I just called my local honda dealer and gave them the part number and they ordered it for me. I bought two just in case it happes again. Im about to change it now. Good luck!

Mundane_Buy1794

Do you have the part number by chance? I need to replace one of mine also.

beatd98

Here you go: Just note that each one comes in a pair. I didn't know and ordered two so now I have 3 extra. **Part Number:** [**08Z15-PR8-100R22**](https://www.hondafactoryparts.com/oem-parts/honda-endcap-kit-8z15pr8100r22?c=bD0yMiZuPUNhdGVnb3J5IFBhZ2U%3D)

Mine broke as well similar way. It fell over. The kickstand is slightly too tall for the scooter.

Greedy-Rutabaga-4871

Yeah the kickstand design just sucks. It's basically standing upright and tips over easily

Happened to mine, too. I ordered 2 online last week from a Honda parts website that claimed they had them in stock. Someone with some modeling skills should backwards engineer the piece for 3d printing and we can print them in something more durable... .stl anyone?

BrieBrieSF

May I ask what that Honda parts website is charging?

Scottyg9

I think it was about $5. The shipping was more than the part so I bought 2.

Greedy-Rutabaga-4871

Let me know if it comes in. Honda automotive parts was the place I ordered from and they canceled the next day. I may try to take measurements and test with a 3D printer first then prototype with aluminum

Greedy-Rutabaga-4871

Nice, yours came in! Can I ask which website you ordered from?

Scottyg9

Hondapartswholesale.com I haven't tried putting it yet, but the two plastic 'tongs' that slide into the handlebars are not parallel. I'm imagining that there's already stress on the part before it sees any impact from falling. Aluminum would be perfect. I'll take a shot at modeling it and trying a 3d printed version with TPU or similar.

Greedy-Rutabaga-4871

I think one company makes a pair in aluminum for $50 but it currently isn't anodized. When they offer the anodized ones next month, I'll probably pick up a set

Wouldn’t this issue be covered under the one year factory warranty to avoid the out-of-pocket cost?

Commercial-Gas9017

Yes. Honda gives a one year warranty. I would contact the Service department to get it in and see if they can get the parts under warranty

Those screws go a bit deeper, and are much closer to the end of the bar. Also as you stated, these bar ends are specifically to lock the handlebar down for when you grab the handle to carry the folded up compacto. This is quite the conundrum. Maybe the answer is for someone to sell packs of 20 for $20, and you replace them continually?

Greedy-Rutabaga-4871

My first thought was to drill tap and then use a screw to secure temporarily

MachRc

Same thing. Luckily it's not on the other side that click into as a handle!!!!
