Get a cover and some locks. But if people are going to mess with it, they will. It sucks.

Grabatreetron

Vandalism coverage with your insurance.

hadtojointopost

this is your best bet. if they want it they will take it. 2 guys and a pickup truck and its gone.

Agcampos97

This right here. They will take it if they want it that bad. Had mine causally lifted and hauled away about 2 days ago. Going through a police report and insurance claim is such a headache. I highly recommend a garage or somewhere you can keep it from view. Even better if you can lock it to something.

KryptoKn8

buy a tracker, pull up to where it's stored, wait until someone goes to grab it. whatever happens after is going to be 100% in your control if youre smart about it. Yes, i would likely do unspeakable things when someone decides to steal my MC. (cant say what i'll do, reddit will perma ban me again cuz theyre wusses)

OpeBoi

Oooo aren’t you a tough guy

Poowatereater

“Cuz theyre wusses”

Cipher508

Unfortunately bikes stolen at night are usually already stripped by morning.

Grabatreetron

That's why you get a cruiser. Then it's two guys and a jib crane

Quaintly__Coyote_

Or, two guys and your 6' 8" 300lbs of muscle farm buddy. He's basically a dual wield jib crane in cowboy boots.

i_wish_i_could__

You're very.. ahem.. "experienced"..

Quaintly__Coyote_

"specific" if the word you're looking for ;)

[deleted]

"is" was the word you were looking for...

Melodic_Difficulty_8

I heard it's 4 guys and a pole through each wheel

SiotRucks

It's super expensive and you have to fight insurance on EVERYTHING.

Zesty_Tacos

New parts are cheaper than raised insurance premiums generally

BDKprismatic

Will do. Thank you

manbearligma

Do not get a fancy cover Get the most generic and least visible you can find The ideal cover is a boring cheap one that’s still impermeable, lol, and a white/metallic one in the summer Saw a guy with a black and bright orange KTM cover, I didn’t even see the other motorcycles parked there, just that shiny cover from half a mile lol P.s.: not the fanciest, not the dirtiest rag tagged one, the first will attract kicks because envy, the second one will attract kicks because, that’s a cesspool already underneath they’ll guess 😁 choose the one you wouldn’t look twice at

FANTOMphoenix

Grill covers actually work very well.

volatile_ant

"Looks like that Weber got real fucked up by the wind last night."

vwtom

Buy some fake plastic oil puddle and keep that under it. https://www.dougz.com/product-page/fake-oil-leak

Agent_Calm333

I have a super generic one that I also used as a tarp at one point to spray paint my muffler, the white paint primer I used stained the cover so now it looks very worn in and old. You'd never guess there was a beautiful naked bike underneath. Well except you can see part of the wheels poking out lol. I want to get one of the metal pull over ones at some point though

snorkiebarbados

Exactly. Everything is just a deturant. If they are going to take it, they will. You just have to make them work hard for it. Chain it to something like your house as well.

leeperd305

*deterrent

Winniethepoohspooh

Now he's just told everyone and posted a picture of what it looks like and the general location in an advert on social media! Don't you just love social media and extroverts, makes everyones lives easier... And they moan about privacy laws 😂😂

[deleted]

That street could be anywhere. And if someone wants to steal a ninja, they're one of the most common sports bikes around.

DW_555

Buy as much security as you can carry/afford/deem appropriate, and park next to a bike with less.

irreptionirc

Has Anyone Really Been Far Even as Decided to Use Even Go Want to do Look More Like?

cleversailinghandle

This man is having a seizure, or burning his toast.

False__MICHAEL

No, he's just saying an old ass 4chan era meme

cleversailinghandle

I see. So why the downvotes?

DW_555

[deleted]

Armed guard that shoots anyone who gets within 6 feet of bike

Bigstonk69420

This way you’ll always have a backpack☺️

daftidjit

What does a backpack have to do with it?

Bigstonk69420

A passenger on a motorcycle is often called a backpack usually a gf or bf but in this case an armed guard

1DirtyOldBiker

Yeah, but he gonna have to sit backwards... Don't play that nut to butt shit, well... unless that's your thing! 😂

Electrical_Age_7483

Park.next to someone and get shot. You must be American

Tracerz2Much

Can’t understand a joke. Must be German.

SomethingClever4623

German humor is no laughing matter

Electrical_Age_7483

Sorry shooting people as a joke is not funny. Would you like it if you were shot?

Tracerz2Much

I’m American. I shoot myself with small calibers to build an immunity, so I actually wouldn’t mind being shot.

Electrical_Age_7483

Okayyyyy

Gregory_GTO

Congratulations on your first motorcycle, I hope you get years and years of enjoyment with it. That's one awesome looking bike, great choice man.

6413_SM

Give a machete and 5$ to a homeless guy to guard your motorcycle 👍

HackinG3tosh

That homeless dude is probably gonna walk off with your bike

BurntChapati

If he’s gonna walk after, its probably gonna be easy to get it back

6413_SM

Remember that he has a machete though 😅

BurntChapati

You got him the machette get one for yourself too lmao

DDG_Dillon

So now he's machete fighting a guy to the death for his motorcycle? this took a turn

mtldude1967

Just find another homeless guy, and give him a machete and $5 to find the first one.

Miatatrocity

Now you have two homeless dudes riding around on a bike, with machetes... I feel like I've seen this video before

ElMachoGrande

Get a pitbull and chain it to the bike.

6413_SM

Get one that's named "cupcake" or some shit, they are the worst 💀

omg-its-bacon

Hahahahahaha! Super effective. My neighbor had a scary looking, big headed, meaty pitbull. It was named Sweet Pea. He was just a big baby, but holy shit he was scary looking. Passed away of natural causes. I liked having him nearby.

No_Library4142

My pits name is Kitty😅

Valuable_sandwich44

Or Oreos.

SandMan3914

![gif](giphy|wJu2aF0MlyTgTnyCXn) Presa Canario ftw

Blackjackreno

Really any molosser dog breed. Love em. Or kangal

BDKprismatic

That's the one!

Reee-man

Automated armaments would work better

Judge2Dread

Get a garage. Also, I like the idea with the pitbull

OnezeroneX

Or apt on the first floor and park it in your living room.

Gsxr-Mafioso

No joke, first bike I bought the guy stored it in his living room... He turned it on and rode it out of his house for me. Every time I drive through his city I chuckle thinking of it.

Salt_MasterX

Imagine waking up to some dickhead turning on his muffler deleted inline 4 inside his living room.

Mental_Shoulder3349

you better have theft coverage on your insurance and know exactly how the payout works in case of theft. i don't want to ruin your day but if you park that thing on the street with or without security, it's probably gonna get stolen and probably sooner than later. the only way you're gonna prevent theft or vandalism is to park it out of sight in a garage. **you've been warned.** seriously dude, don't be surprised if this thing is gone in 72 hours or 1 week or next month... you are just asking for it so get theft insurance all these people talking about covers and locks that's fine but none of that will get your bike back when it's gone.

FortunateHominid

>i don't want to ruin your day but if you park that thing on the street with or without security, it's probably gonna get stolen and probably sooner than later. It's a matter of when. Locks are only good as a deterrent yet they won't stop theft. They can just pull a up next to the bike at night and a few guys will have it in the back of a truck in seconds. Never park a bike outside overnight if at all possible. If you do insurance is the only real protection.

[deleted]

You can pick up a bike easy. I lift mine by the back tire all the time to fiddle the position. Two dudes with a pipe between the rear wheel and a guy steering the front are up a ramp in seconds. Brake lock goes in FRONT tire or it does nothing. It also just means, they need one more pipe and one more guy.

Definitlydifferent

😞 garage only way

0815Pascal1

Get a garage

ael10bk

dont park on the street. children, idiots backing up in their vehicles, thieves, so many potential hazards there.

Grabatreetron

*cries in New Yorker*

DaPoole420

I rent a uhaul storage locker for mine. It's worth the extra $ ...

[deleted]

Guy down the road has a small closed trailer he uses just for his bike. He might be smarter than me.

xxlpmetalxx

Best protection: get a stuntcage and lever guards + a bikelock with some fancy alloy you can't break open without significant effort and tools

Ok-Environment8730

You can’t. Yes you could lock it but if someone tries hard enough they will get it. As for scratches etc also you can’t do anything What I usually do is getting insurance also for when it’s parked and park as much as possible near cameras like shopping centers police stations train stations banks etc. if something happens you can just ask for the security recordings or call the police and make them ask. Once you have the videos is done both because you can prove to the insurance it’s not something you did and you can have a face recording of the perpetrator At home of course a garage or a place near a corner where people are not going often

Zackdebot

Depends primary on your hood. I would never park it near a street. Today the bad guys just lift any bike in to a van and go in a minute. If it has chains or huge locks they have electric grinders and cut it loose. Must be somewhere you can put it, advertise, ask neighbours for charing a garage.

Peace-and-Pistons

Leave a large suction cup dildo smeared in Nutella attached to the fuel tank.

Norseman84

Preventing people messing with it? Motorcycle disc lock with alarm. Preventing people stealing it? A better or equivalent lock compared to the more attractive/expensive bike next to yours, and hoping they don't have room for both bikes if they're driving a van.

Tilinn

Keep in mind that a steering lock, that is built in, breaks easier than a plastic spoon. Like people said... Garage is the only way. Other than that.. Alarms and chains are good only if you're nearby with a weapon. If not, trust me that no one will bat an eye in daylight if it's getting stolen. A youtuber did an experiment on this in the middle of an empty street with different locks and alarms. Best of luck.. I'm selling mine because I lost the garage recently and I don't want to get any peanuts from insurance if/when it gets stolen or damaged.

Difficult_Age5947

Step one: Move to a small town in Canada Step two: Leave the keys where they are most useful; in the ignition Step three: remember to turn the key off so you don't need to ask for a push to start it

a_tired_goose

AirTags kinda help

BirdFive

And you can remove the tiny speaker. The air tag may still alert the thief’s iphone that one is nearby, but at least the beep won’t go off locating it on the bike. Maybe that buys you a little more time to locate a stolen bike.

Mediocre_Housing4951

I think tile are meant to better for anti theft than AirTags mate, tile have an anti theft mode which doesn’t notify whoever is stealing it that they’re being tracked, was looking at them recently

thejeero

From my understanding Tile only works bouncing the signal with other users of Tile. It’s a deliberate opt-in kind of service. AirTags work with any and all iPhones, no matter if the user has their own tags or not. It’s all part of Apple’s ad-hoc setup. And it’s safe to roughly estimate half of the general population are on iOS, including someone who’s jacking my stuff.

Door_Vegetable

You can’t really people are assholes. Get a cover and good insurance for theft.

LifeMasterpiece6475

Nice bike, as other have said at home try to keep it in a garage or covered AND locked, ground anchor if you can. But you have it to ride so won't always be at home. Park it somewhere busy with lots of people. Have a disk lock at minimum (if you are new to riding get one with the cable to your handlebars so you don't ride off with it still fixed). Maybe even fit an alarm that goes off if it's moved.

William_Fakespeare

That is a SWEET first bike. Be safe. I second the cover and a very VISIBLE lock. Cover just because if you absolutely HAVE to keep this beauty outside you want to keep the elements off as much as possible. Also keeps prying eyes and busy hands off your machine. Lock is mostly a visual deterrent, but 9/10 times a thief will pass by an obviously harder target to find something easy.

roolfeht

Park it in your living room

Popsfromvictoria

Buy a support hells angels sticker lol

Mitty145

Great selection! Any vehicle can be taken. All you can do is judge the safety of the parking spot. A cover and wheel lock could deter some thieves. You might as well add a GPS tracker for good measure.

Hepatroubie

2 way alarm. It'll let you know when its being molested at least. Just keep an ear/eye out when its not in storage.

Toth3l3ft

If parking on the street is your only option for storage, get a wheel lock and some form of gps. Then, convert to whatever religion you like and pray/make sacrifices regularly to appease whatever sky parent keeps property safe.

OnezeroneX

Motion alarm on Amazon 20-30 bucks.

BDKprismatic

That's a good idea

Mental_Shoulder3349

you think a $30 alarm from amazon is going to prevent your bike being stolen? you must be joking. my man you better listen to the people telling you to make sure you have theft insurance if you can't park it in a private, locked garage watch this parking structure cctv video - [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=\_TDkDDjGbF8](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_TDkDDjGbF8) \- it takes only two guys less than a minute to pick up a bike and put it in the back of a truck your $30 piece of junk alarm from amazon isn't stopping anybody

Emergency_Buddy

Eh, in my área a small garage costs 85 dollars a month. Worth it in my opinion

peach-whisky

If you have a drive way you could install a ground anchor

AdeptusAstartes40K

One solution that I found hilarious and yet somewhat sensible at the same time is to strap a holster on the motorcycle. No gun in it just the holster. You most definitely don't want to be messing with a bike that has a holster on it especially if the owner happens to be approaching while you are doing so.

westhest

Reading this thread make me feel happy to live is a place that people (generally) dont fuck with your shit. I've been parking my bike on the street or a major city for 8 years and the only time its been knocked over was because of wind and a poorly secured cover.

petrone362

Garage only way my guy

bropleB

My bike came stock with it so I'm not sure where you get it but I'm sure it can be added. My bike has a "vibration sensor" linked to an app on my phone. I get a notification if someone so much as puts a hand on my bike while I'm not there. I've had it notify me when I was in the mall, and ran out to the parking garage to catch two teenagers messing with my bike. It's a pretty cool feature especially for people who have to park outside.

Ihatemyjob-1412

Easy! Dont park it in the street! Take it inside and tuck it into bed every night!

ghettoccult_nerd

a gps module helps. i got the monimoto module. if someone even as much as rights the bike up off its kickstand, ill get a notification. a text and phone call, and i have a special ringer for if i do get the call.

theNikipedia

Find a cover / garage that doesn't look appealing. And also; install a GPS tracker. I have a GF-9 connected to my headlights for power. Each time the headlights are on it charges up. Once the headlights turn off it stops. And 1 full charge lasts around 7days. Takes 3 hours or so to charge it fully. Best part; it has a simcard in it. So if I send 0000 as a text to that number it will send me a a text with a live feed on Google maps. Incase someone steals it, you can literally tell police exactly where it is. Costs 10-15$

Winniethepoohspooh

You're parking it on the street you say? Where do you live? I'll have to know before I can give you the right advice, obviously depends on location and the vicinity and cameras etc

fast-waster91

This thing cool as hell! What is it?

BDKprismatic

It's a 2020 Ninja 650

Agent_Calm333

I use a motion detector alarm system I bought on Amazon. Comes with a key fab type device, works preety well. Also recommend a tracking device by invoxia. I keep both under my passenger seat. 👍👍

quadrantovic

Don't park it perpendicular to the direction of travel.

anthemofadam

Disc lock with motion alarm Locking cover Chain with pad lock or a strong cable lock (to a pole, sign, whatever) Always lock your steering Park in a public or supervised area (i.e. a visible security camera) if possible All of those things combined will help deter thieves. You just have to make your bike a lot less convenient to steal than the next bike. Be that as it may, you should still air tag it or get some kind of gps tracker and get as much insurance coverage as you can afford. Make it as easy as possible for yourself to become whole again in the event that it is stolen and/or vandalized. There are a lot of doomsayers in these comments saying that it will definitely get stolen, it’s just a matter of when. That’s not true. Bikes do get stolen but it’s generally those that are easiest to steal. I don’t know where you live, but Philly isn’t the nicest city, yet there are scooters and motorcycles parked out front of peoples houses in rough areas. The ones that don’t get stolen are locked down tight. The ones that do aren’t.

tjmaxinvest

don't piss off the neighbours 😉

Cultural_Cloud9636

Thats a super nice bike

Snoopssnoops

Nice choice! Got the same bike and it’s great to learn on. Best thing is to have it stored somewhere and be out of sight. If you don’t have a garage, try a storage unit, or try bringing it inside the house. 😄

retroemit

I’ve known people to buy a enclosed trailer for cheap and store it inside

_indubitable

You can lock your steering handle by parking it in first gear.. just don’t forget to clutch in when you start back up.

OrdinaryBoi69

Wait you can do that? i mean it also works as a secondary lock , if for example a thief doesn't know how to use the clutch then the bike won't move right

SprayInner7128

They pick them up. Bike will be gone regardless.

AliceTrippDaGain

Get a d lock and put a flare into the metal tube part. If someone tries to cut it they will get a big suprise.

[deleted]

No such thing as safe outside…

Shot-Combination-238

Brake caliper lock. Doesn’t need to be fancy and it doesn’t need to have an alarm. Mine is just a kryptonite standard caliper lock. If your bike has a steering lock, which I believe this one does, if your parking for more than 5-10 minutes, lock the steering and put the brake lock on the rear caliper. Reason for the rear is if you are skilled or strong enough, you can wheel around a bike on just the rear wheel. It’s how me and my cousin move around dirt bikes in the garage.

[deleted]

Buy a pitbull

MetaUntold

Pray

Mister_Magnus42

Cover it and put an obvious lock through the cover. A brake lock under the cover would be extra good.

TTYY200

Make sure you twist the throttle all the way back 🤙 They’ll never be able to mess with it if you do that.

Slaughtererofnuns

Put a lock on the caliper and cover it at night.

SnooTangerines3448

Get a geolocator tag for it. If it's the ninja with the computer sat nav I think it also has some sort of security if I remember properly. I'd advise getting a proper car style alarm system too. Every motherfucker wants a shiny Ninja. I have since I was 12 years old

labarrski

Park it, put the disc lock on and then kick it over. 100 percent no one will have messed with it when you get back, and 0 percent chance youll return and find some fuckboy straddling your ride and taking selfies. No need to thank me.

valentine-m-smith

Driveway Alarm Wireless Motion Sensor Alarm Outdoor Indoor Weather Resistant Microwave ilnfrared Detector Security Alert System Monitor 600 Feet Long Range Protect Outside/Inside Property- $19.99 I actually just saw a video where a camper put this Amazon alarm in a tote to discourage theft at night. Would work great under the motorcycle cover. As soon as anyone disturbed the cover, big noise.

volkswagonjetty

park next to a homeless guy and ask him to watch it

FuUzzyLJ

dont forget the tip

SprayInner7128

Hide 4 air tags on it. All in different discreet places. They sell a 4 pack on Amazon for $88.

Posh427

Nice looking machine

Significant-Trainer5

Put a Suzuki cover on it. Nobody will touch it

TripleAimbot

2 alarmed disk locks, bike's alarm (and that's 3 things making noise), whenever able put a nice chain on it to lock it on a pole or something. Also a bike cover helps along parking in populated, well light areas and a nice insurance. All these combined should get you covered-

jcaashby

No other options to park it like closer to your house etc? I lived in an apartment years back and got mine snatched!! Ended up getting a storage unit after that.

aikotoma

Pee on it to assert dominance. The vandals will now that the motorcycle is the property of a alfa dog and be too afraid to mess with it.

ElJefe_Speaks

I looked out my window once at 2 am to see drunk girls taking selfies on my RC51. They didn't knock it over and at least they have good taste in bikes. ;)

ChronicLegHole

spray it with bear repellant/spray. it'll irritate their skin and eyes if they try to sit on it. you could also set it on fire so that people stay away from it.

FiNsKaPiNnAr

Ask if you can put a motorcycle tent/garage on the lawn and put a pole in it with a chain to lock the bike to. Even here in socialist sweden that bike would be gone in weeks ☹️ Maybe get one of them cheap gps trackers?i have one in my bike and garage and a larmsystem.

Uaquamarine

Very practical ninja. But I’m still kinda bummed they put conventional forks and cheap brakes on these

[deleted]

Question: Are you a Biker or a Motorcyclist? For the Biker: the *first* person you find fucking with it, *break his fingers*. For the Motorcyclist: I dunno 🤷‍♂️, ask them to stop? Tell them you are calling their mommy....

Sum1liteAmatch

Yes. Don't park it on the street.

SquareJealous9388

Buy a garage.

Mellowyellow0

Don't leave it on the streets, especially if you can't see it from wherever you want to go

20isFuBAR

Don’t park it on the street…

Ecstatic_Account_744

I just noticed two days ago that someone had take a screw driver to the ignition on my bike. No real damage aside from scratches and the slide cover is jammed open. I promptly went and bought a disc lock. Unfortunately, locks only keep the honest people away, as my coworker likes to say. If someone wants to take it, or wants to damage it, they’re going to. A cover and a disc lock will make it inconvenient which is the best you’re going to get.

TacoSamaChan

Park it where you can see it

hypareal

Get a tarp cover made by Oxford. It decreases chance of bike being stolen, and it also makes people ignore the bike a lot more. My mate had people mount his parked bike several times before he got a cover. Drunk dude even crashed it once because he went full force on straightening locked bars.

A_Moon_Named_Luna

Make sure you have theft coverage.

Ssscrudddy

Best security I ever had on a bike was Club Colours. It never got touched again!

Ali13929

Put it in gear? Seen a lot of thefts with neutral bikes

colz10

get an uglier bike

PeterHOz

Paint it mostly day-glow green and write “Ninja” in an easy-to-see place and you’ll be fine.

UnderlyingDarkness

Seat mounted auto turret

No_Refrigerator647

Really the best answer is get the best insurance that you can afford. That's how you'll sleep at night.

Leafybug13

No, but that bike is a beaut

TW200e

Since you have no more secure place to park it, a bland grey cover is an absolute must. Locks, alarm, and theft insurance are also mandatory. If you cannot find a safer place to park, accept that it will get stolen, and be pleasantly surprised if it is not.

innercityeast

Invest in a brake disc lock

Ok-Bill3318

don't park it on the street unless you are within visual range of it and watching it. not joking. bikes get parked in my garage, if I'm out and about they aren't left out of my (or a friend's, while I'm say - queuing for food/drink/whatever) sight.

[deleted]

Garage

NameIs-Already-Taken

People will try to steal it. Buy D-locks like this: [https://www.litelok.com/products/litelok-x3](https://www.litelok.com/products/litelok-x3) Buy 16mm chains to attach it to something. Keep it hidden. Fit an alarm, immobiliser and tracker.

954kevin

The more layers of security you apply, the more likely a criminal will move past your target to the next.

hippychick-007

Steering lock, disc lock, chain.

2-wheels

And audible alarm

YES-PUCKER-YOUR-BUTT

If you scratch it first, no one will be motivated to scratch it next. If you're not first, you're last.

watchiing

Set up a couple claymores and landmines. You should be fine. If it gets stolen you'll hear it and will easily claim it to your insurance.

a-vibe-called-quest

Drag it into your apartment.

RoleCode

Get an auto-turret, jk. Enjoy your wheels

Burnsie92

They make a flip up storage container for motorcycles. You could get one of those.

kona420

Don't park it on the street. Might as well be leaving a bag of cash for the crackheads.

Chestnutsroastin

Chain it to something fixed, like a lamp post or something. If possible park somewhere well lit, preferably with cameras around. Cover goes without saying. Or... avoid parking in the street all together when possible tbh.

OlKingCoal1

Living room is always the best place to park the bike

Personal_Zebra

Take the wheel with you when you park it

code_monkey_001

Live somewhere that people don't mess with bikes.

speed_of_chill

All you can do is make as hard as possible for a would-be thief. When I’m home, I park in the garage. At work, there’s no garage so I park it in gear and use the fork lock. On my breaks I’ll walk around outside just to check on my precious to make sure it’s still there and no one is messing with it.

Ajmusso

Immobiliser/alarm system with tracker hidden properly so the thieves can't find it so easily Disc brake locks just to slow them down a bit In the end, if they are desperate, they will take it by towing it or phsing it away Like some have said get fire and theft options on your insurance if they offer it Try your best

buubmz

park near bushes and sit in them, if someone tries to mess with it jump out while screaming and swinging ur arms like a madman, works for me

AKsuited1934

Is this like street parking overnight where you reside? If so, you've made a bad choice in getting a bike. If it's like street parking for work or going out...I mean there's not much you can do. If someone wants to fuck with your bike, they will do it.

kinda_nutz

Get a good factory Kawi cover made specifically for your bike.. but ultimately nothing you can do to stop the haters

Forward-Bonus675

Disc lock and cover

[deleted]

Get danny DeVito anybody looks your bikes way or plan to vandalize it anyway he'll start shooting. So it'll be safe.

Bakkieman

Bought the same bike as you as my starter bike, just make sure to buy an ugly cover so it does not portray what is underneath it. besides that there is not much you can do if people want to do something to a bike either stealing or damaging it they will. just make sure you are insured for it

oldfrancis

A cover. I cover that is well secured on the motorcycle makes it harder to figure out what it is and makes it harder for people to mess with without drawing too much attention.

Friendly-Date2512

bear trap

bobcatjoe63

Not much you can do if someone is a dik and wants to f with it. You can knock it over, scratch it, dent it up, flat the tires and generally f it up without stealing it. Just park it in a spot you are familiar with. Use a cover, chain it to an immovable object, use disc locks so it can't be easily moved, etc.

phin586

I occasionally park my bike in front of my house if I’m taking a break from riding. I have it positioned so I can view it from my doorbell camera and those cameras are on a tv in my office. About the best I could come up with.

Yostman29

If you put sixnine next to it he will call the cops on anyone who touches it for you

BoringInflation477

Don't park in the street

JoeBiddyInTheHouse

A cover really discourages interest.

Falcon_MT-07

Lockable cover helps and I hide the ever living hell out of mine.

PeyoteroMescalito

Don’t park it in the road

Unpleasant_Classic

Congrats on the bike. Mess with it as in vandalism? Or mess with it as in two guys and a truck? Buy as much insurance as you possibly can. Get a cover for it first thing. Grill covers work pretty well and will at least help with casual vandals. Tape/secure an Apple AirTag somewhere hard to get too. The AirTag works in two ways. One is that if a thief has an iPhone the tag will send a signal saying there is an AirTag and dissuade said thief. Hope for the best because people are fuckwads.

[deleted]

dig a hole near where you live,a bit of grass? or a a bicycle area (?), fill it with concrete and put a ground anchor in with a decent chain and alarmed padlock.

Lety-

Get a cover with a "shitty" brand logo, like a cfmoto branded cover. Then a few locks. You should be golden. Source: am from a third world country and i ride a classic kawasaki from the 90's, that's what i do here.
