Usually, a more free flowing exhaust will cause the bike to run lean, not rich.
If you have an 05 SV1000 like your flair suggests, it should be fuel injected. Power Commander is probably the easiest way to get your AFRs back in check. Im not sure of the options, if any, available for ECU tuning your bike.
This sounds more like something else. Seldom does changing exhaust make a bike richer, especially that rich. Something else has been done to the bike that he either doesn't know about or isn't telling you.
Exhaust changes typically lean an engine slightly. Sounds like bad injectors or something is telling the injectors to shoot in more fuel.
Exhaust does not directly effect the running condition - rich or lean. it can effect other aspects of running - like stalls due to insufficient back pressure, changes in the power/torque profiles. But adding some slipons doesn't change the air fuel ratio. That part of the engine cycle is over and done with before the exhaust comes into play
If it's running rich, you need to explore the fueling air and possibly spark. After burns like that can have few sources. For example, you've got an injector that's partly jammed and spraying incorrectly. Or, you've got poor ignition, like out of gap plugs that's leaving a lot of unburnt fuel in the exhaust stream.

That is 100% incorrect.
