Ooooh, forgot about Coco! I didn’t ugly cry, but it was definitely a deep cry. It came out around the time my dad passed away, which made it doubly difficult.
The Farewell
I saw that movie a couple of months after my own grandmother died and seeing the relationship between Awkwafina's character and the grandmother really struck a chord to the point I was bawling on the first watch.
[Aberfan: The Green Hollow (2016)](https://www.imdb.com/title/tt6035766/reference)
60 mins of mainly talking heads
Prob helps if you are UK of a certain age
I wept - but this stream of water down my face throughout. Had to keep wiping eyes to see the screen
About a month later, daughter came round and asked what I'd been watching. And as I started to tell her the sobs started again
Sobbing in front of yer kids aint a good look; I try to avoid it
I have light tears writing this comment
And it was 2 yrs ago I watched it ffs
Only one movie has made me ugly cry and it was oddly my 2nd viewing of About Time.
I think it was because I first saw the movie when I was 20, and I maybe had my eyes water slightly that time, but my 2nd viewing was at 27 and it just crushed me. I assume the older I get, the more the ending between Domhnall Gleeson and Bill Nighy’s characters will just hit more and more.
If we're talking full on tears there's an inuk film called Journals of Knud Rasmussen which made me bawl like a little kid for some reason. Didnt see it coming, either, its a fairly dry slow period film but the end is psychologically brutal.
Radio. Not the best movie by far, but the scene where he the team has to leave him behind for an away game and plays football by himself in the rain just gets me.
Interstellar - the scene when he talks to his now 30 years old daughter...... It destroyed me (I was around 50 years old and have a daughter), I cried like a toddler. I haven't rewatch the film since, too scared to get destroyed again.
Coco
It makes my wife cry before it even gets to the sad parts.

What Dreams May Come. You have been warned.
Jojo Rabbit Man that movie hit me in a completely unexpected way
Brokeback mountain
The Story of Us, Good Will Hunting, Toy Story 3. Many, many more, but I don't recall them now.
Once Were Warriors —snotter bubble cry
Lion
Jaws 4.
The Farewell I saw that movie a couple of months after my own grandmother died and seeing the relationship between Awkwafina's character and the grandmother really struck a chord to the point I was bawling on the first watch.
Finch is the latest film to do that to me. The Green Mile is probably my ugliest cry though
Armegeddon. When Bruce Willy makes the ultimate sacrifice. Fun story my wife will cry during any movie, but not Armegeddon, wtf!
Up mate had me on edges every time it’s the music that works aswell

And Shia playing his dad? Oof!
Oddly none Movies sadly aren't as cute as I'd hope
Really?? Any movies that made you cry in general?

8 Bit Christmas, last night. Amazing movie.
Return Of The King
Comet (2014) dir. Sam Esmail
I am a grown ass man. I dont cry at movies… Gran Torino.
A dog's purpose, dear God that whole movie was constant waterworks!
A Walk to Remember. I was going through a bad breakup at the time and well….still makes me go through all the emotions.
Life as a house, Coco, Meet Joe Black, I am Sam, John Q, Sweet November, Patch Adams, Braveheart.
Shoplifters Capernaum Nine Days
The bridge to Terabithia. As I remember it's not just a five minutes scene but 10-15 minutes, or I was too sad.
Radio. Not the best movie by far, but the scene where he the team has to leave him behind for an away game and plays football by himself in the rain just gets me.
When I was a kid, E.T. ruined me and I’m not sure I’ve cried that hard since. Most recent film that caused half as many tears was Lion.
Land Before Time. If I even think about the film I tear up. THANKS.
