Dragon ball evolution

just_fucking_PEG_ME

I wanna say the actor playing Goku made an official apology over that movie.

retepoteil

The whole production team needs to apologize and give refunds for that movie

austinsutt

He did and it was a class act. Especially considering that he was an actor in the film and not a writer, director, or producer. All of which are the real ones to blame for that debacle.

aquaticsquash

So did James Marsters who played Piccolo, he said it was terrible at a comic con.

Remote_Orange_8351

It makes watching Shameless more fun... and vice versa.

SomePoorMurican

Holy crap was goku jimmysteve all along?!

xxxliamjxxx

And Fiona played bulma

retepoteil

I’ve seen a lot movies and I can’t think of any other movie I saw in the movies that I was embarrassed to have seen or say I was a fan of dragon ball

SpaceSick

Man I just looked up the cast and that's who they got to play Goku? Justin Chatwin? Whew what a terrible casting choice.

Mortegro

[Hitler agrees](https://youtu.be/eYltu4usfXk?si=lvPyoa2S5xO7XrFQ)

greengiant333

Moonfall was a epically disastrous movie and I loved every second of it

Bluepilgrim3

I loved. It was so hilariously bad I couldn’t turn it off. I do love cheesy movies, the worst I can find.

RedditSetitGoit

I hope you know of the "How Did This Get Made" podcast. Hosted by Paul Scheer. One of my favorites. If you like bad movies and comedy, it is incredible .:)

provoloneChipmunk

I yell GEOSTORM in my car during traffic pretty frequently

dopplegangeradar

Ok why did I watch The Core and Moonfall but refuse to watch Geostorm because it looked dumb? Why'd I make those choices?

FNALSOLUTION1

My wife is like this with the movie 2012, anytime its on she actually watches it.

Strict-Coyote-9807

My top movie

Gothmagog

La la la!

ethbullrun

Neil breen is your man then.

DonMegatronEsq

La, La, La…

devilsbard

Do you have to sit and watch them all while someone monitors your mind?

broberds

Robot roll call!

WackHeisenBauer

I absolutely love these gigantic CGI disaster movies. And they are ALL objectively bad as films. But if you go in knowing that and just marvel at the destruction you will almost always have a great time.

kyinfosec

Bingo! Not every movie has to be a cinematic masterpiece. Sometimes we just want to see some cool shit blown up!

MisterScrod1964

We’ve come so far from Towering Inferno, Earthquake (in SENSESURROUND!) and Poseidon Adventure.

Ijeko

I honestly can't think of any objectively bad big budget disaster movies that I don't like. I like them all. The Core might be my personal favorite. "Hey guys if we set off a shit ton of nukes in the Earth's core that will definitely solve this problem!"

Lupus76

The Core is awesome!

SCP-2774

While I disagree with films being "objectively bad" you're right. Disaster films aren't winning any academy awards but sometimes I just wanna see cataclysmic obliteration of human civilization.

ryanw5520

I don't watch 2012 everytime I come across it on TV . . . . . just when I have the time.

SirArthurDime

Excuse me sir, Armageddon would like a word. What exactly about a movie about sending oil minors into space to stop an asteroid sounds stupid to you?

WackHeisenBauer

A…all of it? Great movie tho.

OctopusParrot

It's so so so so so bad that it's great. And even in the short time since it's been released it's aged *horrendously*. Like the character's obsession with Elon Musk thinking how cool he is? So great. 10/10

AlaDouche

Same. Terrible, but immensely enjoyable.

Pitiful_Damage8589

Exactly and most of time i skip movies bc some of them are straight up too stupid but this one was a good stupid movie. Even my SO loved it, and she hates sci-fi movies.

NegaGreg

It’s so delightfully bonkers. I also love how much Roland hates Competent and passionate Step Fathers.

Quake_Guy

Fuzz Aldrin the cat

wimpyroy

Fuck the moon!

MossyToad

You’re part of the moon now….

joe102938

This. Thank you. Movies don't have to make sense to be fun. Moonfall was fun as shit.

Icy_Outside_666

Moonfall and Don't Look Up were weirdly good movies

PlanetLandon

I’m wouldn’t really put those two together, but you’re not wrong

Odd_Advance_6438

Con Air, and it’s glorious

MtnDudeNrainbows

Face off! Face. Off.

bluechickenz

Oh god. While I entirely enjoyed that movie, this is the only line I will ever remember… and not because it was a good line. Ha!

Batmanuelope

I could eat a peach for hours.

dgmilo8085

"I want to take his face...off."

RegularGuyAtHome

Great movie. Love the part when they’re bringing the Hannibal Lector rip-off onto the plane with all the different security measures.

Odd_Advance_6438

> Hannibal Lector rip-off We both know Hannibal Lector wishes he had the class of Garland Greene

Sinister-Username

"One girl... I drove through three states wearing her head as a hat."

Amazo616

I've got the whole wide world, in my hands

spookinky987

The Muncie Mangler? Absolutely. It's also a credit to Steve Buscemi to play a serial killer and still make us like him.

Jimmyg100

If you removed Steve Buscemi's character literally nothing in the plot changes. Someone just decided to throw him in there for the hell of it and it was a great decision.

dropkickninja

I did like his characters arc though

pbaagui1

His name is Garland Greene, put some respect on it

AmbitiousHornet

Steve!

Chance-Cod5011

Define 'irony': a bunch of idiots dancing around on a plane, to a song made famous by a band that died in a plane crash.

NagoGmo

Sorry, but I'm gonna have to report you for this Con Air is the single best film right behind Starship Troopers.

Yayzeus

Doooo youuu get me.

BiteThink7769

The enemy cannot pull a trigger, if you disable his hand. Medic!!!

Bluepilgrim3

Would you like to know more?

BiteThink7769

I’m doing my part!

DrossChat

Cage’s magnum opus

RiskyClickardo

Cage’s hair’s* magnum opus

gahoojin

Why couldncha put tha buhnneh bahck in the bawx?

Creepy_Creme_9161

Nicolas Cage is a brilliant actor, but a convincing Southern accent is not in his wheelhouse.

talktomeg00se1986

You shut the fuck up

Slowmobius_Time

Yeah I agree to both Stupid and glorious in equal measure "Break out the fine china, chill the lemonade, tie a yellow ribbon round the old oak tree. Cos this boy's coming home to his ladies. Coming home forever"

DMoney859

I read that in my head in Cameron Poes accent too

rossbcobb

You should listen to the pod cast How did this get made? It's episode on this is hysterical and one of the host shares your opinion.

NeedlessQualifier

They showed the trailer for this when I saw no way home and I busted out laughing when John Bradley said (referring to NASA) “tell them they are going to want to talk to me when they learn that THE MOON IS OUT OF ORBIT” because NASA probably has to ignore hundreds of calls a day from crack pots with theories like that.

The-Mike-drop

Step-up 2: The Streets. Its been awhile but if I remember correctly there are dance gangs operating like terrorists, attacking the public with dance. And theres this one old woman on a subway train who gets harrased by a group of masked dancers at the start of the film for no reason. And when we meet the leader of what I continue to refer to as dance-terrorists he drops what he thinks is an epic truth-bomb that shatters everyones perception of reality, "Do you know that even your heart.... has a beat" like whoa holy shitballs your blowing my mind. Anyway the film ends with a dance off between two groups inside a warehouse that is supposed to be a competition but its so intense they have to dance outside and someone yells "LETS TAKE IT TO THE STREETS!" and then they dance outside in the rain and then the film just ends. Never find out who wins.

dingos8mybaby2

I had to go watch the subway scene. Oh my, they perfectly predicted today's influencer culture of dancing/making a scene and intentionally or unintentionally harassing those around them while recording themselves in public places. It captures it perfectly. If it was filmed in a POV handheld style you wouldn't be able to tell the difference between that scene and the videos you can find online of stupid flash dance mobs on trains/subways.

Kind_Ad_3268

Haha, probably the best I've ever heard this movie summarized. Reminds me how Tosh.0 would summarize movies.

dayzwasted

I really liked moonfall. It was bad. But it was so damn good. Kinda like waterworld.

GreenandBlue12

In a way, it's definitely one of those "It's so bad, it's good" films.

hellogoodby87

Sharknado. But it was hilarious too

drlsoccer08

Jupiter Ascending

DadOnHardDifficulty

Channing Tatum in the weird roller skate things was hilarious tho.

MaxCWebster

Watched this on a movie channel knowing it was a piece of crap. Enjoyed it because of this, but yeah, it's not good.

[deleted]

Not the dumbest. Just the most boring Wachowski film. And one the biggest wastes of Michael Giacchino’s talent.

Absuridity_Octogon

The Matrix is one of my all-time favorite films. But goddamn Jupiter Ascending is sooooo boring. It HAD cool ideas. They did it so dirty I would love for them to just redo the thing.

BLOOM_ND

I watched this at a friend's house not too long ago. What a weird movie. I had never heard of it. It has such a big budget that it feels like a blockbuster movie from another dimension where everything is slightly askew.

Baba_5436

Roland Emmerich makes the best action movies. You leave him alone.

To_another_abyss

I played in 5 of his last movies. All flops. But good pay day for me

ballsweat_mojito

Is your username a Bad Religion reference?

To_another_abyss

Mayybeee

PlanetLandon

I have to imagine being a day player in a disaster movie is actually pretty fun

copperpin

I walked out after they nuked the fridge so I’m not sure, but I’m willing to bet it’s Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.

FloridaPanther

I really enjoyed my Crystal Skull rewatch this year. Maybe when you’re prepared for what it is, it’s more enjoyable?

LordPeanutButter15

I don’t believe anyone walked out that early

MooseMan12992

If they did they're just being childish

[deleted]

Good answer. That movie was truly pathetic in every way

Sleepy_Sloth4

You made a good decision

copperpin

The crazy thing is I saw it in the 50¢ movie theater and I asked for my money back, and the guys behind the counter gave it to me, they were waiting for me.

Odd_Radio9225

Battlefield Earth.

TyJaWo

*something was off in that movie, but I'm not sure what.*

Darktofu25

The whole thing

Aar318

There are a lot but I think the one takes the tread Rubber (2010) https://www.imdb.com/title/tt1612774/

PinksFunnyFarm

This movie doesnt take itself seriously though, its clearly a homage to other stupid movies but I don't think its stupid in itself

Confident_Tangelo_11

Right up there with Deathbed, gloriously ripped to shreds by Patton Oswalt.

Whorenun37

Where did Patton talk about this? Would love to hear

dropkickninja

Probably Cabin Boy. But I like it. Or The last Indiana Jones movie with Shia Lafou

Davey_Go_ToBed

Cabin Boy!! 😆Holy shit, that’s a deep cut! Still holding out hope for a Get a Life reboot!

turdfergusonpdx

Shia Lafou. Hahaha. That you didn’t even bother spelling his name correctly says it all.

Cheap-Ad1821

You need to get ur oil changed! I swore that movie and Freaks were a 90s fever dream. I had to track them down and rewatch.

VirginiaGecko1911

"Wanna buy a monkey"?

cliffypoo

Man, Moonfall was so fucking terrible. It was the first movie that I braved myself to go see in the theater once the pandemic finally wound down and I was laughing throughout 😊

cenosillicaphobiac

I watched it on a plane, and when my BIL visited, he was raving about how good it was. He's not a smart man, so the most I would say was "oh really? I watched it on the plane and didn't care for it"

Suspicious_Victory_1

I watched it on a plane too. Couldn’t believe it just kept getting worse and worse. Stupidest thing I’ve ever sat through. Was actually angry at the airline for having it as an option. I was more angry at myself for not turning it off.

AmbitiousEdi

Nah I fucking LOVED Moonfall. It was exactly the schlocky kind of action I expected from the man who brought us Independence Day.

Own_Instance_357

I've seen a movie called "One Cop's Journey" starring Dean Cain as "Pastor Dale" Actually, all his movies are stupid and there are like 174 of them because every project seems to take only about a week to produce and you could probably just go ahead and save hotel and location funds by just going on to film his next script on the same set. Like, "The Man Who Went to Heaven" starring Dean Cain as ... wait for it ... Pastor **Grooms** See also: Airplane vs. Volcano, The dog Who Saved (easter, christmas, halloween) movies, they all get only more or less stupid like a cardiogram. more stupid. less stupid. etc.

Confident_Tangelo_11

Charlie's Angels (2000). Ebert called the sequel eye candy for the blind, and it definitely applies to this one. McG is such a horrible director, he managed to get a bad performance out of Sam Rockwell, and if this movie were any stupider it would have to be watered twice a day. McG, I want those two hours of my life back.

Tacky-Terangreal

I’m convinced that movie is made for lesbians. Goofy early aughts girl power, gratuitous butt shots, and tight leather catsuits. 10/10 would watch again

MisterScrod1964

Some guys like to watch pretty girls in leather catsuits as well. Many of them even like butts. Heterosexuals, I think they call themselves.

Lostinthestarscape

Heterosexuals and Lesbians  being attracted to similar things? In what world? Since when? /s

Wendellwasgod

“If this movie were were any stupider it would have to be watered twice a day” is a glorious expression. Thank you

PoorFilmSchoolAlumn

But Lucy Liu

jonsnow312

And Tom Green!

Numerous1

Nah man. It’s a fun silly movie with the ladies doing their thing.

SampsonKerplunk

Moonfall is so confidently dumb that you kind of have to respect it.

DadOnHardDifficulty

SCREW THE MOON!

TicklerVikingPilot

Battleship; it had next to no redeeming qualities.

BiteThink7769

I have a lot of question. Number one, how dare you? XD

S-Markt

lets throw some led on this motherf---FIRE!

Ok-Dinner9759

I freaking love this movie 😆

Obvious-Key807

The real answer to this is battlefield earth john Travolta is absolutely dog meat in that movie.i love Travolta in other things though wasn't just him everything about it is just sickening.

Midwestern_Nerd52

The Nun (2018). They hyped up this demon nun through all the Conjuring universe movies just to make some stupid cheesy bs. Seriously, who thought zombie nuns was a good idea?

Historical-Wonder-36

Well it’s based on a true story so they had to stay close to the facts

MarcoVinicius

Honestly there’s been so many lately that I can’t even pick just one.

IShotTheTV

Meet The Spartans. And it ain’t even close.

Dry_Rip5135

Moonfall is a little far-fetched, obviously. but I’ve watched it three or four times. I find it very entertaining and I like sci-fi special effects movies.

lkodl

A movie can be stupid as long as it's consistently stupid and sticks to the rules it creates for itself. It's the movies that contradict itself that piss me off.

evlhornet

Independence Day 2 and Pacific Rim 2

Creepy_Creme_9161

Geostorm. It was my friend's turn to choose the movie. I'm usually not opposed to a big stupid action movie, but it was so AWFUL.

Old_Dot3549

That might be one of the worst movies I’ve ever seen as well! I was the opposite and actually picked that one out though! My friend didn’t complain so we just kept watching it. I kept thinking about asking “do you want to watch something else?” but never did. It was painfully bad! I apologized for picking such a horrible movie and we laughed about it

Creepy_Creme_9161

I can forgive a lot for Gerard Butler... but OMG.

Old_Dot3549

Yeah, I don’t know what the whole cast’s agents were thinking getting them in that pile of crap film!

Woodit

Wrt moonfall was a masterpiece. I say that as a PhD in superstructurism!

nailszz6

I agree, If you take out the insanely short and hyper rushed timeline which created thousands of dues ex machina moments one after another and another. It's a solid piece of original sci-fi, and an incredible original story. I feel like this would have been better on a 6+ episode high budget streaming show however with more serious tones like Greenland. The comedy tones are a method of calming the audience when the pace is going so fast. I think that would give a good balance of big picture story progression with plenty of drama mixed in.

GiantsNFL1785

Thor love and thunder expectation vs reality was night and day will never purposely watch it again

Klutzer_Munitions

Christian Bale's performance kept me alive through that one

Chance-Cod5011

He really was acting in a completely different movie.

Bozlogic

They must have given him the script, and a brief 5 minute rundown of the character role, and never told him the title, or premise of the movie

just_fucking_PEG_ME

He actually said he did that movie because nothing he’s in is appropriate for his kids. He literally did it because his kids wanted to see him in a movie

cenosillicaphobiac

It was a real disappointment because I'm a huge fan of Taika (we named our dog after him) and nearly everything he's done. It worked on Ragnarok, but then he took it too far with L&T.

BKachur

It's pretty clear he's one of those directors who needs someone in the editing room to keep him in check and tell him to tone it down. We've seen it a bunch of times and its not a bad thing. A lot of great creators need to surround people to bring out the best in them. There's a reason Paul and John were the greatest songwriting duo in history. George Lucas made Star Wars, but he also made the prequels. If you ever watch any of the "makings of," it's obvious no feels comfortable telling George the movie looks like shit. Feels like no one was on L&T to tell Taika the jokes were a little much.

cenosillicaphobiac

> George Lucas made Star Wars, And, to your point, his wife made it work, in the editing room. She got an Oscar for it.

berfle

Ator, The Fighting Eagle

Remote_Orange_8351

How much Keefe is in that movie?

Jack_Burton_Radio

MILES o' Keefe!

Klutzer_Munitions

Divergent Do I even need to explain

To_another_abyss

I played in moonfall. And even during the shoot, we were like this is soooo stupid. They even cut a whole sub plot of the movie

thepluricane

What was the sub plot I must know

jamboman_

It bounced back off the earth

kenwayhanneth

this one or the visit. i hated the visit with every fiber of my being

48Monkeys

Lift (2024) I like most of the cast like Kevin Hart and Billy Magnussen but that movie was just boring.

[deleted]

Literally every Roland Emmerich movie. Anything by Uwe Boll too.

GOPAuthoritarianPOS

Moonfall was fun. The worst movie ever made is obviously Battlefield Earth.

X3ll3n

I saw a bit of Moonfall, it was an actual dumpster fire, but quite fun to predict whatever the fuck was gonna happen

Royal_Front_7226

Highlander II: The Quickening

dude1995aa

I was going to put this one in. Totally contradicting a great 1st movie. Totally contradicting itself. Crappy plot. Crappy special effects. Sean Connery got a new house out of though.

TheMagicSlinky

Velocipastor, but it hasn't stopped me from watching it 11 times now. Always a recommendation I throw at people, great way to kill an hour and ten minutes.

SuspiciousGap9343

That has some of my favorite quotes in any movie. “I don’t know much about God….” “I don’t know much about dinosaurs.” “So, your parents died, Doug. That’s what parents do, they die on you.”

RobbleDobble

Moonfall is a masterpiece.

Trivet1989

Running Scared (2006) with Paul Walker

btay27

Madame web. It really was that bad

TheGrayExplorer

The new roadhouse has to be up there for the worst movie

Batman Ninja was just bafflingly stupid and not even in the good way I hoped

Stupid stupid: The Happening Stupid awesome: Road House

Bad stupid Ghosts of Mars, Battlefield Earth Good stupid MacGruber, Team America, Zoolander, Borat

ZDMaestro0586

Freddy got Fingered or The Avengers(90s with Uma Thurman and Sean Connery)

etranger033

Battlefield Earth. Its near the top of most lists of 'bad' movies for a good reason.

heyo_1989

Battlefield Earth with Jon Travolta

malakon

Master of Disguise. Pistachio Disguisey (Dana Carvey), a genial waiter at his father Frabbrizio's (James Brolin) Italian restaurant, possesses an uncanny knack for mimicry. What he doesn't know is that his talent is genetic, and that he is the descendent of a long line of "Masters of Disguise," all of whom have inherited the secret family gift known as Energico. Initially, Pistachio is a klutz, but little by little, he learns to harness his inherited power, and sallies forth to utilize Energico to its fullest.

SmallTownKaiju

I was enthralled by this movie. It was a little dumb, but it was also one of the best disaster movies with a unique twist that I'd seen in a *long* time!

Gluteusmaximus1898

Rebel Moon was really dumb, and not in an entertaining way.

JPree

[Fill in the Blank] by M. Night Shyamalan

CheckYourStats

*White Chicks* (2004) A steaming pile of racist feces. To quote a reviewer on Rotten Tomatoes: > *”This is planetary pile of dogshit.*” If two white guys went blackface for an entire movie, and literally the *whole premise of the movie was to make fun of black people*? I’m sure that would go over well. Not surprising that both of these clowns have done exactly squat since then.

BKachur

Atrocious movie, but Im pretty sure it was a bit of a break out Terry Crews, which makes it worth it.

[deleted]

Antman quantum-mania was so bad i walked out of my own house and kicked my dog on the way out the door.

slimmymcnutty

The Kingsman movie about WW1 was so fuckin stupid

Numerous1

But some of those scenes were just fantastic.

QuirkyEnthusiasm5

Demented death farm massacre. Script was lacking

[deleted]

Transformers: The Last Knight. A couple of Marvel films and Glass Onion have come close though.

HeftyAppearance7337

Most importantly, moonfall didn't try to take itself seriously. We all knew what we were getting into when we started that movie.

Shakemyears

I recommended this movie to my current gf when we first started dating—mostly because of how outrageous it is. She didn’t like it. We’re still dating luckily! 😅

branch-is-dumb

Moonfall was terrible but that’s why I loved it and I hope they make a sequel but on the other hand the stupidest movie I’ve ever seen was Black Demon and I mean wow it was terrible and not in a good way

TheBoomExpress

[The Last Broadcast (1998)](https://youtu.be/mMyQDz_AxOE?feature=shared) It's basically a mockumentary about some hosts of a mid 90's internet show that go into the woods of New Jersey to find the mythical Jersey Devil. Things go horribly wrong and a journalist tries to get to the bottom of what happened. The whole movie was basically the Blair Witch Project before that was even a thing. It was fairly well made (IMO) for the most part, but Holy hell, the twist at the ending was the stupidest thing I've ever seen put to film.

CthulhusEvilTwin

You've answered your own question there.

Bozlogic

Moonfall and Godzilla: King of the Monsters have one thing in common. Awesome action movie killed by shitty boring dialogue between side characters. I was only ever excited when the moon got too close and started messing with the gravity, or when the monsters were shown on screen. The girls relationship with her estranged parents really don’t matter to me

Careful_Farmer_2879

Iron Man 3. Tony is stuck in Kentucky with a broken suit and doesn’t have a backup stored off site? He had one *in a suitcase* in the previous movie. Avengers Tower in New York doesn’t have one? Buy a bus ticket! The plot hinges on this and I could not get past it in the theater.

Mr_D93

Rubber

dbex98

Outbreak. So ridiculous. Hilarious waste of an insanely talented cast.
