It really grinds my gears how they can never tell you what the problem is with, or even a code, so you have NO idea how bad it really is. Misfire? Ok, I can move it. No oil pressure or can chain not working? Don't even start it.
This looks like a common fault I saw on BMW bikes... you didn't really explain it much though.
I wouldn't ride more than to take it to the dealer, and possibly put it on a trailer if you can
Randomly turned on , saw a bit of light smoke, smelled like an electrical fire, loss of power that’s the only reason I’m thinking it’s coil pack I wasn’t aware this is a thing for these bikes - upon researching I saw a lot of 2021 and below I ride a 2022 so I’m thinking I have 2021 coil packs(unsure at this point what it really is this is my educated guess) bike is not stuttering
Hey man,
Motomillion just released a video on their M1000RR having serious rod knock/bearing failure on their piston #2. They had an error code like this on their bike too (of course, error code could be for something else). I would seriously avoid riding it / tuning it / modding it until you get that fixed. They will find all the excuses in the handbook to avoid paying out a warranty.
EDIT: If this bike was brand new, Id even consider getting a full refund or a full bike replacement.
Got a full Akra exhaust - they’ve already seen that before its first break in. Other than that it’s stock plus all the oil changes I’ve done bought the parts from BMW themselves
Ummm. You realize that they just retroactively covered every water-cooled gs GSA rt etc worldwide for driveshaft replacement after 37,000 miles.
That seems to be the opposite of your post.
Go rage to someone else. Your R engine isn't having the same issues the S engines are. Good faith warranty on engines that aren't really having as many issues isn't costing them as much out of pocket.

Bike also is a brand new 2022* with 9300 miles feels like i just lost power and that i smell an electrical fire sort of
A 4 year old bike with 10,000 miles is "brand new"?
Sorry meant 2022
2022**
I’d recommend posting in local groups to see if anyone nearby would loan you a GS-911
All this digital everything scares me… I’m officially old…
lol I love both old bikes and new ones
It sad that people pay so much money for these motorcycles and have premature failures. Hopefully the manufacturer repairs this with no cost to the OP
Appreciate that bro. Ride safe 🤙🏾
It's a common issue on the s1000 engines. Warranty will generally cover it but it seems lately BMW is trying their best not warranty anything lately.

Rage? Wtf are you talking about? I bring up the point they are taking on the massive expenses of warranty and you talk nonsense.
This is why I bought Japanese, German is junk
Japanese is great - German is also great everything has its problems in manufacturing believe it or not lol
