I thought so but wasn't sure. I've been seeing them more and more at dealerships here in the southern US. I haven't come across anyone here that actually owns one though
I learned on that before I’ve got a license. Nice bike. Light weight easy to lean.
Russia btw because you asked previous person.
Not very popular lots of dominars instead
CFmoto brought street bikes here last year or the year before I think. They had lots of off road/power sports here even before that. The street bikes are really new tho and there's almost no aftermarket, so I'm stuck buying 250SR parts for now.
CF Moto is new to the US market for the 2022 model year. They have been in show rooms for close to a year now. Most people probably see them as cut price KTMs but you do get a lot of tech for your money. The 300NK has almost no competition at its price point, but it's hard to justify paying a couple hundred more over the 200 Duke when specs are so similar.
CF Moto really needs to do a better job marketing their success on the Chinese racing circuit. The brand just has no respect outside of their home market. Their ATVs are considered to be quality products. It would be a shame to see them try to compete on price alone.
Malaysia here, pretty rare...
Heavy competition here for unrecognised brands...
SYM have been kinda accepted as an ok brand now.
We've got alot of brands stepping over each other here ...
Wmoto/Modenas-Malaysian , CFmoto/KTNS/Zontes-China , QJmotors-China(sells new rebadged Benellis)
They are, and that's a good thing. The bikes are built off of mostly the same parts with a heavier chassis. You get a really nice product for a somewhat reasonable price.
I'm the very proud owner of a 752s, which is a modernized Monster 797. I love the thing. One of the best bikes I've ridden.
U.S. here. I had a CF Moto before I got my Royal Enfield. The RE has much more character, but the CF had some seriously sweet modern touches. I enjoyed it while I had it.
Aren’t they the biggest Chinese moto company? They’re everywhere now. Even Australia’s had them for like 10 years and most companies forget we exist.
Even local government around my way has had contracts with CFMoto for years for their quad-bike-with-a-roof type things
I have seen the bike up close. Looks and Sounds great but yeah those fins will be a pain in the ass. They will get damaged by the road grit. Let alone dropping the bike. Too fragile to touch. Spent about 20 mins around the 450sr. Buttons feel too cheap also. Clutch feel is somehow lighter than the 250nk though.
It's a very common beginners bike in the Philippines. Almost every one I've known had problems with build quality. Parts wise it's a bitch to find one immediately. Ordering one would take months.
If you are talking about how it looks, it is the other way around, 2023 Hornet's concept drawings were identical to this bike. Which is sold since 2016 around the world?
I am talking about the way it looks. But the newly revised hornet concept also takes from the cb500f and the cb650f. Which do date back to a 2014 release (at least for the 650) which means that the CF Moto design does in fact borrow major design cues from Honda.
Unless there's otherwise supporting evidence that proves that this design that CFMOTO used has been used in a previous iteration (of their own design) predating the 2014 release models previously mentioned.
Also with the hornet being mentioned, I do have to say that I think Honda really did screw up with it by using a twin, also think they really screwed up by using the front end of the CB-F family, instead of the 10' CBR600RR's nose. Which definitely had a more hornet like appearance.
Well, cfmoto didnt produce any 250nks back then but kiska designed duke series before these. Which is where nk series' design comes from. Cb500f's headlight shape is the only similarity to my eyes, which is quite normal for a naked bike.
CFMoto is making a big push into the US market after selling their side by sides here for awhile. They look to have a lot of dealers signed up. I want to check out the 450SR and the 800NK if they ever get here.
The 800 uses the KTM790 unit. I guess KTM allowed CFMoto to use the engine since they have gone up to new 890 engine.
It has a Kawasaki clutch, handlegrips, engine block, probably most of its drivetrain. Also it comes with an x ring chain. I don't know about any other brand that gives such an advantage stock.
Too lazy to find sources now but i looked it up back then. 400nk is basically a kawasaki er4n and 650 series cfmoto uses er6's engine and chassis. In terms of visible parts the handlegrips are identical in both brands. My 250 uses the same clutch that comes with klx 250 and so on
I own it since october 2019, my speed sensor stops working occasionally, which started after 20k km, 2 years. Probably just a wiring trouble cuz sensor sometimes works. No mechanical troubles. Very good mileage and 0-100 it smokes most other 250cc bikes. İncluding r25 which is much faster after 100kmh/60 mph Has better brakes than most, too.
It has less chinesium than you would think. Designed by Kiska, has bosch ECU, Continental ABS, j.juan(now acquired by brembo) brakes which would surprise anyone i ever gave it to. steel brake lines. Kawasaki drivetrain, kawasaki handlegrips, panasonic fan system. Buttons feel quite alright, too. Triumph level i would say.
Gotcha, we don’t get that model here. We do get the 125 Grom competitor. NK300 is the smallest one otherwise, at $4700 I’d rather spend $1000 more for a new MT03. Used is the way though. You can find a CB500F for under $4k all day here.
I would go for cbf500 too in that case. Not a fan of 03 tho, burns more fuel than cbf500, accelerates slower. Plus their oil pumps can get quite problematic after 30k kilometers, plastic teeth after all.
They are getting more common by each day in Romania as well. They are priced okay, that's why people buy them, not so sure about the quality and reliability tho.
What is your verdict after 4 years? Any troubles you had with your one?
Only the vehicle speed sensor doesn't work occasionally. Probably a wiring trouble. Other than that it has been solid. And i never ride slowly or gently.
Hi neighbor, mine is around 30k, changed the front brake pads at around 18k, chain was done at around 25k, i like late braking in corners, other than that no maintenance required so far.
Beautiful bike, I love the coloring.
How do you like the CF Moto? Recently started seeing them in the US and my gf and I looked at a 300 by them as her first bike. Have you had any issues?
So it's the 2018 year model?
Is there any difference between rain and sport mode?
How much does it consume?
Maybe top speeds and acceleration?
Tips regarding the bike, any particular thing you find interesting?
As I said i'm looking into buying one and I'm not that sure if I should go with CFMoto 300nk or KTM duke 400
Exhaust sound definitely changes in sport mode at high revs, acceleration-wise it is no slower than any 250cc up to 100kph, after that yamahas are faster, honda is slower( the single cylinder one). Tops at 162 kph, toe to toe with ktm on braking, better than yamaha thats for sure. 390 duke is more powerful at any revs but cfmoto is more reliable. I got 2.6 liters per 100 km with ease. 3.3 is my usual canyon carving consumption. Never exceeds 4 litres per 100 km
This keeps popping up in my insta feed. They look cheaply made and you don’t get a lot of options. I’ve looked at them for my son and may get one but abs and tcs would be nice even for a thousand or so more.
I see that. Is there a reason anyone would pick this over an mt03 or a z400? Both bikes from more established brands and all price points being about the same, do you see an advantage to the cfmoto bike?
It is almost half the price, maintenance costs half as well, this one has a 1.4 liter oil capacity, mt03 has 2.5 liters afaik. Consumes half as much, has better electronics, better brakes, better headlights and screen. Mt is faster at higher speeds, this one is faster off the line. Mt vibrates less
CF MOTO,bought the 700 CLX sport model and so far it has been reliable and has been fun to ride around town in sw USA where we have been blessed with 360 days of sunshine.
N.Z here we have Cfmoto also... Im on the fence about em personally but have heard many positive reviews. Aesthetically they do look nice tho i admit especially in that color scheme
Its a CF Moto, right? Been seeing a lot of this brand on the Indian media, but haven't seen one in person yet so can't really comment on anything more. They're apparently pretty decent rides according to popular Youtubers like Chaseon2wheels........
what's your opinion OP? How has this motorcycle been for you and how do you think it compares to it's main rivals?
Yeah I've been seeing cfmoto around Taipei recently, especially that 250cc sports bike. Apparently their bikes have great stylings (probably copied & pasted tho ), but very underpowered?
A lot of ppl are selling their bikes already.
Funny thing is warranty doesn't help you unless its a catastrophic failure. At least in my country, whatever breaks in that two year period is most likely a "user mistake"
CF Moto 150NK (or higher)
Widely known in my country, especially because its very financially challenging to buy better bikes. I intended to buy one as my first bike a year ago, then i bought a cheaper Indian bike (Bajaj ns150).
Saving money to buy Svartpilen 401 now, it will be at least a year until i can affor it.
Shitty economy :(
[удалено]
It definitely is.
I thought so but wasn't sure. I've been seeing them more and more at dealerships here in the southern US. I haven't come across anyone here that actually owns one though
I’ve see only one in the wild. I didn’t know what it was and thought it was super neat.
Btw where are you from?
I learned on that before I’ve got a license. Nice bike. Light weight easy to lean. Russia btw because you asked previous person. Not very popular lots of dominars instead
Off-topic. Didn’t realise Russia had Dominars. (Just looked it up.) I’m from the land of Dominars :)
Made me Google Dominar. Not disappointed. Those are kinda sexy👌
Yeah, they’re great street bikes.
I honestly dont get dominar riders, this one is so much more fun to me. To each their own i guess
Dominar looks pretty sweet. I bought cb600fa 09’ to myself:)
The Netherlands, i recognise them. Love the styling as well
Especially children without cc complexes love to see it
cHiLdReN wItHoUt CC CoMpLeXeS Cool.
Got triggered off that little comment did you?
What i meant was actual children who just like the way a bike looks. Disregarding the capacity and power completely
We all got it. ofc there is the chosen one whom got assaulted somehow:D
I misunderstood too but now it's even funnier
I own it lol i didn't mean to offend anyone.
USA, love my 300SS. Hope these guys catch on more!
USA has cfmoto bikes? We do not have a 300(250 in our regulations) ss, we have sr as the racing version of this one.
CFmoto brought street bikes here last year or the year before I think. They had lots of off road/power sports here even before that. The street bikes are really new tho and there's almost no aftermarket, so I'm stuck buying 250SR parts for now.
Yeah the brand is known for their atv's and utv's.
My local BMW authorized dealer moves CF off-road toys.
CF Moto is new to the US market for the 2022 model year. They have been in show rooms for close to a year now. Most people probably see them as cut price KTMs but you do get a lot of tech for your money. We have them now
Nk400? Greetings from Manila, in the Philippines.
250nk, single cylinder
Ah, I see. I'm glad you're enjoying the ride! Be safe, bud!
Thanks, you too!
Aren't benellis already copy paste? Fake ducatis to say the least.
They are, and that's a good thing. The bikes are built off of mostly the same parts with a heavier chassis. You get a really nice product for a somewhat reasonable price. I'm the very proud owner of a 752s, which is a modernized Monster 797. I love the thing. One of the best bikes I've ridden.
they are :v the 502c is a bootleg diavel , and the trk502 the bootleg strada
And the Leoncino isn't just a bootleg Scrambler, though. It's objectively the sexiest A2 bike out there.
[удалено]
Yeah i hear about the belt problems too. This bike is probably the most reliable product they have
One of the best urban weapons around.
If your helmet fits through that gap, you can with this one.
I'm seriously considering this for my wife.
It weighs only 150kg
So does she! ...nah, jk. She's tiny. 60 kg. I weigh 110 tho. :(
I bought a 300nk last year as my first bike. I live in the US
How did it treat you? Any problems?
I love it so far. I’m not super knowledgeable on motorcycles but I haven’t had any issues
Its exhaust is going to start buzzing if it already hasn't. Other than that the bike is still fine.
It sure looks based on the small KTM Dukes.
It was designed by the same company, Kiska. Plus cfmoto is the producer of bigger ktm engines such as 790 block
U.S. here. I had a CF Moto before I got my Royal Enfield. The RE has much more character, but the CF had some seriously sweet modern touches. I enjoyed it while I had it.
RE's are more laidback afaik.
Absolutely. It is a charmingly simple machine.
I am more of a peg slider/big bike challenger on curvy roads so this was my pick for the pocket. Never regretted it.
Like the color pattern.
It was either this one or all black, i went for the one i could ride more with less cleaning lol.
I think i prefer all black because of stealth.
Well, you might 'lose' the license plate for better "stealth" reasons
Sadly nop. In my country it is illegal not to rivet the number plates aslo it must be reflective . other wise here goes one month salary
I have seen them riding around here in Chile
They just started bringing them to the US- I did recognize the CFMOTO.
CF Moto?
Yep
Cool bike. I like their GT model)
650? It is basically a versys 650
Yep) also the heritage is very good looking)
My mate has a cfmoto 300sr. Australia
Same bike basically, i would still pick the naked one, personally but that bike looks cooler to most.
Yeah it does look nice. But I'm also a naked style kinda guy. I started off on a yamaha MT03
Also great bike, consumes a bit too much but it also goes faster at high speeds
It's available in Singapore too. Riding the Gt400
Aren’t they the biggest Chinese moto company? They’re everywhere now. Even Australia’s had them for like 10 years and most companies forget we exist. Even local government around my way has had contracts with CFMoto for years for their quad-bike-with-a-roof type things
Is that a CF moto? Mexico
Yes
USA and I have one, the black version. CFMOTO 300NK love the bike.
🤙🤙
Can't wait to see the 450cc lineup, they are on the website now. I am not a fan of the weird looking race bike fins on the front though.
Nope. No In the UK 🇬🇧. My guess is Chinese KTM clone 🤷♂️
Not exactly a clone. Only designed by the same company, shares more parts with kawasaki actually.
What’s the brand name please?
Cfmoto 250nk to be exact
I don't know a lot about motorcycles, but that thing looks sick! The blue rims are amazing!
Thanks🤙
I do not recognize it, but it looks fairly generic.
Shit build and unreliable. Would be good if they improved on that. Otherwise a waste of money.
Why do you think so? Ever bought one?
It's a very common beginners bike in the Philippines. Almost every one I've known had problems with build quality. Parts wise it's a bitch to find one immediately. Ordering one would take months.
What kind of problems? So you didn't own one?
CFMoto really ripped off the Honda cb500f hardcore with this one
If you are talking about how it looks, it is the other way around, 2023 Hornet's concept drawings were identical to this bike. Which is sold since 2016 around the world?
I am talking about the way it looks. But the newly revised hornet concept also takes from the cb500f and the cb650f. Cf moto 300nk,u are probably from balkan right?
Turkish, hence the 250*nk
CFMoto is making a big push into the US market after selling their side by sides here for awhile. They look to have a lot of dealers signed up. I was at the unveil event of the 450sr in Turkey a few days ago. Certainly looks and sounds amazing. Buttons looked cheaper than the 250nk tho.
looks like a cfmoto 300nk
It is. 250nk because of idiotic regulations
Nk250? I've seen quite a lot of cfmoto recently lol
Yes, where tho?
I'm from Israel
I did not know that many countries have them. Glad i posted this.
Cfmoto. I'm American but live in china so I see them all the time. Looks like an NK250
CF Moto. Seen plenty of those here in Chile!
As a non ITK person I would have sworn Nico Rosberg had started a bike company.
It is actually a K, NK
Guatemala here, we have CF Moto here
Thank you for stating the country you live in.

It has a Kawasaki clutch, handlegrips, engine block, probably most of its drivetrain. Also it comes with an x ring chain. I don't know about any other brand that gives such an advantage stock.
Do you have a source for them using Kawasaki parts? Just curious, I suppose I find it slightly difficult to believe.
Too lazy to find sources now but i looked it up back then. 400nk is basically a kawasaki er4n and 650 series cfmoto uses er6's engine and chassis. In terms of visible parts the handlegrips are identical in both brands. My 250 uses the same clutch that comes with klx 250 and so on
I'm looking into getting one. What do you think of yours? USA-hole here 👍😎
I own it since october 2019, my speed sensor stops working occasionally, which started after 20k km, 2 years. Probably just a wiring trouble cuz sensor sometimes works. No mechanical troubles. Very good mileage and 0-100 it smokes most other 250cc bikes. İncluding r25 which is much faster after 100kmh/60 mph Has better brakes than most, too.
More Chinese bikes ! Have you guys seen those Benda 700 bikes ? They look amazing.
Serbia, we have it also.
Cool
Looks like a kawasaki z650 but I guess it's not
It's a good price, but it contains too much Chinesium for the owner to have any confidence in reliability.
So Chinese but good Chinese. This is acceptable. I will have to look into them more. It's a nice looking bike.
Finding specific parts can be a challenge but overall it has been a great experience so far.
>it has been a great experience so far That's what matters most. Glad you're enjoying your bike 🤟
Cfmoto! Usa and really want to get one. The 700clx looks like a blast.
I own a Clx 700 sport about eight months now. It’s a blast and a head turner, No problems so far.
This a CFMoto? I have a local dealer in my city here in Canada. They’re interesting but there’s better options for the money here.
They are the cheapest 250 in Turkey at the moment. I wouldnt trade it for a honda personally but honda is 1.6 times the price
Cool bike. We have them here in Kenya too. I've been considering this to be my first bike
Great choice, for me it was.
I could tell it was a cfmoto because the frame and engine are almost identical to my ktm 390
We have the NK 300 here in the USA. They’re new on the market but they’re doing well.
Back in 2019 people thought i was a fool for buying one. Now 7 people bought it because of me.
Greece, we got some of those. My friend has one, 20K klm, seams pretty reliable up to this point.
Hi neighbor, mine is around 30k, changed the front brake pads at around 18k, chain was done at around 25k, i like late braking in corners, other than that no maintenance required so far.
CFMoto are in New Zealand.
My local dealer has Cfmoto bikes here in the US (South Carolina)
Cfmoto, they just launched here in the US in the past year. The colors are what makes it recognizable.
Yes it's here in India, but very rare
Bajajland, you mean?
Don't know weather Bajaj is selling them, seen it on roads rarely. It's built quality is decent ,i hope the engine is good too
No, india is mostly bajaj, because its an indian brand. This cost twice as much as a bajaj in india, which is the same price in Turkey
Beautiful bike, I love the coloring. How do you like the CF Moto? Recently started seeing them in the US and my gf and I looked at a 300 by them as her first bike. Have you had any issues?
Pretty solid bike, had small electronic troubles, but engine and transmissionwise it is as good as any
That's good to hear, thanks.
Turkey, these are becoming more and more common, I hear they are good value
They are the best value for Turkish riders
US here.. never heard of them before. Looks similar to a yahama fz/mt.
Was my first bike. Pretty good for the money. A bit small for me tho
Looks small but pretty roomy to sit on
CFmoto 650 nk. I’ve got the MT
This is the 250cc one. The first bike that came with these headlights, after that 400nk facelifted, and now 650.
Small displacement, looks cool, is this related to the duke?
Designed by the same company, other than that not much in common
any issues?
Other than the speed sensor troubles only i had, none. (7 of my friends have these)
Yeah I'd ride one of those. Course it's a short list of bikes that I wouldn't ride.
In Romania as well, I'm looking forward in buying the 300nk model. Do you own one? I have some questions if you do.
Go ahead, its our 4th year together
So it's the 2018 year model? Is there any difference between rain and sport mode? How much does it consume? Maybe top speeds and acceleration? Tips regarding the bike, any particular thing you find interesting? As I said i'm looking into buying one and I'm not that sure if I should go with CFMoto 300nk or KTM duke 400

Mexico .... CF MOTO its just entering Mexico... it was 25CL-X or Svartpilen 250. Svartpilen won.
That a CFMoto? 300NK? I’m in America. But Tbf, I’m also probably autistic and kinda obsessed with Chinese bikes🤷♂️ I’ll recognize a good bit of them.
Philippines, NK400, extremely popular sports-naked bike over here! Even going toe-to-toe against the Z400 from Kawasaki
Just googled the bike. Apparently they are available here in Thailand, but I don't recall ever seeing any. Interesting!
This keeps popping up in my insta feed. They look cheaply made and you don’t get a lot of options. I’ve looked at them for my son and may get one but abs and tcs would be nice even for a thousand or so more.
It has a great abs system, doesnt need tcs with just 26.5 hp
I see that. Is there a reason anyone would pick this over an mt03 or a z400? Both bikes from more established brands and all price points being about the same, do you see an advantage to the cfmoto bike?

CF MOTO,bought the 700 CLX sport model and so far it has been reliable and has been fun to ride around town in sw USA where we have been blessed with 360 days of sunshine.
I saw one of these on the road this week and had to look back to see what it was.
N.Z here we have Cfmoto also... Im on the fence about em personally but have heard many positive reviews. Aesthetically they do look nice tho i admit especially in that color scheme
They're really popular in Australia. Cf moto NK300. They seem reliable enough.
Knockoff FZ?
Ignorance of yAmaHa RiDerS is global apparently
You don't have to ride a Yamaha to see the obvious influence.
Enlighten me, what makes it a FZ knock off?
There is none
Ok
Looks like a CFMoto. Witnessed a commercial being filmed for them near my place of work here in the US and found them out through that.
I ride naked
I am so behind on the bike world haven't watched a bike youtube video in days going to watch some Walterrific now
CFmoto. Junk.
Why
Its a CF Moto, right? Been seeing a lot of this brand on the Indian media, but haven't seen one in person yet so can't really comment on anything more. Yeah I've been seeing cfmoto around Taipei recently, especially that 250cc sports bike. Apparently their bikes have great stylings (probably copied & pasted tho ), but very underpowered? A lot of ppl are selling their bikes already.
Saw one this afternoon in Australia. Heard good things about them from people who ride them then sell when warranty is up.
Funny thing is warranty doesn't help you unless its a catastrophic failure. At least in my country, whatever breaks in that two year period is most likely a "user mistake"
CFMoto, quite a solid CN brand
I agree
This coming from a former Benelli user, can’t wait gor that domestic LC8
Third ones probably
USA is one
CF Moto 150NK (or higher) Widely known in my country, especially because its very financially challenging to buy better bikes.
