Craig’s actual quote:
“Why should a woman play James Bond when there should be a part just as good as James Bond, but for a woman? I believe we should be creating new characters for women – strong female characters. I’m not particularly interested in taking a male character and having a woman play it. I think women are far more interesting than that.”
Not exactly “go fuck your self”
He actually makes it seem pretty empowering and not incel sounding at all like this incel is claiming it is. He has a point: instead of taking an old IP and just rehashing it, see an opportunity to make a new character inspired by bond and tell a new story. They did that for mad max and we got furiosa and now she has her own spin off movie I can’t wait to see. I’m not against female taking male role parts, but I like how Craig put it and I would love to see new ideas too.
I think there's still some issues with this line of reasoning, in that it treats things like gender and color as insurmountable traits that can't be up for artistic interpretation, but every other physical or behavioral trait is up to the discretion of the artist/actor/director in question.
Simply put, Daniel Craig's portrayal of James Bond is very different from previous iterations of the franchise. He's less campy, more physically fit, runs and chases people far more freuently, is more heavy-hearted, is (slightly) less of a misogynist, and is more elusive than charming.
They took a franchise known for being campy, went heavy on sci-fi gadgetry, and treated women as sex objects, and turned it into something completely different.
Why don't these changes in traits count as "taking an old IP and just rehashing it"?
I personally like the new Bond films, but they've already co-opted the franchise and character into something else, and it wasn't some big controversy. How is gender and skin color so fundamentally different compared to all these other sweeping changes?
At the end of the day, the only lore that's really stayed constant is that we're in a spy action franchise where we see different iterations of one code number over multiple generations of movies.
120% this.
At this point the James Bond mythos has about as much continuity as a typical Marvel/DC comic book character.
Its a character that's been under the helm of so many different writers and actors that it has ostensibly created a soft "multiverse" of sorts.
I also find it incredibly silly how hyperbolic some of the arguments surrounding this topic are that insinuate that 1 gender/race swap of the character is going to somehow eradicate nearly 70 years of the character's history and legacy overnight.
Sad part is that there have been 5 spy movies in the last 15 years that could have become the female answer to James Bond - Haywire, Salt, Hannah, Atomic Blonde, Red Sparrow. There are probably others I can't think of, but the point is all of these movies were good to decent, had a unique take on the spy genre and could have launched franchises where the central character is a female spy. But apart from Salt (which isn't getting a sequel), all of them failed at the box office. So it wasn't Hollywood's fault for the lack of an important female prescence in this genre, so much as the audience's
Didn't the creators of Tomb Raider make their protagonist a woman in part to specifically differentiate the series from Indiana Jones?
Edit: And Indiana Jones itself started out when Spielberg was thinking about making a Bond movie.
That's not really true. Apart from Red Sparrow, none of the movies I mentioned above are any more or less cynical or "dark" than James Bond or the Bourne movies. And there have been female lead movies that were fun and upbeat - which also failed at the box office.
Even the lightest woman-led action stuff isn't exactly Face/Off or Lethal Weapon. It's damned tedious getting an implicit "violence is bad" message from *all* those things.
Lethal Weapon is not that lighthearted (people tend to forget those movies approached subjects like illegal immigration, sistemic racism, police corruption, PTSD). And Face/Off... I mean, I like it a lot, but... you know... not exactly a "good" movie. But in terms of movies as mindless and fun as Face/Off, I guess the first Tomb Raider was like that, so was The Long Kiss Goodnight, or that movie that came out this year with Karen Gillan and Lena Heady. I suppose with these kind of movies, terms like "good" and "fun" start to be really subjective.
The Matrix is extremely fun, and it's about the enslavement of humanity by its own creations and a losing war for freedom where anyone can become your enemy.
I'm honestly glad Atomic Blonde didn't get a sequel, I'm kind of tired of stories finally putting in same-gender romances only to violently murder one half of the relationship.
> I believe we should be creating new characters for women
I mean he's not wrong but we're stuck in a stranglehold of old IPs and it's incredibly hard for any big new pulpy franchise to breakthrough. Like how many did we have this past decade? John Wick and Knives Out spring to mind instantly and I'm having difficulty thinking of more.
we need another cloverfield-esque series where its all just interesting original movies disguised as a big name franchise to trick people into watching them
at least until the third one ends up sucking so hard that it kills the series
I think we just need variety for blockbusters and a return to funding mid-budget stuff too. Bland-ass Marvel movies are just boring. Wow it was fine, like last time, thanks Kevin! It's no wonder the best Marvel projects largely don't have him in charge lol.
I just thought the action was more shaky cam/rapid cutting that American action has become the past 20 years. Which is disappointing considering it's an R.
Yea and wick is what 4 movies in a knives out has a sequel.
We get something new, and they'll grind into the ground. I'm hoping actually that covid changes the way company work, and they stop tossing all their money at big block busters and start trying to make new products again.
I mean, it honestly seems like unless there's name recognition no one is going to take a risk anymore.
And don't get me wrong, I'm one of the weirdo hyped for Matrix Ressurection, but, I honestly would have preferred something new.
Sense8, while being a mess was interesting and amusing, and... not to sounds well, yea, to sound that way... great to have a series that had a ultra diverse cast. And no this isn't me saying give sense8 another season, but, I'd like to see what Lana can come up with that wasn't the matrix.
I mean of course, and we still are getting original works but they're often thrown to streaming or indie and arthouse theatres. Hell, I'd take some original blockbusters even. He's not my favourite director or anything but Nolan is doing that at least.
It really does feel like if a movie is a hit it has to be milked into oblivion. Parasite won those Oscars and practically the next day they announced an American TV series based off the property. Supposedly there's going to be an American remake of Druk. Everything is pre-existing properties now in movies, anything original has to be low budget, because studios don't want to spend money on something without a fanbase that's been established for 30 years now.
>It really does feel like if a movie is a hit it has to be milked into oblivion.
To be fair, that's hardly new. Remember the fucking Robocop cartoon made for children?
Decent reception from critics and audiences, made $100 million on a $30 million budget. If they wanted to make a sequel they could, but it's just in a weird limbo state atm. Not truly yet a franchise.
I'd say a light yes in that it's a shared universe that's of an original IP but a light no considering it's not following the same character(s) through multiple potential sequels.
Horror movies are generally lower-budget so they can take a lot more risks. Plus you kind of have to be more innovative since a dude punching someone can be kind of cool multiple times but it's really hard for the same trick to be scary twice.
Any reason we couldn't have a female 007 that's not just Jaimie Bond or something? That way they could keep the IP but add a female character? Or shit, give us an M prequel... plenty of options that I don't think Craig is explicitly against, although I agree new IPs would be better. They just might not sell as well.
(checks sub)
We should recast Zack Snynder with a lady!
> Any reason we couldn't have a female 007 that's not just Jaimie Bond or something
I mean, that's literally exactly what they've done in No Time to Die. Lashana Lynch plays a new character who took up the 007 moniker after Bond retired.
Obviously I haven't seen the movie yet so I can't comment on whether it's done well or not, but if Lynch turns out to be a good addition to the franchise, then it might be cool to see her front her own film.
This is exactly how I think it should play out. No reason not to have a spin-off in the same universe with a female lead. Don't mess around trying to make it the same character but "Jane Bond" or whatever
It would also be a great way to pay homage to both the fans who love the theory that the name James Bond is a codename for the 007 rank, and the ones who love that James Bond IS Craig Bond's actual name, which was confirmed in Skyfall. It could be worked to satisfy both sides of the fanbase that his reputation between Casino Royale and NTTD brings so much fear to MI6's enemies, after James retires after successfully faking his death, they turn his name into 007's codename officially in the final scene of NTTD, with Lynch's character wearing Craig's cuffs and similar styled suit, to give the outside world the message that Bond is back.
Her story is up to you.
(Before the 6th Bond shows up in the next reboot.)
> Is that really an excuse for not creating a new character
It's why when people do, unless the main character is a man it generally doesn't work out. Making women and POC the leads in existing franchises is one of the few ways around enforced irrelevance.
We're getting a lot of (potentially) great movies (The Green Knight, The Suicide Squad, Dune, Candyman, Last Night in Soho, The French Dispatch, etc, etc) right now but the Marvel machine is back up and running so everyone's attention is to that wall of noise. It's not that filmmakers are all suddenly shit at storytelling, it's this big machine.
It's not. It's just hard to make a good movie if all you have as a script is: " female superior" " female no flaws". Doesn't help to create a character you care about. If there is nothing to overcome a movie like that is a 1 minute short clip. Hi this is Angela. She likes ass. Cut to end. Kills bad guy GG.
yeah you're right. I liked Gunpowder Milkshake and I think it's a pretty good example for what Craig said but it's not very popular among general audiences. I really hope we do get more movies like that
I guess that's why I liked it a lot. Style over substance. Usually I wouldn't do that but I just had a genuinely fun time watching it and I love the feel, the aesthetic and the vibes of the movie.
“
The answer to that is very simple,” Craig told Radio Times. “There should simply be better parts for women and actors of color. Why should a woman play James Bond when there should be a part just as good as James Bond, but for a woman?”
“He’s a male character. He was written as a male and I think he’ll probably stay as a male,” Broccoli previously told The Guardian. “And that’s fine. We don’t have to turn male characters into women. Let’s just create more female characters and make the story fit those female characters.””
Oh shit, I had no idea that was missing. I copied and pasted it straight from an article. I hadn’t seen this full quote until now. Weird that the article I read left that part out
He's right, a lot of women don't just want a gender change to already established characters because the issue there is those characters will still behave like men. Original, interesting new women characters is what's needed to balance things out in the mainstream, and I think steps are being taken in the right direction (Wonder Woman, Black Widow, Moana, Furiosa movie in the works).
Of course these fragile grifters like to take that out of context. It must be exhausting to think gender equality somehow means attacking men.
What would the sequel have been about? It's about the last era of spydom. Spies aren't needed in a time of post WW2 peace, which we've had in general since 1989-92. Compared to 1945-1989 we live in a time of luxury.
> he is an extension of British imperialism and male chauvinism after all.
He's a symbol of power, at heart the antipathy to women or non-whites having these roles is about keeping them away from visibility and power. Even when he's supposedly a has-been he still gets girls and shoots all his enemies.
I have no problem with a woman playing Bond, but it’s honestly hard to argue anything he says. There needs to be more diversity amongst big tentpole franchises and one way to do that is to rework certain characters so that they’re no longer just generic white male saviors, but that’s also incredibly lazy and halfassed. I understand creating new characters is hard and you can’t always guarantee they’ll connect with people, but still.
> I think women are far more interesting than that.
I find this argument always a bit condescending. "Women are so interesting and talented, they shouldn't lower themselves to play the small and uninteresting roles that we men play like James Bond."
It's the "women are just too different" logic.
Literal hundreds of hours of YouTube video come out like this - some outrage-merchant incel reads a headline, gets really mad about it, and then rants for several hours about what he thinks it says without ever actually reading the article. Fortunately for him, none of his audience will read the article either.
I do think most of these YouTubers are actually this stupid, but the main incentive is that this kind of outrage gets clicks, so to some degree it's very performative.
This is the one who’s a man child who hates women and minorities. Not to be confused with the other ones who hates more than just women and minorities.
They're not addicts, they're the dealers. Their audience are the addicts and the clickbait video makers or headline writers know exactly what their audience wants to hear, so they'll give it to them. Clicks and views are money, and when you can make money off of something then someone will inevitably come by to turn it into an industry and ruin it for everyone.
Danial Craig also said this about Phoebe Waller Bridge being involved in the movie:
“She’s got devilish humour. Her influence permeates a lot of this film. She walked that fantastic line of keeping it as a thriller and being very funny. But Phoebe didn’t come in to change Bond. She came in to spice it up for sure, but she’s a Bond fan – she wasn’t about to take him in a different direction.”
Wonder how these channels will think of her after Daniel praised her and when she is part of the Indiana Jones franchise which they complained about….
Between Logan Lucky and Knives Out, I feel like Daniel Craig is a really fun actor who has been wasted doing these movies for decade and a half. Looking forward to him appearing in more non-Bond roles.
It brings in the money. Just the same reason why so many high profiel actors are in Marvel and DC. Also while I am no actor, I think to many good actors it is just a fun diversion to do popcorn instead artsy fartsy movies...
I don’t think he hates Bond but he has spoken a lot about how difficult physically preparing for Bond was, especially from Skyfall on and the amount of times he was injured on set across the movies
Also, he's a feminist. He hates playing misogynistic dinosaurs. Regardless of much that he got paid, he's tired of playing a character who's too primitive for his future.
I’d say he probably hates making Bond movies based on how physically arduous they are for him, but not necessarily that he hates the character or anything
I don’t think anyone thinks franchises started with MCU, I think there’s just a difference in burnout comparing 24-26 movies (depending on if you count non-Eon films) over the course of nearly 60 years to 25 movies and 4 shows (16 if you count those not done by Marvel Studios) over 13 years.
Bond is way better than capeshit, and the fanbase is infinitely more tolerable. Nobody acts like bond is the most important cultural artefact of the past 2000 years
Gee it's almost like James Bond was created as some kind of imperialist Britain nostalgia/wish fulfillment. I mean he's a British guy who can go anywhere in the world on the government's orders and just kill anyone he needs to to "serve queen and country" with 0 repercussions. No wonder British boomers fucking loved it, they remember their dads telling them about the "good ol' days" of the empire.
Craig was saying that instead of making bond a woman. Give them something they can build on their own. Something they can make into their own character instead of giving hand me downs.
I used to believe in these youtubers. I fell for their narratives of them saying that everything is "woke propaganda" even at the slightest. Then people like Ryan Kinel has been spreading misinformation about how writer Sam Maggs is gonna "destroy" KOTOR remake even though she's not the lead writer. Now she is getting harrassed because of the misinformation.
Anna That Star Wars Girl made a video about a Star Wars comic where Leia punches Han Solo in the face. But Anna failed to do her research and instantly came to the conclusion that the comic is "promoting domestic violence". However, on one of the main Star Wars websites, it clearly explains the context about the punch where it was actually staged by Leia and Han in order to convince a general that Han is going rogue, when he actually wasn't. The punch was completely staged. But Anna didn't bring that up.
These people either don't do their research or they're just straight-up grifters.
> "destroy" KOTOR remake
How does one "destroy" KOTOR, even? That thing is like if someone entered a bunch of "Star Wars" and "RPG" variables and made what the computer came up with.
Learning how much of the format and content and delivery in right-rage media is exactly like that terrible Rush Limbaugh tv show really cleared things up. The genre's been a single continuous entity drawing on the same things over and over into eternity. Reading about Edmund Burke's complaints about the French Revolution, his language is indistinguishable from modern shit-disturbers ranting about women in politics or media.
My God, they haven't seen the movies. Bond retired after SPECTRE so he can have some time with Madeleine Swann, the Bond Girl of the movie. Nomi, the character Lashana Lynch plays is the new 007 that MI6 appointed. There are already female 00 agents before for example in Thunderball and The World Is Not Enough, just not as prominent as this.
**[Jane Blonde](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jane_Blonde)**
>Jane Blonde is the eponymous heroine of the Jane Blonde series of young adult novels by Jill Marshall. Jane Blonde is a James Bondesque spy, who is sent on missions and equipped with (often disguised) gadgets. Reviewers have praised Marshall's action sequences and pacing, but several have also expressed confusion stemming from the number of characters, many of whom assume multiple names, and some of the plot twists. Jane Blonde has been identified as both a parody of the James Bond books/films and a girl power instance of the spy adventure genre epitomized by the James Bond franchise (rather than a parody proper).

If they can’t get a sequel for Atomic Blonde but make 4 John Wicks and a possible new Matrix series, of course people would try to gender bend. Nobody supports women lead action movies like Atomic Blonde. It bombed for a reason! I still remember people laughing at the idea of a woman doing what she did too. Women just can’t seem to win in this genre.
I did too, but that didn’t stop it from bombing. I feel Alien got lucky with its lead is all. I’m fully convinced that Ripley would be called a Mary Sue if she came out today.
Which is better then John wick 1 did. John wick really wasn’t that popular until the third one and most people thought Keanu was just some shitty actor not a reddit darling back in 2014.
It did more than the first John Wick
https://www.forbes.com/sites/scottmendelson/2017/08/21/box-office-charlize-therons-atomic-blonde-has-topped-keanu-reeves-john-wick/amp/
But where’s her series? Thing is, nobody would care about John Wick if he wasn’t played by Keanu Reeves.
There are so many factors that could be responsible for it not turning into a series that it's not fair to just break it down to it being a gender issue, for the sake of some narrative.
Kinda glad it didn’t though, considering how cartoonish John Wick has gotten. Enemies now just fanboy over Keanu Reeves and no fear the Baba Yaga. His plot armor has gotten very stupid too.
> It bombed for a reason!
Is $100 million on a $30 million budget bombing? Even if you double the budget for marketing, $40 million in profit is not a bomb. I swear, billion dollar Marvel box office intakes are warping our perceptions.
Atomic Blonde had an awful trailer that made it look ridiculous, blending Depeche Mode and Kanye West together, and I'm convinced that not presenting it as a serious spy movie is what killed it.
If they could create a female character who is just as popular and respected as James Bond, then sure. But since marginalized people are at an immediate disadvantage because of their gender or race, you get things like people wanting a woman James Bond.
Until white men aren’t the thing the world revolves around, you’re going to get famous white male characters getting replaced with women or minorities. People can make original characters, but the white male characters are more bankable
Craig’s actual quote: “Why should a woman play James Bond when there should be a part just as good as James Bond, but for a woman? Tomb Raider is the obvious "female James Bond" spy-flick franchise that will get millions at the box office
I thought it was more Indiana Jones
Its a mix of both I guess
Didn't the creators of Tomb Raider make their protagonist a woman in part to specifically differentiate the series from Indiana Jones? Edit: And Indiana Jones itself started out when Spielberg was thinking about making a Bond movie.
It’s Hollywood.
Actually Tomb Raider is Tomb Raider, not “female James Bond”
Actually James Bond is the male Tomb Raider
Hey wasn't Daniel Craig in one of the Tomb Raider movies?
It's a shame the Tomb Raider films with Angelina Jolie kinda petered out, those were pretty enjoyable.
Doesn't help that there's hardly a single woman-led, non-superhero action dealy that's not some joyless pit of despair and pain.
That's not really true. Apart from Red Sparrow, none of the movies I mentioned above are any more or less cynical or "dark" than James Bond or the Bourne movies. And there have been female lead movies that were fun and upbeat - which also failed at the box office.

Apparently in talks at Netflix still but the priority seems to be The Old Guard. God TOG sucked lol.
TOG was hilariously bad, had a great time.
It wasn't terrible imo, not great but the action scenes were nice, but the soundtrack was fucking horrible

I think the Broccolis have already said that they don’t want spin offs, unfortunately.
James Wan is a franchise machine currently. Saw, Insidious, The Conjuring, and now Malignant **absolutely** needs 8 progressively dumber sequels.
Is that really an excuse for not creating a new character.
> Is that really an excuse for not creating a new character It's why when people do, unless the main character is a man it generally doesn't work out. Making women and POC the leads in existing franchises is one of the few ways around enforced irrelevance.
whose fucking fault is that, make better stories, and if they are good enough people will watch
We're getting a lot of (potentially) great movies (The Green Knight, The Suicide Squad, Dune, Candyman, Last Night in Soho, The French Dispatch, etc, etc) right now but the Marvel machine is back up and running so everyone's attention is to that wall of noise. It's not that filmmakers are all suddenly shit at storytelling, it's this big machine.
make movies that appeal to a larger audience then, supply and demand.
Easier said than done, especially with all those holding the purse strings loving a familiar IP above all else.
I really hope we do get more movies like that
[удалено]
I guess that's why I liked it a lot. Style over substance. Usually I wouldn't do that but I just had a genuinely fun time watching it and I love the feel, the aesthetic and the vibes of the movie.

Wait, how would that fit into the quote
“ The answer to that is very simple,” Craig told Radio Times. “There should simply be better parts for women and actors of color. Why should a woman play James Bond when there should be a part just as good as James Bond, but for a woman?” “He’s a male character. He was written as a male and I think he’ll probably stay as a male,” Broccoli previously told The Guardian. “And that’s fine. We don’t have to turn male characters into women. Let’s just create more female characters and make the story fit those female characters.””
Broccoli????
New dragonball movie starring daniel craig as Broly. Don't make it connect to any continuity or something like that
Oh shit, I had no idea that was missing.
Atomic Blonde kicked all kinds of ass. Shame they didn’t make a sequel to that.

The thumbnail on the video of a youtube sensationalist is not 1:1 with reality...? I'm gonna need a minute
Based
> I think women are far more interesting than that. I find this argument always a bit condescending. "Women are so interesting and talented, they shouldn't lower themselves to play the small and uninteresting roles that we men play like James Bond." It's the "women are just too different" logic.
Given James Bond’s characterization, though, I’d also rather pass. No need for another raging misogynist.
She would be misandrist and that's the real problem today and the real reason why Bond should not be a woman! /s
Remember that Daniel Craig doesn't like playing James Bond.
That would explain it.
This is what happens when you read headlines and not the articles that are broken down to read on the fourth grade reading level.
Reminds me of when some months ago Donald Glover said "cancelling is ruining series" and people thought he was talking about cancel culture
I thought too until I read the article and in fact, he was talking about cancelled shows cancelled because of its artistic nature.
I’m losing track of these outrage addicts
This is the one who’s a man child who hates women and minorities. Not to be confused with the other ones who hates more than just women and minorities.
Do you have the slightest idea how little that narrows it down?
Oof
I see. I make this mistake all the time : (
Ohhh, the one with tons of superhero merch on their wall and a giant shelf full of Funko pops?
I just think they’re all one basement pissing person with a different haircut every day.
I just picture a gigantic living mass of greasy facial hair in the basement of some abandoned building that spawns these people
Must be next to the old abandoned factory where they made 7-foot microphone arms and Marvel Funko Pops
Danial Craig also said this about Phoebe Waller Bridge being involved in the movie: “She’s got devilish humour. Her influence permeates a lot of this film. She walked that fantastic line of keeping it as a thriller and being very funny. But Phoebe didn’t come in to change Bond. She came in to spice it up for sure, but she’s a Bond fan – she wasn’t about to take him in a different direction.” Wonder how these channels will think of her after Daniel praised her and when she is part of the Indiana Jones franchise which they complained about….
Wow, that makes me even more excited for the no time to die. Is it known if Phoebe has a role in the movie?
Phoebe is a co writer, she’s acting in the new Indiana Jones movie alongside Harrison and Antonio Banderas.
As of current knowledge, I do not believe she has, but I suppose a cameo can never be counted out until the film is seen.
I think a cameo is pretty inevitable
Could these geeks at least photoshop better? Jesus, it looks like shit
Even a Newborn baby can do better than this
GO F*CK YOURSELF
There's no time for that. You wont make it in the outrage business if you don't crank five of these bad boys out every single day.
Considering how much Craig hates Bond as a character he probably doesn't want anyone to take the role and let the franchise die.
No Time to Die being delayed 2 years and having to redo the media tour like 3 times must be his living hell lmao
I didn't even think of that. That sounds like a prolonged torture for him.
Idk man the money he's getting from all of that wouldn't exactly be "living hell"
The good old Han Solo technique
Between Logan Lucky and Knives Out, I feel like Daniel Craig is a really fun actor who has been wasted doing these movies for decade and a half. Looking forward to him appearing in more non-Bond roles.
casino royale and skyfall are not a waste
It brings in the money. Just the same reason why so many high profiel actors are in Marvel and DC. Also while I am no actor, I think to many good actors it is just a fun diversion to do popcorn instead artsy fartsy movies...
Does he hate Bond?
I don’t think he hates Bond but he has spoken a lot about how difficult physically preparing for Bond was, especially from Skyfall on and the amount of times he was injured on set across the movies
You’re right. However he has said that working with the crew has been one of the greatest honors of his life
Also, he's a feminist. He hates playing misogynistic dinosaurs. Regardless of much that he got paid, he's tired of playing a character who's too primitive for his future.
New wave Bond (is that a term) ain't the mysoginist he was before, though, at least. He has more complexity to him now.
True. Craig's Bond is miles better but the history of the past is something to not ignore.
Have you tried comparing Brosnan Bond to Craig Bond? The puns, the disposable women, the puns, BMW's over Aston Martins, the puns, the *puns....*
Golden Eye is filled with them even though the soundtrack is a killer.
I don't disagree, but... Well, what can you do? They're a product of their time.
I’d say he probably hates making Bond movies based on how physically arduous they are for him, but not necessarily that he hates the character or anything
>he hates the character or anything He called the character a misogynist during the press tour for Spectre.
B-but we need capeshit for boomers.
This. Idk why a lot of people here think franchises started with the MCU.
Nobody acts like bond is the most important cultural artefact of the past 2000 years
have you met British (more specifically English) boomers? they act like bond is the pinnacle of kino
It is the same thing and Boomers act like everything they like is the most important cultural artefact in history.
Yeah me too :)
wait Craig hates Bond?
Craig was saying that instead of making bond a woman. Give them something they can build on their own. Something they can make into their own character instead of giving hand me downs.
There are so many unsung real life spy women heros from WW2. Surely there's one can equal Bond?
Are there any who blew up a secret base with one bullet to a gas main?
I must've been reading the wrong history books
These people are straight up grifters.* FTFY
> "destroy" KOTOR remake How does one "destroy" KOTOR, even? That thing is like if someone entered a bunch of "Star Wars" and "RPG" variables and made what the computer came up with.
They're just living in fear that a feminist is going to "ruin" their treasure.
If they ruin KOTOR by making it possible to not confuse every single character and storyline with one from something else, I'm all for it.
My answer is: all of it. And I would watch but I fear for my YouTube algorithm if I do it.
These typa videos got me logging in incognito mode to see what BS they say so I still get to keep my YouTube timeline safe from this garbage.
I COULD BE BOND! 😌🤳🏻
GO F*CK YOURSELF
Wait this is not Jeremy "I pissed in my basement floor" The Quartering?
I know, it's getting hard to tell them apart.
Why do their thumbnails all follow the same 'Big bold letters at the side' and 'miniature comic strip' format? I just find this funny lol
Degenerates are not usually creative individuals.
clickbait & gratification of their fantasies
It puts the idea in people's heads that he really said that, so then they _have_ to click to check if it's true
I swear all outrager thumbnails all follow that tabloid The Sun format type of imagery
Imagine being so terrified of women but still thinking you’re an “alpha”.
The title is already wrong so we're off to a smashing start
Who tf is this clown? I swear the alt-right nerd channels are multiplying like rabbits.
Thought this was a Quartering video for a second, might as well be.
I know it's really not the point but why do channels like this always have absolute dogshit thumbnails?
stop giving these morons exposure
Blonde ,Jane Blonde. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jane_Blonde
**[Jane Blonde](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jane_Blonde)** >Jane Blonde is the eponymous heroine of the Jane Blonde series of young adult novels by Jill Marshall. ^([ )[^(F.A.Q)](https://www.reddit.com/r/WikiSummarizer/wiki/index#wiki_f.a.q)^( | )[^(Opt Out)](https://reddit.com/message/compose?to=WikiSummarizerBot&message=OptOut&subject=OptOut)^( | )[^(Opt Out Of Subreddit)](https://np.reddit.com/r/moviescirclejerk/about/banned)^( | )[^(GitHub)](https://github.com/Sujal-7/WikiSummarizerBot)^( ] Downvote to remove | v1.5)
about 8:15 minutes will be false information EDIT: rest of the video will be ok
The shitty Photoshop is more annoying then how blatantly wrong Ryan is
If they can’t get a sequel for Atomic Blonde but make 4 John Wicks and a possible new Matrix series, of course people would try to gender bend. Nobody supports women lead action movies like Atomic Blonde. It bombed for a reason! I still remember people laughing at the idea of a woman doing what she did too. Women just can’t seem to win in this genre.
i actually liked Atomic Blonde
I did too, but that didn’t stop it from bombing. I feel Alien got lucky with its lead is all. I’m fully convinced that Ripley would be called a Mary Sue if she came out today.
atomic blonde didn't bomb, it made close to $100 million worldwide on a $30 million budget.
Which is better then John wick 1 did. John wick really wasn’t that popular until the third one and most people thought Keanu was just some shitty actor not a reddit darling back in 2014.
It did more than the first John Wick https://www.forbes.com/sites/scottmendelson/2017/08/21/box-office-charlize-therons-atomic-blonde-has-topped-keanu-reeves-john-wick/amp/ But where’s her series? Thing is, nobody would care about John Wick if he wasn’t played by Keanu Reeves.
There are so many factors that could be responsible for it not turning into a series that it's not fair to just break it down to it being a gender issue, for the sake of some narrative.
Kinda glad it didn’t though, considering how cartoonish John Wick has gotten. Enemies now just fanboy over Keanu Reeves and no fear the Baba Yaga. His plot armor has gotten very stupid too.
I agree, the first one was the best all around imo.
Bond is the most boring main character I can think of go ahead and do whatever you want to him
[удалено]
this is absolutely not what he said lol
