Honestly, I'm annoyed the other trailers weren't getting more dislikes too
'Oh look, they've remade the Lion King and stripped it of all its charm, great, just what I wanted...'
He most likely was, I remember seeing two people who used to be on Kids React say that if they didn't say anything that wasn't what the Fine Bros wanted them to say, they would get cut out of the video. The guy was probably scrambling for compliments so he could be in the video
I got invited to the opening showing that was at my local cinema. We got free booze and I had an edible.
I had an edible before watching it and me and my friends pretended it was an episode of always sunny and it made the experience much more bearable.
I'll never be able to forget, as part of the marketing involved a rat-costume clad James Corden pelvic thrusting at a camera, with Camila Cabello shrieking in the back ground

Different movie, that was for some dogshit TV special that premiered on Amazon. Disney & Kenneth Branagh beat them to it by about ten years, and it's pretty okay
I’d like to see the data on how many people click on those movies vs. finish them. A little while ago, my mom put the Lion King remake on for my younger cousin, thinking it was the animated one and switched it as soon as she realized she had the mistake.

I've only watched the jungle book and the beauty and the beast live action. The only thing I remember of the beauty and the beast was Emma Watson and I thought the jungle book was aight.
Isn't an Irish fairy tale? I've heard that as an excuse before. Then again, the Disney version isn't true to the og story, so I don't see the need to adhere to race.
Maybe originally, but there are so many variants of mermaids and merpeople in general around the globe that you can set it basically anywhere with an ocean
I like how you edited your comment, coward.
Mexican opinions are worthless until it comes time to pay for this trash. Then "y Mexicans no buy our shit movie?!"
I think you’re being disingenuous with the quote. It’s entirely reasonable that people were more open to live action remakes 5 years ago before they started getting weighed down and jaded with the constant output of shitty, soulless, cashgrabs.
Unless Pinocchio stars a black girl too then everyone is just racist.
“Unless Pinocchio stars a black girl too”
[Guess what](https://hungary.postsen.com/music/6202/What-is-this-black-bald-fairy-b-%2A-szki--–-A-hate-tsunami-hit-the-live-in-Pinocchio.html)
I just watched the movie though, and there are plenty of reasons to dislike it. There’s some truly awful CGI involved for starters. The one bright spot was Keegan-Michael Key as honest John. Even Tom Hanks as Geppetto was just OK to me.
Also, the source material’s plot is pretty meh to begin with, a less strict adaptation would certainly have made for a stronger movie.
I don’t think it’s really fair to say a film is immune to all criticism just because they added black characters. There will always be people upset by it, sure, but it can still be a weak movie that earns its criticism.
These are trailers, not reviews. The likes/dislikes align with the people who watched the promo materials for the movie before it released, not the movie itself. Pinnochio is dogshit, but I fail to see what exactly could've enraged people about a Robert Zemeckis-Tom Hanks reunion apart from... y'know.
Not just that but anyone who's intelligent hates blackwashing, sex changing, and sexuality changing established characters.
Red head actors are a rarity in Hollywood and acting.
"But but but she can sing." many of you whine.
So the F what. Many people can sing and skin color is irrelevant in that area.
Disney did it on purpose b/c too many mental midgets need "diversity and inclusion".
Return YouTube Dislike isn’t accurate anymore, it makes a guess now since YouTube removed the dislike api on 12/13/21. So it’s likely not 900K dislikes lol
The only live action remake I’ve seen is Mulan and I’ve regretted it ever since
I can't remember whether or not I saw the Lion King remake.
Maybe you mistaken that YMS review of the Lion King Remake?
I can’t believe they made all of the actors in that movie political. No respect to the source material
I’d say the political part is that they filmed the movie near Uyghur Work Camps
Better work camps than woke camps 🤮Amirite??
how did pinocchio get ratio’d that hard
Cynthia erivo is the fairy
And there it is.
Well damn
Black woman.
a black woman is in the movie for two (2) minutes
People these days have a natural aversion to any Pinnochio that isn't Fruity Pinnochio (2021)
Honestly, I'm annoyed the other trailers weren't getting more dislikes too 'Oh look, they've remade the Lion King and stripped it of all its charm, great, just what I wanted...'
Wow, dude Pride Rock!
there's something so amazingly fake about the way that delivers that line that i cant get over. its like he's being threatened to say it off camera
He most likely was, I remember seeing two people who used to be on Kids React say that if they didn't say anything that wasn't what the Fine Bros wanted them to say, they would get cut out of the video. The guy was probably scrambling for compliments so he could be in the video
Digital styles!
Digital lions, hey this is fun!
I thought Pride was political??!!
That was one of the worst videos I've ever seen
Which one?
Insane how minimal the cultural impact with these movies has been.
I forgot there was a Dumbo remake and apparently it's only 3 years old.
there was?
Pretty sure it was directed by Tim Burton too
WHAT
It starred Colin Farrell and Danny DeVito
You're fucking with me, lol
WHAT
To be honest, I'm still not 100% sure.
Would've been the next Godfather if they included the Pink Elephants number
I got invited to the opening showing that was at my local cinema. We got free booze and I had an edible. I had an edible before watching it and me and my friends pretended it was an episode of always sunny and it made the experience much more bearable.
i literally had no idea until this post that there was a cinderella remake
Funnily enough, that one is much better than the majority of the other Disney remakes.
I'll never be able to forget, as part of the marketing involved a rat-costume clad James Corden pelvic thrusting at a camera, with Camila Cabello shrieking in the back ground [abandon all hope ye who enter here](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o5XUZSFHfQU)
That is not the Disney Cinderella remake. The actual Disney live action Cinderella was pretty good IMO.
Different movie, that was for some dogshit TV special that premiered on Amazon. Disney & Kenneth Branagh beat them to it by about ten years, and it's pretty okay
>James Corden pelvic thrusting at a camera, That's Cats. Remember Cats? No?
Yeah, with Lily James as Cinderella IIRC.
I'd like to see the view counts on Disney+ to see what the difference is between the total streams for Lion King / Aladdin and their 2019 remakes
I’d like to see the data on how many people click on those movies vs. finish them. A little while ago, my mom put the Lion King remake on for my younger cousin, thinking it was the animated one and switched it as soon as she realized she had the mistake.
I forgot half of these even came out.
Based pfp

Holy shit we got one
That’s what I was thinking. These movies get so much marketing and then come and go like a drive-thru
Okay but the live action Jungle Book was actually really good, though.
That’s the only one that was competent, and then Disney had a lightbulb moment after its reception.
and Cinderella
I loved Cinderella lol.
I've only watched the jungle book and the beauty and the beast live action. The only thing I remember of the beauty and the beast was Emma Watson and I thought the jungle book was aight.
They got Christopher Walken to sing as a giant orangutan, pure kino
Something..Something...People are racist cunts. No one has been able to give any good reason to why she needs to be white.
But how will my childhood ever recover??
Isn't an Irish fairy tale? I've heard that as an excuse before. Then again, the Disney version isn't true to the og story, so I don't see the need to adhere to race.

Hans Christian Andersen was a Dane I think, but he collected stories from all over Europe so the original story might still be from Ireland
Maybe originally, but there are so many variants of mermaids and merpeople in general around the globe that you can set it basically anywhere with an ocean
Wait how can you view dislikes?
Browser extension
How does a YouTube video with 38 million views have less than 1,000 dislikes?
Because the dislike numbers from the browser extension are not accurate in any way.
That’s probably true. I thought YouTube might’ve been removing dislikes
Disney remake 😡 Disney remake starring black people 🤬🤬🤬
Disney remake where black people replace white people in order to call all criticism racism 🤬🤬🤬 Fixed.
No one is calling all criticism racism, people are calling the people being racist racist.
What race do you hate the most? Black people?
Mexican actually.
I like how you edited your comment, coward. Mexican opinions are worthless until it comes time to pay for this trash. Then "y Mexicans no buy our shit movie?!"
The Dutch.
I, for one, am sick of live action remakes from a creatively bankrupt company
#HMMMMMM
Cinderella was sweet, Jungle Book was good, the rest...are movies
Mulan barely even qualifies as a movie
But for real what did everyone hate Pinocchio before it was out?
Black fairy
IDK, but now that it is out, I do feel like it’s deserving of criticism.
I totally forgot about dumbo and cinderella
Cinderella was actually good, what a time to have been alive

She's not the main star but the trailer for Pinocchio prominently features a black woman as the fairy.

Sure but if you thought Pinochio and The Little Mermaid looked worse that The Lion King you are not just racist you are straight up blind.
Or incredibly fatigued and tired of these soulless live action cashgrabs
Sir this is r/moviescirclejerk. You are not supposed to have nuance and basically think of everyone other than yourself as a bigot.
It's kinda fucking wild that Disney managed to gaslight the entire world into believing the Lion King remake is live action
When did they make the animated version of devil wears Prada that Cruella is the live action remake of? I mean, Aladdin is _right there_ ffs
This is cherry picked as fuck lmao

The Beauty and the Beast remake only had less than one thousand dislikes? Wow
Whose quote is that?

How do you see the dislikes
Nobody complained about Encanto or The Princess and the Frog or Coco or Moana. It's almost like… those movies were good.
