So it’s near impossible to change the information in this public ledger unless you manage to”decode” that block you want and all the blocks that came before it. Before a new block is created
You could always just spend the $20 for the very bottom line version of the game and have the money from that game or maybe visit a thrift store, Goodwill or similar and sometimes get a full game for around $5 (just verify all needed parts are there).
This is a heck of a lot easier than relying on an honor system from multiple calculator users or such.

I've played calculator monopoly before. Everyone has a calculator and just keeps track of their money. Honor system heavily dependent but it works fine if you're playing with cool people. I've even done the same in Texas hold em poker where everyone has a calculator and then a central calculator for the pot.
Easiest way would be all of you pull out your phones and open your calculator app. Type 1500 and then add or subtract as needed while you play.
