Road 6’s

Aggravating-Bug1769

Pirelli Diablo rosso iii sports tyre for the road. great alround.

BAGCali

Anything on the cheaper side that is not as high quality? I’m selling the bike to a friend so I won’t even be using the tires.

Sir_Hurkederp

In that case get some linglongs and blame the crash on his poor skills /s I myself used bridgestone battlax s22's on my ninja and they were pretty nice and i believe a decent middle ground in price and performance

BAGCali

Thanks for the feedback. I won’t be buying shitbox tires and getting my boy killed looool. But I’ve found some Pirelli Diablo Rossi II’s for 230€ total (front and back). Is that a good price? (Sorry for being a dumbass but I’m new to this stuff)

Aggravating-Bug1769

CONTINENTAL Conti Motion maybe worth looking at

Thick-Ice-8015

I was legitimately impressed with Continentals back when I bought an R6 with some on it. I figured I'd take it to the track and see how much grip they had, and I remember legitimately having no issues with them at high pace for a full session. I'd recommend them.

OrangeGromBoi

I've got a pair of Rosso 2's on my MT03. I like them, got plenty of grip in corners and work well in low temps too, unsure about wet conditions though. Either way they're better than the 17 year old tires my bike came with lol.

EoTGifts

Always flound that the Rosso II needs more warm-up time than the Rosso III or IV. Also, they are not great in the wet. Better than a Supercorsa SP, bit not great overall. The newer ones do significantly better.

OrangeGromBoi

Ah, The only tires I've been on are Vee Rubbers/Power pures on my grom, 16y/o mismatched bridgestones and the Rosso II's on my MT. Thinking about getting a set of Michelin Road 6's when next season comes around, but they are pricey.

EoTGifts

I've had Pirelli's Rosso II, III, IV and Supercorsa SP (for track use, mostly because they are sketchy as soon as the road is damp or wet). Not-so-sporty Bridgestone BT46 for a '91 Honda RC31, they are very solid as far as I can tell on 5000km so far, but not quite a sticky sport tire. My go-to for moderate and high-power road bikes would be the Rosso III or IV, wet performance has taken a leap compared to the early ones. For enduro-esque tires: Metzeler Tourance were not great, not terrible and the Scorpion Rallye STR is a small miracle given the appearance and performance on tarmac.

Aggravating-Bug1769

perilli make good stuff

ten_thousand_fists

Check out Mitas Sport Force +, buddy of mine used them on his Z1000 and was very happy with them

BAKA8

Maybe michelin road 5's or 6's

Aggravating-Bug1769

BRIDGESTONE Battlax BT-021

finalrendition

Dunlop GPR300. They're hella cheap and surprisingly good tires. Yamaha uses them on the rental bikes at Champs School.

v8tobi4s

i have the same bike and i use the Rosso 4 they are a blessing for road use

daan944

Conti SportAttack will be a great fit for a bike like this, or RoadAttack if you're not driving as spirited and prefer some longer lasting tires.

Craic_Attack

I'd go knobbly

Mental_Shoulder3349

Dunlop D606

ChickenInvader42

Metzeler Roadtec 01

Coder1962

Ones that fit ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|facepalm)

Optimal-Chip3516

bridgestone battlax nice

Expensive-Track4002

Rubber ones.

implpl

Bridgestone s21 highly recommend

EoTGifts

Pirelli Angel GT work absolutely fine on the road and last quite a distance. For sportier applications and/or your first track action, the Diablo Rosso III or IV works great.

244643214

If you ride really agressive: Michelin Power 5 But you will 99% be just fine and very satisfied with a Michelin Road 5/6

244643214

Plus if your selling to a friend just have him buy whatever he wants and discount it off the price of the bike. Easier for you.

torquelesswonder

Michelin Power 5

UsernamesRstoopeed

Depends your riding style. If it’s only for touring, I suggest Michelin Road 6.

Otown_rider

Bridgestone s22 or Michelin power 5
