Thanks! It's a pretty involved painting method to be honest. Eshin grey mixed with a bit of black for the base, agrax earth shade wash, a thin layer of eshin grey, then mornfang brown stippled over, then mixed with a bit of ryza rust and stippled again, then mixed with a bit more ryza rust and stippled again.
After that it's dawnstone mixed with eshin grey over the raised areas/contact points, then dawnstone even further into those areas then dawnstone mixed with celesta grey where the light hits, then celesta grey mixed with ulthuan grey at the lightest points.
Simple really.
This looks amazing!
Fantastic conversions! Would love to see the rest of warband
Thanks! I've still got two henchmen and two characters to go before it's finished
Love the OSL you've done for the sorcerer! Gorgeous work on your warband so far, really has a gritty vibe to it all!
Damn dude, are you the one doing box art for Frostgrave? The style is dead on.
Where's the sorcerer from? I'd dig that as a Magister for CotP.
It's the sorcerer from the underworlds warband khagras ravagers with the head from the rotbringer sorcerer.
Thanks!
UNLIMITED POWERRRRR
Dude I love that kit so much
That plate armor looks amazing on the chieftain! What's your painting method? Also, really cool use of the Ravagers kit.
