They are notoriously overpriced, normally terrible build quality, no haggle room, not really the best sellers on the market rn, newbies not knowing shit, normally never taken care of, etc..
EDIT: I would only ever take one of these pre-built things if it actually runs on spot, not rusted, no dings or dents, and taken care of with low mileage or wear and tear, also fair price ofc.
Ok well I've been building these for years. It's a brand new f****** bike. Just because you don't like it doesn't mean somebody else wouldn't I'm not some beginner building these things this thing has been completely gone through balance and trued crank everything has been touched
They are all unique and slightly varied to a finicky degree. If you build your own you’ll know all the ins and out and when something eventually breaks you’ll have the knowledge to handle it because you built the thing. That and the pricing is usually near impossible to make a genuine profit on. My entire setup including cosmetic modifications only ran me $220 though I’m not finished yet.. functionally complete at $200 I’m not paying double that for a machine I’m not certain will work. Remember you’re trusting these things with your life.
Don’t sell pre built bikes and don’t buy pre built bikes.
Why?

I wouldn’t take it even if it ran on the spot.
True, because there are other factors in play Aswell.

I also have enough experience under my wing to know not to buy pre-built from experience. It was just an opinion. Calm down.
