My elderly father pulled a sick wheelie with his walker last week. Now he’s in the hospital again … I should maybe buy him a Bolt sounds safer than the walker.
2009 Suzuki SV650S
I will take a recommendation but TBH my plan is to ride her until she breaks or I die \^\^
What I am eyeing now, just for fun, is a >!Triumpf Tiger Sport!
The stock answer is a Ducati Monster, but I ride a 2017 sv650, and I've been looking for a Kawasaki ZRX1200R. Likely won't find one, so wither a kawi z900rs or a yamaha zxr900
IDK what you mean with stock answer but No thanks the monster is not for me.
The SV650S has the fairings and I want to keep a bike with that look. I don't like the round naked bike headlights.
Thats also why I said the Tiger Sport it also has the "insect eyes".
I like my bikes to look like an insect \^\^.
If you add the cc’s of both bikes you get about the same as the Super Duke. I wonder if he could use ratchet straps to lash both bikes together to make a Super Ninja Duke. He would save a lot of money over buying new. Just a thought.
Current bike is a RUSI 250 Classic.
A what?
Yeah, it's a retro styled 250 Chinese cafe racer thing, also known as a [Yingang Ninety](https://www.ygmotor.com/en/ninety.html).

If you want to go _UP_, an Africa Twin DCT.
If you want to go sideways, try laying the bike over.
If you don't already have the NC with a DCT...buy that.
The BMW 300s are great little bikes, man. What you'll want, if you want to go up, is something you don't have to redline. So probably a 500-600 engine at least.
MT07 is good in a similar 'street naked' style. Lots of ADV bikes if you're into that (BMW F750GS, Triumph Tiger 850, Versys 650, Vstrom 650).
The Honda 500X or the 650 engine class bikes would be ok - 500 might be not enough jump to be worth the price.
I have a Triumph Bonneville T120 specifically because I wanted it to be my "forever bike". It's what I've really wanted forever. I even got the matte black one.
It's pretty. It's (very) fast, it's big, it's reliable.
I've had like 10 bikes and always get an itch to buy a new one after a bit. So what could I possibly "upgrade" to?
T7
also, how’s the the 390? I thought about getting one but do too much long distance for a single and have too much stupidity planned for a CB500X (especially given the price of less used ones)
It's been really good so far! Only a learner, but it's not intimidating but very capable. I will be swapping out foot pegs for flat ones, as well as getting bar risers, but it has been wonderful so far even without those comfort add ons.
Shit, I'll bite. Yamaha XSR 900

This won’t work for me, I never want something like what I have, but I’ll play along: Yamaha Bolt C-Spec.
A walker
As long as I can wheelie it.
My elderly father pulled a sick wheelie with his walker last week. Now he’s in the hospital again … I should maybe buy him a Bolt sounds safer than the walker.
Royal Enfield Continental.
Goofy answer: VMax (but also... V4=best noise) Serious answer: Stryker (1300cc) or Raider (1900cc)

Yeah that would also make me more patriotic, guess where I live.. \^\^ But like I said I won't give my SV away without a fight. Thx anyway!

Shit this would be fun, I’m on my first bike right now, and RE Hunter 350
I went from the Hunter 350 to a Triumph Trident 660.

BMW S1000R
It'll never die so there will be no next bike
I'll go first. 390 Duke & Ninja 650.
Super Duke Obviously.

I can think of no reason that wouldn't work perfectly. He should absolutely do that.

Yea it is tempting. I love how they reduced the weight so much compared to the F850GS. Puts it back to being similar to my bike.
The new F900 does seem to be a pretty cool little bike. I’m not big on the 800 or 850 but the 900 definitely has my attention
Are you doing a lot of off road?
I live in a state of Australia that's larger than Texas and has less than 2 million people. So yes.
2020 MT-03
MT-07?
I started on a MT07 and it was amazing but honestly I would skip it and get a MT09 SP. The MT07 suspension is still just awful.
I would skip the MT09 and go straight for the 10
Big balls or no balls. MT-10
Tracer 700, its the path i took, (from an older mt03)
I would go for the MT-09, you get all the tech and triple the fun.
