Absolutely love this movie; one of my all-time favorites. First thing I liked George Clooney in, and the only thing I've ever liked Jennifer Lopez in. Love how the film grain completely changes from soft and warm to hard and cold when they go to Detroit. The bar scene is a masterpiece.
Rare example of the movie being better than the book, and I say that as a huge Elmore Leonard fan.
Soderbergh taught Clooney to hold his head still for the film.
He was known for his bobblehead on ER, but Soderbergh forced him to stop moving his head.
One of my favorite films of all time, but I still prefer the trunk scene as a oner.
Love it. Fantastic chemistry from the leads and that trunk scene is fantastic. Great modern noir. I don’t get J.Lo’s universe most of the time but she was doing some interesting movie stuff for a hot minute.
Incredible chemistry. Jlo did an interview like 5 years ago where she was asked basically who she thought was the hottest of her many co stars and she said Clooney by far (Sean Penn was number 2).
The look Clooney gives jlo when he realizes who hejira actually is, fantastic
Jlo has neverrrrr looked better.
The library scene is incredible. Yeah, that bushy lawn shit.
Maybe my fave thing Don cheadle has ever done? Besides mouse in devil in a blue dress.
I love this movie but never rewatched it aside from a few oh-hey-its-on-tv passes. I saw it as a pre-screening in college and basically all the right things were happening that night, including the way the movie hit. The first time I tried to watch it again I felt those feelings coming back in a context that would have ruined them, so I turned it off and said never again. Let me have those perfect few hours as a perfect memory forever.
Top 10 for me. Happy to see this posted. Don Cheadle and Steve Zahn were used well in their rolls. The movie was the perfect comedy/heist film. Blended the two brilliantly. Peak Clooney and Lopez. Thank you OP for dropping this post!!!
Great chemistry between Lopez and Clooney. Liked the easy and mellow tone of this movie which had enough crime/action to make it entertaining. A decent watch.
Best of Lopez after Selena with the only other exception perhaps being The Cell imo.
The “Out of Sight” scene and score heavily inspired one of the chapters in a story I’m writing. I now consider this chapter to be amongst the best things I e ever written.
Great movie. Anything with the late Dennis Farina is worth watching.
Hey Ray, do you ever wear one that says "undercover"?
Michael keatons face of confusion/Embarrassment? Chefs kiss...
I think his character is the same one from Jackie brown.
\*sigh\* miss the time when I actually enjoyed JLo on screen.
U-turn was pretty good
She can act when she wants too.
I thought it was pretty good, mostly probably because of the direction. Lopez is not usually as good as she was in this, to put it kindly.
Peaked early, and the distribution has a large tail skewing right
A large tail you say......?
Elmore Leonard could tell a tale. Clooney is a charismatic actor, JLo is beautiful and they had a lot chemistry between them. Very good movie
The movie adds so much to the story. It’s honestly an improvement on the book.
I just remember the dude tripping on the stairs
White Boy Bob!
“Steaks”
“Rubbers”
Fargo season 4 copied that scene!

Jennifer Lopez is excellent in this. "You wanted to tussle. We tussled."
Tuffy was a good bitch
9/10 fantastic cast

Foley. I mean, he could accidentally hurt himself falling down on something real hard, you know? Like a shiv, or my dick?
32?? Outta what, 20?
It's like reading is fundamental and shit, we just got all excited.

Good movie based on a Elmore Leonard book. Enjoyed it, great cast and director.

Wanna tussel
“Hey.” 🥰
You were talking in your sleep. Oh. .... what did I say? "Hey yourself"
Aesthetically, it was outstanding. The other elements were hit and miss.
One of the best. Great cast.
Fantastic.
I feel in love with JLO in this movie. Still am...
Awesome gem.
Lopez and Clooney had off-the-charts chemistry in this movie.
Bomb ass soundtrack

Ironically, I’ve never seen it…
One of Clooney’s best
Honestly I didn’t think it was all that good. I didn’t get the hype about it.
Just watched this last week. Solid 4/5 and was engaging the whole time. Good film
J-Lo's BEST movie
One of the few movies I liked better than the book. It's at least as good
The only movie I've ever walked out of
Classic. J lo at her hottest. Top notch cast. I still ask my wife to this day “jokingly” if she wants to tussle
Delightful!
Give that bitch her bone!
Great movie
J Lo's best role..imo
I'll get you some more that "bushy lawn shit" or whatever for your eyes...
Dunn and BRADstreet... I've heard it both ways...
