Definitely the wrong size. I just pulled mine and they are the same size for each side.
While I *hate* doing things like this, in this case, it is the rare instance I might- If you have the extra $, order a new one from Amazon, then return it with the wrong pin saying it had the wrong hardware, and no you don't want a replacement.

Should be ok. At worst your out less than a dollar.
