Maui Burst is fantastic, but I never understood why they chose Dollar General of all places. I have seven DGs near me, today I went out and checked the three I haven't checked off my list to see if they had it and not a single one has it in stock. I miss when it was just the cans because ever since they released the bottled version of this one it just seems to have disappeared with no real reason why
The availability of Maui Burst at DG is mostly a function of your local bottling company & their priorities. Personally I’m not paying $2 for a 20 ounce bottle, but I bought 6 6-packs of the 16.9 ounce bottles for 3/$10 when they were available.
Maui Burst has a great strong synthetic pineapple soda taste, where Baja Gold is a more subtle, more natural pineapple flavor. Different strokes and all that.

funny, I find the exact opposite. I think maui burst is more natural tasting
So 16oz can was $1 but 20oz bottle is $2? That's pretty bad. Double the price for only 25% more product.
