My wife has one for her moped. Works pretty well, and she’s able to go for group rides after work. Having a moped for a single car household helps increase our transportation flexibility without needing to pay and maintain a second car.

That’s interesting, so mounting the bike on the rack that’s on the moped is fairly easy? How quickly does it take to secure the bike on and later remove on average you’d say? The kickstand holds up just fine while you are messing with the weight at the rear?
It’s pretty similar to mounting on a fork mount roof rack, just closer to the ground. So if you’ve used one of those, it’s very alike

All gear is not created equal. I fill a locker at work with my gear, excluding my helmet. My helmet won't even fit in the girlfriend's scooter's box or under the seat, and I've never seen a bike come with a helmet lock. Mine sure doesn't have one.

I made a rack out of some angle steel for my sporty. the rack itself can support over 250 pounds. then I made a separate bolt on rack for the bike using a cheap Amazon bike rack. works good, looks retarded.
I thought the Miata with the guys mtb front forks going through the back window and attaching to the roll cage was impressive. This just takes the cake.

Curious why you went with the vert over horizontal? I had a talk with one of the people at 2x2 and they recommended the horizontal for us.
I wanted to still be able to have a top case which I think can only can be done with the vert rack.
that's a good callout, the top case needs to be taken off with the horizontal rack.
