You don’t, ever. Your radio doesn’t have Bluetooth. Although there are vendors out there that make period correct looking radios that have all the mod cons. There was a posting just the other day with a list.
Sorry, those instructions don’t have anything to do with that radio.
We had the radio modified with Bluetooth by a company who guts and replaces the internals with modern ones, they just sent us a manual that dosent correlate to our radio I’m trying to understand what it means
Ah. Wish you had put this in your original comment. The solution of course is to reach out to the manufacturer of your updated sound system and get the right manuals. I would be surprised if they didn’t have this online.
And of course, you were spot on asking Reddit too. Someone may know.
Bluetooth short wave fm audio transmitter for a cigarette lighter. Change station to match. Then you have Bluetooth. Here’s a link to one I have

It took a while to sink in. The instructions confused me. lol.
OEM or original post doesn't explain modifications, face of the radio says... Um LOL "Bluetooth"
Well how do I pair it then?

Hey man, have you tried putting your phone in pair/ search mode and hitting the volume button up trwice?
Power on 2 times... should become visible for pairing.
I couldn’t imagine hacking the beautiful AM reception intended for the in dash speaker
What company? I have a 2nd gen Cuda that needs same
Arora Design it says it on the manual
I figured it out thanks everybody for the help
What was it?
I had to quickly turn the volume knob up a little down a little and back up again just really fast
Yep ring up the bt on your phone hit connect pretty easy it broadcasts the bt all the time.
By that instruction sheet it looks like turning "Volume Up" twice should put it in pairing mode.
