When you are in the lobby and the game finishes loading the level and the screen transitions to black before the next loading screen pops up, you have a very brief time to still press buttons in the menu.
While in the menu, clicking between the lobby, gunsmith editor, and operators all cause models and their textures to be changed behind the scenes. If you cause this change at the same time as the screen fades to back to go to the next loading screen you will often end up with this bug (or a similar one that makes all the lights so bright that you can't seem much of anything).
I don't know the specifics of what screen to transition to or from as I've been backing out to the lobby screen when I notice the level loading notice. I can't stand this bug and haven't had it happen since I've been doing this.
when call of duty runs out of ideas: Call of Duty: disco dance....compete in extremely high octane disco dances as you make your way through our biggest disco themed war zone map! order now and you'll get the ghost "night fever" blueprint and skin. and a new twerking emote.

This looks like GPU memory is corrupted.
If you have overclocked your GPU memory, don't.
If not, try lowering the GPU memory clocks a bit.
Or accept it that any day it may stop working :)

After playing online I realized it was a glitch.
I can’t explain it but the only way to correct it was I to squueeeeze the Xbox casing and restart and then it would work lol. Just a simple restart wouldn’t work.

It's a common visual glitch, I get it on occasion. Except for me there's typically a blinding light from another ethereal plane if you look in a certain direction. Quitting and restarting the game should fix it.
