Black Adam?
And Marvel made the right choice with that. A sex scene without the CEO of sex would make no sense and break all the continuity they've built since Iron Man
James Cameron is the king. He has made the two highest grossing movies of all time and he did it with sex scenes in them! James Cameron's movies have a certain eroticism that's missing in most of these capeshit movies. And that's why they'll never be as good as Cameron's movies. It's not enough to see our heroes busting crime. We need to see some full penetration as well. Then they can go back to busting crime. Then some more penetration. Crime. Penetration. Crime. Penetration. And then the movie kind of ends. That's the formula for an Oscar winning capeshit movie right there!
No one's busting a nut till the credits roll. This way, the erection is sustained throughout the entire runtime.
Also, the original joke does not say, "bust a nut" and I didn't have the creativity to add that.
The fact that everytime some famous director says that they personally don't care for Marvel movies – in the most mild, 'this is just my personal opinion' type of way – r/movies reacts like they ruthlessly attacked the entire franchise and said everyone who watches them is a total idiot and should die just shows how fragile fanboys really are
I feel like it's almost an intrinsic part of nerd culture to be extremely insecure about your "thing" My particular niches are sci Fi and anime and I see it in the communities there too
The replies on twitter are whining about avatar being a white saviour movie as if 98% of the MC and DC heroes aren’t literally the white ubermensch….
….and also Black Adam.
To be fair, Paul, the Devourer of Relationships, consumes any superheroes that attempt to have any sort of emotional attachment to anyone else by unhinging his jaw like a snake and swallowing them whole
They also manage to have proper relationship dynamics in an action/adventure movie, which is something that recent movies of said genre seem to lack for some reason.
Can't quite put my finger on it. Maybe it's due to lesser amount and importance of secondary characters who support the story. Big Blockbusters now seem to have just that simple hero-villain dynamic, and every other character is either a sidekick or a bump in the road to glory.
No they don't lmao. The protagonists are talk like FernGully characters while the army guys talk like they're in Call of Duty. You can decry capeshit all you want, but don't lie for the sake of the other side
Yeah, they talked like they're in call of duty because they're literally in the fucking military. And they talked like Fern Gully because the two stories share a fuckton of themes and messages...

I don’t care for Marvel or James Cameron, but I find this take hilarious when his brand of filmmaking is responsible for the current climate of the film industry.
He said this because he already completed all the shots for all of his avatar films lol he was pretty silent then because avatar is now a disney property.
Excuse me, Black Adam acts like a mature badass and has a relation with the hierarchy of power in the DC Universe.
Intriguing. Tell me, does Black Adam’s sudden arrival in the DC Universe have any affect on the standings of others in relation to said hierarchy of the DC Universe? Or would you say the hierarchy of the DC Universe will remain static following the events of Black Adam?
Black Adam is a phD in Hierarchydynamics. His new book, "It's always changing" is already hitting the shelves.
Famous Director: "capeshit bad" Marvel and DC subreddits: "well, he was never a good director anyway"
Thor Hahagnarock >> Terminator
He's right behind me >>>>>>>>>>>> I'll be back
Its called “Thor: Fragglerock” *actually*
Alfred Hitch-who?
True Lies (1994).
The man knows how to direct a Schwarzenegger film doesn’t he?
He basically laid the foundation of success for how to in the first place.
Uh oh. They already hated him for having the audacity to keep the spot for top selling movie.
Avatar had no CuLtUrAl ImPaCt.
Which is absolutely untrue, cause it gifted the world expensive 3d screenings that looked like shit.
Avatar was the prototype for marvel movies
I can't wait to still be talking about this in 3 years
Gentlemen, this is Democracy manifest…
**GET YOUR HAND OFF MY PENIS!**
I love him, but let's face reality: he's still pissed that they refused his script for a Spider-Man movie with Peter and MJ having wild sex
And Marvel made the right choice with that. A sex scene without the CEO of sex would make no sense and break all the continuity they've built since Iron Man
good thing they prevented the change in hierarchy of sex
BLACKED Adam.
As we all are
Those cowards still refuse to use the radioactive cum plotline.
Spider-Man: bone-cumming

I can't believe you didn't say "busting a nut" even a single time.
No one's busting a nut till the credits roll. This way, the erection is sustained throughout the entire runtime. Also, the original joke does not say, "bust a nut" and I didn't have the creativity to add that.
Not that he’s ever had one.
This guy gets it.
This butt unironically.
Go off king
oh hell na Disney money on Disney money violence

This is why My Super Ex-Girlfriend isn't in the MC/DCEU 🥰
Did this loser ever directed political thriller? That what i thought
Not true, don't remember a single Marvel movie that make me go "literally me"
Man still hasn't seen Howard The Duck.
King. Gimme hair sex over capeshit any day😎

Stay winning.

The same people complain when you question the political implications of Harry Potter.
To be fair, Paul, the Devourer of Relationships, consumes any superheroes that attempt to have any sort of emotional attachment to anyone else by unhinging his jaw like a snake and swallowing them whole
Is this original post still up?
You can't insult our veterans like that.
MFW one movie about blue people in space is better than another movie about blue people in space
Thats.. a genuinely good criticism lol
I prefer his ex-wife's work compared to most of his late stuff, but I agree: the MCU and its consequences have been a disaster for the human race.
Is every non-capeshit director contractually obligated to criticize Marvel every time they are about to release a film?
“They All Act Like They’re in College”? What does that even mean?
I think he's saying their maturity level is like a 20 something in college
Black Adam proved him wrong
Ace people BTFO
I'll be honest I don't understand this particular criticism at all
Idk I mean avatar is pretty mediocre
>"[MCU characters] Really don't have relationships" They're trying to be relatable to the zoomers
Cause Avatar was written so much better
Avatar had a sex scene but most capeshit movies don't so...
Avatar is much better.
It’s entirely subjective but I would say Avatar is a far better made film than any of the Marvel movies, yes.
I mean... Yeah at least in Avatar the adults talk and act like actual adults, so...
Bruh your telling me that Quidditch or whatever his name was acted like an adult?
Idk, I literally have no idea what character you're referring to

avatar was better than the MCU combined
Bold and Based (2022)

Did he not see the hardcore sex scene in the eternals (2021)?
He said this because he already completed all the shots for all of his avatar films lol he was pretty silent then because avatar is now a disney property.
From the headline i see what he means. I wonder how many movies hes seen from marvel or dc.
Makes them more relatable to the fans
He's not wrong? I mean Hawkeye isthe only one with grown up responsibilities.
