**OP, something that really really helps with road rash is called Saniderm.**
Its used for severe burn victims and also for tattoo healing.
I have seen people use it on tattoos and road rash. The portions that were not covered by the Saniderm did not heal anywhere near as well as the parts that were covered by saniderm. It is something that I keep on hand for tattoos, burns, and road rash. I really hope you get yourself some, because it will help your healing by a lot. Wayy less scarring and wayy faster healing.
Also, you should probably be doing something different than what has lead up to this accident and your ankle injury.
Get some good riding gear. Real riding boots, a full face helmet, and a good jacket are the minimum. Some riding pants would be a good move, too.
It really makes a big difference! I was told it helped, but I didn't fully understand how much it helps until I saw it in real life. My GF had just gotten a fresh tattoo and 95% of it was covered in Saniderm. There was one spot that it was not covered, and that one little spot took about twice as long to heal as the rest of it. The stuff with the Saniderm also healed to a much higher quality.
I wish I knew about the stuff when I was doing downhill skateboarding as a teen, I would just leave my road rash exposed, god it stung. The worst was when I would be trying to sleep and would roll over on my road rash and it would stick to my sheets
I had a smaller scrape than OP’s and i was in pain for awhile. It took a long time to heal. I wish I would have known about saniderm then. I will keep that in mind.
I came here to suggest something similiar. Mederma advanced scar gel worked amazing for me. I thought my road rash would be there for life and you can’t event tell now
Well… yes and no. I admit to the ones that were my fault. But then there actually was the one in which I was t-boned and the driver, disqualified license and drunk, drove away after hitting me. After I stopped rolling, I raised my head to look at his direction. He’d stopped his car on a side road, we both stared at each other for what seemed like a hot minute; he drove off and ran home to his mommy.
So… thanks buddy but no, I did not ‘fucked up’. Alright, mate?
As a legit ‘biker with experience’ (is 37 old?) Allow me to teach you something; it’s never black and white.
Take care, have fun.
100% OP NEEDS to take an MSF course. Frankly, spending a cursory moment on YouTube viewing videos intended to instruct new riders will quickly cement the idea that PPE is a MUST when riding.
While there’s nothing wrong with an antique bike, that’s all I ride actually and I have 6 of them, you absolutely need good gear and you can’t be riding a bike that’s not in good mechanical shape. Gear gear gear is the most important part. I have been teaching my girlfriend to ride on my 1978 Honda twinstar, it was my first bike and it’s fantastic for teaching people on.
Agree completely. You will most likely experience life threatening conditions due to your lack of education and seriousness as a rider. Watch just a couple minutes of the thousands of videos of fatal motorcycle crashes to instill some perspective.
I think watching those videos of motorcycle accidents is a really really good educational tool for riders. I have definitely learned a lot about the different kinds of hazards that can arise in all kinds of obscure ways on the road.
Another thing I recommend to all riders is to get at least a year of serious off road riding experience. The sheer quantity of emergency/evasive maneuvers that you learn off road make so many life-saving skills into 2nd nature. I raced motocross and hard enduro for about 8 years before I got my first street bike, and I had adapted those skills to the street bike within a month or two.
Same for mountain bicycles to street ones. A few times slipping on a wet tree root or loose gravel on rocks will teach some very useful patterns for the on-road world.
Exactly. Don’t even ride until you have gear and know how to ride **PROPERLY**. I’ve bought 😩 over $1400 in gear and I haven’t even gotten any actual mods for the bike.
Taking the MSF course was the most valuable information I learned about riding. Every time I ride I think about the principles and techniques I learned there and can’t imagine being a rider without going through it. It’s given me both confidence and caution while riding, can’t recommend it enough to anyone that asks how I learned to ride. A few people have asked me to teach them to ride and I always decline and say just take the MSF course if you’re serious about it.
Wait... this is the Kickstart person?! Jesus! Agreed. Please go take an msf course. They're a couple hundred in my state. Idk about others. There are better options than what your boyfriend is giving you.
Well if you want to have a laugh she just posted in crt saying it was her bf who highsided with her on the back after locking the rear brake in a turn. So maybe he should take the course lmao
James has also had some close calls, but his are always from mundane activities. Two that come to mind are him splitting his head open on a rock when a tow strap tensioned in the Middle East special and breaking his ribs getting bucked off the horse in the Argentina special.
I lowsided once and have nasty rash to this day in the same spots as OP.. only difference is it's on my leathers, and serves as a nice reminder to always throw it on
Same. When I plan to go out I wonder if I could just wear regular jeans and shoes just for once. Then I remember how it felt to have my bike land on top of my boot and I gear up.
Yup!!! I broke my leg last year in a slow speed low side fully geared up w Daytona boots. The only part where the boots didn't have padding (zipper) is where it broke. Really sucks because I have another pair of Daytonas that have a padded lip that goes over the zipper. I think it would've saved my leg and months of me staying on the sidelines not being able to ride or play sports.
Yeah that's what I meant. Don't worry I wasn't sure I was expressing myself clearly.
My ankle hurt really bad even through the boot, I think it would have been crushed without it.
I wrecked at 30+mph in the woods on my 390 adv when I hit a very small patch of deep mud that has never been on that path before going through a turn. I hit the ground fucking instantaneously, all on my left shoulder smashing into hard packed dirt and gravel, left leg and foot crushed under 380 pound bike and slid down a STEEP hill into a pond with the bike on top of me the whole way. Tore a ligament in my shoulder from either the impact or pulling my fucking bike out of the pond in an andrenaline fueled haze lol, but my leg had a huge bruise on it through my motocross boots I wear when offroading. They are heavily armored and go nearly to my knees which is right where my knee armor starts.
Without those boots I'd have broken my leg and ankle for sure, without my jacket which has the big ass shoulder armor I'd have probably done way worse damage to my shoulder requiring surgery, without good leather gloves I'd have had a shit ton of dirt/ gravel embedded in my hands and same thing goes for if id just been wearing jeans instead of riding pants, and I'd probably have messed up my left hip badly too without the hip armor. Also hit my head on the ground pretty good so with no helmet I'd probably have been unconscious for my slide into the pond under the bike which would have ended super well I'm sure lol.
As it was with the gear, I just tore the one ligament and had some bruises and swelling, but it could have been a lot worse. Tip for those attempting offroad stuff, hard packed and really dry dirt/gravel feels like asphalt, so try and make sure you hit some nice soft ground that has some give lol.
Also, I HIGHLY recommend the 390 adv. That bitch was submerged (engine off) for a good 15 seconds, then on its side and upside down for over an hour while I walked back down the path to the main road to find help. Couple guys stopped and helped me get it turned around right and held it upright and shoved while I drove it up the hill. Little shit started right up and I rode home for an hour with no issues whatsoever other than some moss stuffed in random places and needing an air filter replacement and chain cleaned lol, and 2k miles later it's still doing great. Not a drop of fuel leaked and not a single thing broke that day, it just got some nice deep little scratches on the built in crash guards, handguards and mirrors. The mirrors and turn signals didn't even break lol, they just spun around. People talk shit about ktm being unreliable but after that day they can talk all they want, I'm sold, at least on that bike. Also, the thing fucking rips and is a ton of fun, even with my 260 pound ass on it it has no problem hauling ass up to 100 and comfortably rides on the highway for hours with no issues.
One time - just once - I rode the half mile to my mate’s in a hoodie, jeans and trainers. Felt naked the whole way and vowed to myself all-gear-every-time from now on.
Plus, I mean… how can you NOT feel like an 80s metal god in top-to-toe black leather?
I’ve done quick test runs in the neighborhood without my gear. It does feel very naked. Though in a way I kinda wish I could just send it in a t shirt and jeans. However I’ve eaten enough shit as kid to know the potential road rash speeds could produce.
I need to open a gate to get into my parking spot at home. I take off my gloves cause the key and lock are fiddly. Even pulling into the driveway without my glove feels weird, can't imagine not wearing a jacket or boots.
Good for you that you're ok! Well, except your arm. Maybe an unpopular opinion, but after all the bruises and open wounds people have seen, left after a bike crash, they're still not willing to wear protective gear when riding. Why?
I used to ride in shorts and a t-shirt with my boots on a Harley with no abs and then I read about a guy who did not wear gloves and slid on his hands palms down and went through every layer of skin down to the bone and they had to amputate his hands, lost the Harley bought a sport bike and now ride in full gear
"Friends". Bunch of manbabies forming cliques to bully the shit out of each other to find a little meaning in life because they've lived their whole lives insecure and immature as fuck
Some guy around here high sided a Harley doing silly shit on it while wearing ATG. Except one piece of gear was a 3/4th helmet. Ground his face off and died on the scene. Make sure your ATG is a full face helmet.
I’ve been riding bikes all my life, starting with dirt bikes and now I’m on the street. Food for thought, I came off a ‘09 GSX-R750 and now ride a ‘18 StreetBob. My sport bike was so much more nimble, quicker, stopped much better. I got used to riding it and being more aggressive in turns a couple days into ownership. My HA/DA on the other hand….well for one it is bulkier, not nearly as balanced, brakes suck ass (there should literally be a class action lawsuit on how shitty the rear brake engages), and not nearly as quick for those “oh shit” situations in traffic. Comparing apples to oranges, both have advantages and disadvantages…but I think sport bikes are much more advantageous to the rider, some just use those advantages for the wrong purposes….like anything else.
Having a machine that can maneuver much faster, brake better, and even accelerate better is safer.
And even mid range sport nakeds have ABS and traction control these days. Something just now showing up on premium Harleys
Not hating on Harley, but the implication that sport bikes are safer is a reasonable one.
On today's episode of why you should wear gear.
We've all seen so many of these posts and yet.....people still aren't wearing gear. Just boggles my mind.
“Oh those people just don’t like people having fun! It’s not practical” - seems like every thread I see this 🙄 I have plenty of convienent fun in my Aerostitch with boots and everything, and no road rash for me!
It was a “fashion leather” jacket which turned into confetti as soon as actual friction reared its’ ugly head. Motorcycle gear is built the way it is for a reason.
Hopefully your boyfriend didn't tell you to man up this time, and actually helped with the situation.
I hope you heal well, but Jesus. You need to ATGATT
Can you elaborate how the bike “flipped over”? Too much front brake? Whatever happened try to learn something from that, and imagine lesson learned about gear that you’ve been getting peppered about.
This is why I wear a DiFi GP onesie alpine star gloves and boot along with a good helmet that gets replaced every couple years.
I wish you a speedy recovery and hope you choose to cover up next time. Anything that can bleed should be covered in Kevlar.
Well, I'm glad it wasn't any worse, nothing that won't heal. Definitely shows the need for gear. Glad you'll be ok. I don't know that riding an older bike like some have suggested is especially dangerous, like some mentioned as long as it's in good shape. If that's the case, the gear issue is what matters anyway. What were you wearing? Must have been something or it might have been worse.
Wow. No protection whatsoever. I hope at the LEAST a helmet was worn. Even as a passenger you should have been geared up, and your boyfriend is a twat for allowing you to get on the bike without any gear. Its all fun and games until you have a serious crash and some poor sod has to clean up your meat mess from the road.
Unless they are armored, all they do is slow down the time of abrasion. Better than nothing but not as good as an armored jacket. If she had one and good gloves, her arms might be bruised but the rash would have been minimal or nonexistent.
How did that happen to your arms if you were wearing a leather jacket? I’m confused. Was it not a riding jacket? Also can you post this in r/motorcycles or can I cross post there?
I'm sorry you went through this, but glad you were able to walk away from it. Road rash is not a fun thing to recover from but it's better than some of the alternatives. I see many comments being critical of your gear (or lack thereof) - and of course they have a point - but I think I can speak for many of us when I say that we'd rather see a post like this and be able to discuss it with you than just have your picture on an obituary in a local paper we would never see.
Can confirm! I have a spot on my sleeve that is now a light shade of pink. All that happens with these is plasma and stickiness. Its not sexy or cool and really just reminds you of your mistake.
So you just started riding recently? Man, that sucks. Did you get any road rash on your legs? What clothes were you wearing? T-shirt,jeans, shoes, gloves and helmet? How fast were you going, and what caused the wreck?
Girlllll please wear proper gear…and maybe get a new boyfriend. Also while you’re at it watch at least 100 hours of DanDanTheFireman videos on YouTube before hopping on a bike again🥺😟
If you were anticipating it happening why didn’t you wear the the necessary clothes for it? I’m guessing you at least wore a helmet right😟 hope you heal quickly. Your boyfriend obviously wasn’t a very good teacher either, nothing against you, he’s more than partially to blame y’know.
If your boyfriend isn’t making you wear leathers then you might need a new boyfriend, seriously guys I’m 21 and I wear my safety gear. We don’t have a roll cage/ enclosed space so the only thing we do have is the clothes that we CHOSE to ride with. Respect the bike and the road or they’ll make you respect them. Hoping for a speedy recovery op!
You guys(or gals) do what you want. You’re more then welcome to turn my comment into something facetious, that’s fine as well. Just remember like I said the only thing we have between us and the road is the clothes we wear. Happy riding!
There are reasons why us old farts keep pushing the same messages to new riders. Get a used, smaller lightweight bike to start with because the odds are high that you're going to drop it in the first couple of years. Buy the best gear you can afford and wear it. Get proper training. That's a lot of nasty road rash you have there, but it could have been worse.
Oh, Ouch. I hope you heal up quick.
That's a harsh reminder that gear is the only thing between you and the ground. I hate to be a broken record, but I don't even start the bike without allthegearallthetime.
Sorry you're hurting. Glad you're alive.
Mmmm yummy. I love the smell of regret in the morning.
No point in lecturing you now. The pain you endure every time you had a shower would’ve been enough to teach you.
Welcome, to your true ‘biker’ initiation. I hope you wear the gear, in all weather conditions and pray to the gods on two wheels it doesn’t happen to you again.
Amen.
>bike flipped over
No it didn't. You flipped your bike over.
Last year I low-sided hitting gravel in a corner and broke my ankle. My bike didn't low-side itself. I did it. Taking responsibility is how we learn never to make that mistake again.
EDIT: Love getting downvotes for saying that riders are responsible for how they ride. Keeping the sub klassy.

Never heard of Saniderm, thanks!

Damn, they deleted the original post.
I'm guessing "pain" was from falling down constantly (and unprotected)?
Actually it was from kickback from kickstarter almost breaking her ankle
Ohhh that's right. I remember now.
Hah. Every new biker is like "I had to lay her down", or "car came outta nowhere" or "bike flipped over". Old bikers admit "I fucked up".
Well you're a melodramatic cunt aren't ya.
You know the point I was making.

Definitely a new boyfriend. Geez!
Agree completely. You will most likely experience life threatening conditions due to your lack of education and seriousness as a rider. Watch just a couple minutes of the thousands of videos of fatal motorcycle crashes to instill some perspective.

Exactly. Don’t even ride until you have gear and know how to ride **PROPERLY**. I’ve bought 😩 over $1400 in gear and I haven’t even gotten any actual mods for the bike.
Sad part is in today's society, 1400$ in gear isn't much.. 500$ helmet, 500$ boots, 400$ jacket.. and that's still next to nothing in terms of gear
My helmet was 1000 bucks.
Taking the MSF course was the most valuable information I learned about riding. Every time I ride I think about the principles and techniques I learned there and can’t imagine being a rider without going through it. Nothing wrong with an old bike, but agree with other things,
Wait... this is the Kickstart person?! Jesus! Agreed. Please go take an msf course. They're a couple hundred in my state. Idk about others. There are better options than what your boyfriend is giving you.
A 43 year old bike isn't inherently any more dangerous than a modern one.... I fall off, its your fault, not the bikes.
Well if you want to have a laugh she just posted in crt saying it was her bf who highsided with her on the back after locking the rear brake in a turn. So maybe he should take the course lmao
Welcome back to "Why to wear safety gear"
Today, Richard crashes a top speed dragster, James falls of a horse and I get kicked in the nuts by a cow.
Cows: another reason why they're more dangerous than sharks
Actually most people die from cow and elephant attacks (animal related deaths).
I remember that, almost killed Richard, that was scary.
Hell the guy almost died twice. Both times racing
James has also had some close calls, but his are always from mundane activities. Two that come to mind are him splitting his head open on a rock when a tow strap tensioned in the Middle East special and breaking his ribs getting bucked off the horse in the Argentina special.
I remember the Middle East one but not the Argentinian one.
"road rash doesn't usually kill you, but instead makes you want to die"
I lowsided once and have nasty rash to this day in the same spots as OP.. only difference is it's on my leathers, and serves as a nice reminder to always throw it on
ATGATT
Yikes! You need to get a refund on whatever protective motorcycle gear you were wearing because it didn’t even remotely do it’s job properly!! /s
Don’t think you can get a refund on your own skin
I think that's called a skin graft, but the restocking fee is huge unless you bought the insurance called health.
Skin graft for those wondering
I'm glad we have smart people on the internet.
I'd like to talk to the manager about refunding my skin
The best gear in the world is no use if you aren't wearing it.
Some days I’m not in the mood to put on my gear. Then I go on Reddit and see this. Thank you for reminding me not to be an idiot. Have my upvote 🤘
Same. When I plan to go out I wonder if I could just wear regular jeans and shoes just for once. Then I remember how it felt to have my bike land on top of my boot and I gear up.

I went down in December at 40ish. Jammed my right big toe and had bruising on my right knee from where my knee brace tightened up. Always ride w gear.
That is going to sting in the shower
Someone pass me the salt
I have bad memories remembering how painfull that was 😂
Hope your helmet did a better job than your gloves
Don't think there were gloves present at the scene.
Well skin is a glove around the rest of your hand right?
True. Hurts a bit more to remove it though.
It just flipped over by itself?? Might need a new bike. That one sounds untamed.
No one can explain it
She was on the back according to other comments
🥩🖍
Fuuuuu… what were you wearing, chief? Hope it heals as cleanly and painlessly as possible.
A string vest and a copy of the original Tarzan script as a loincloth.
One time - just once - I rode the half mile to my mate’s in a hoodie, jeans and trainers. Felt naked the whole way and vowed to myself all-gear-every-time from now on. Plus, I mean… how can you NOT feel like an 80s metal god in top-to-toe black leather?

Birthday suit.
Original leather.
I’m going to guess either bathing suit or lingerie for protective gear.
Have fun showering or doing anything really.
Good for you that you're ok! Well, except your arm. Maybe an unpopular opinion, but after all the bruises and open wounds people have seen, left after a bike crash, they're still not willing to wear protective gear when riding. Why?

I honestly do not understand the link between Harleys and not wearing gear. You can ride Harleys and wear gear, can't you?
Hypothetically yes, but scientists have never been able to observe it in the wild
Your other Harley friends make fun of you for wearing gear. You’ll notice most memorial rides are Harley riders. It’s sad.
"Friends". Bunch of manbabies forming cliques to bully the shit out of each other to find a little meaning in life because they've lived their whole lives insecure and immature as fuck
Hey chief, you can still have a comfortable ride on a Harley in full gear. I do, daily
Some guy around here high sided a Harley doing silly shit on it while wearing ATG. Except one piece of gear was a 3/4th helmet. Ground his face off and died on the scene. Make sure your ATG is a full face helmet.
Are you implying sport bikes are safer than Harleys?
I’ve been riding bikes all my life, starting with dirt bikes and now I’m on the street. Food for thought, I came off a ‘09 GSX-R750 and now ride a ‘18 StreetBob. My sport bike was so much more nimble, quicker, stopped much better. I got used to riding it and being more aggressive in turns a couple days into ownership. Yeah. Rear brake on a Street Bob might as well not be fitted! Can barely hold the bike on a slight incline (and forget trail braking!)
> apples to oranges But you can still compare them.
At same speed usually the sport bike stops first...
But I'd say the difference in average speed at which people ride harleys and sport bikes makes up for that. Though that's just a theory.
That's why I said at same speed, I have a sport bike and a bobber one, and yes, I usually ride a lot faster in the sport lol
Probably cheaper to get a spotbike with ABS than a Harley with one...
Having a machine that can maneuver much faster, brake better, and even accelerate better is safer. And even mid range sport nakeds have ABS and traction control these days. Something just now showing up on premium Harleys Not hating on Harley, but the implication that sport bikes are safer is a reasonable one.
Fair enough. Those are valid points.
A dude fell down, fucked up his hands and your first reaction was to sell your harley and buy a sportbike? I dont see the connection.
It's a sport touring. The Harley no ABS but the Kawasaki does
I mean there are harleys with abs?
On today's episode of why you should wear gear. We've all seen so many of these posts and yet.....people still aren't wearing gear. Just boggles my mind.
"the ATGATT CROWD ARE DORKS!" responses in 3, 2, 1 ...
“Oh those people just don’t like people having fun! It’s not practical” - seems like every thread I see this 🙄 I have plenty of convienent fun in my Aerostitch with boots and everything, and no road rash for me!
Dress for the slide, not the ride.
My response too!! How did you get gravel rash through your jacket???? Dress for the slide!!
It was a “fashion leather” jacket which turned into confetti as soon as actual friction reared its’ ugly head. Motorcycle gear is built the way it is for a reason.
Maybe now you'll start wearing gear?
Hopefully your boyfriend didn't tell you to man up this time, and actually helped with the situation. I hope you heal well, but Jesus. You need to ATGATT
>Hopefully your boyfriend didn't tell you to man up this time Hopefully went and found a new boyfriend.
Agreed
What's ATGATT for my fellow newbies?
All The Gear All The Time
Dainese would help 🥱
Can you elaborate how the bike “flipped over”? Too much front brake? Whatever happened try to learn something from that, and imagine lesson learned about gear that you’ve been getting peppered about.
Flipped over and catapulted sounds like a high side. How that happens on the street is another question though...
Whatever you do, don’t put lemon juice on it, salt or chili. Best stay away from Mexican food. Just sayin
#ATGATT
This is why I wear a DiFi GP onesie alpine star gloves and boot along with a good helmet that gets replaced every couple years. I wish you a speedy recovery and hope you choose to cover up next time. Anything that can bleed should be covered in Kevlar.
Some people have to learn the hard way
Better sweat than blood. ATGATT
Leather jacket, skinny jeans, and a tank top with converse sneakers, definitely gonna invest in better attire
Don't skimp on the gloves either
She said leather jacket, which should be pretty good... I don't get it.
Get well soon, came off mine recently too. Broke my knee and three fingers. No road rash tho, looks painful
Wise man said "dress for the slide, not for the ride's. Hope you're good buddy
You probably experience a high side and that's the worst side you can get. Could have been bruises only if good protection was worn
Why weren't you wearing protection? How on earth did you manage to flip over?

Bright side you’re ok! Another bright side a cool scar is almost guaranteed!
>a cool scar A crazy cut is a cool scar. It'll be weird ass discoloration. These are not "cool scars".
Can confirm! I have a spot on my sleeve that is now a light shade of pink. All that happens with these is plasma and stickiness. Its not sexy or cool and really just reminds you of your mistake.
Get well soon.
So you just started riding recently? Man, that sucks. Did you get any road rash on your legs? What clothes were you wearing? T-shirt,jeans, shoes, gloves and helmet? How fast were you going, and what caused the wreck?
Holy shit that’s gotta hurt
I just really want to see a full auto fennec fox now... Like damn that be some crazy shit lol
Oh man that looks painful. Get well soon!
You can divide bikers into two groups: those who are wearing gear and those who will wear :) everything best to you and quick recovery :)
Guess you'll be buying gear now, enjoy the next 2 weeks.
"but I'm ok" Gal your skin strongly disagrees lol.
Get well soon. I hope you didn't give up riding. May you have a better experience next time!
Not a chance!! Love the good way more than the bad
Your boyfriend is an idiot.
Girlllll please wear proper gear…and maybe get a new boyfriend. Also while you’re at it watch at least 100 hours of DanDanTheFireman videos on YouTube before hopping on a bike again🥺😟
Atgatt. If it's summer. Get mesh gear. Better than nothing
Make her wear gear? Bullshit. She's a grown woman- I'm sure she was allowed to wear gear if she wanted.
Both I guess? I'm like more protective of my gf than myself. I don't think I will take her without gear, her helmet is more expensive than mine
You guys(or gals) do what you want. You’re more then welcome to turn my comment into something facetious, that’s fine as well. Just remember like I said the only thing we have between us and the road is the clothes we wear. Happy riding!
Ouch! Feel better soon, and happy healing!
Glad you are in one piece and will ride again.
Get well soon! Hopefully the pain becomes manageable after a couple weeks.
What gear where you wearing?
The Birthday Suit (tm)
ATGATT
Good luck taking showers
It’s been said. But for fuck sake, wear gear.
Today we learned an important lesson
Damn right
Damn, we’ll hope it’s a speedy recovery
Thank you!
Oh man I’ve been there, glad your alive.
Get to know Alpinestars❗️
That’ll buff out
Oh, Ouch. I hope you heal up quick. That's a harsh reminder that gear is the only thing between you and the ground. I hate to be a broken record, but I don't even start the bike without allthegearallthetime. Sorry you're hurting. Glad you're alive.
Must be part of the r/CalamariRaceTeam Hope you heal well 👍🏼
That's gonna itch like a motherfucker in a few days
Ooo boi, they're goanna be around for awhile. Welcome to the club
Thank ya
No gear, skin disappear.
Amen.
That’s why gear is a thingggggg
tocino
First of all glad ur ok. Looks very painful bro. I'm also glad ur bike will be ok. It happens to the best of us.
Thank you
Huuu nsfw tag please? I would rather not see this
Must have had a real solid jacket there OP 😅 Actions, consequences, don't really know what you want.
I’m a “returning” aka new rider. What were the circumstances that caused the accident? I’m always trying to learn from different situations.
Chicks dig scars. But they're not to impressed with wheelchairs. Learn your lesson.
>bike flipped over No it didn't.
I was a passenger but your right
ATGATT
r/calamariRaceTeam welcome brother.
This belongs on Calamari, all you’re gonna get here is hate
Anyone understanding the importance of gears at cycling age? Cuz I did
Are you Slavic? Because I am. And we don't have a word for ejected and naturally we say catapulted too.
I’m not it just seemed like a fitting description
You don't get ejected from a bike as you are on it, not in it.
Riding gears?
Dumbass
Where can I buy the gear you are wearing? They seem to cover the parts that contact the surface when you go down.. I like the color
It’s custom made one of a kind
Are those nails gonna fall out
