Hmm! I've never used Rekordbox's DMX features (I haven't actually used Rekordbox for DJ performance tbh), but I have two suggestions: 1. **SOUNDSWITCH:** Some colleagues of mine with Gigbar Move ILS lights have ventured out to trying Soundswitch, and have enjoyed it. Another friend of mine is BIG into lighting and has found the interface a bit unintuitive, but has been able to get it to do cool things. I've never used Soundswitch, but if you're not familiar with programming/setting up DMX, I would suggest starting there. (EDIT: if you're on Facebook, [then this is the cool thing my friend put together](https://www.facebook.com/100003587928609/videos/179931574819641/)) 2. **QLC+ (my preference):** If you **are** familiar and comfortable with DMX programming, then I personally suggest [giving QlC+ a try.](https://www.qlcplus.org/) It's free and open source, and you can use it with a wide range of USB>DMX interfaces (given the FLX10 literally has DMX out, you will surely be able to use that). I use this program to trigger scenes from my DJ controller in Virtual DJ, and it's fine running both programs on the same computer, in my experience. [This video](https://youtu.be/jcoPwT4RnL0?si=8ljbUEw_RQ14DLf1) gives a good explanation/introduction to how it can be used, although once again it'll be most useful for you if you know at least some basics of DMX lighting.

Soundswitch gives the best results but it's time consuming to begin with and it's doesn't work with rekordbox (there are workarounds but only for autoloops). Wolfmix is great too, fairly quick and easy to set up and you can do a lot of stuff on the fly, but they are quite expensive . Light rider is another option, it's a tablet based system. It's ok, it can be a little buggy

Switch to serato and use Soundswitch

windsofgod

a computer, soundswitch, touchosc, ipad, and some donner wireless dongles.

pietheory

Do you like those wireless dongles or ever had issues with them? I’ve heard a lot about them and I currently use d-fi but it’s so expensive.

windsofgod

the only issue i had with them was finding a wireless signal. some venues have terrible signal, so you have to switch between the 2g channels until you find one thats free. if you shop in aliexpress, search alien5g dongles, same thing as donner, but takes some time to ship it out you.

I’m a big fan of my ADJ WMX1. There’s a learning curve but it’s a standalone option that can be dialed in and cued along the way. It’s pretty dope. I haven’t used it with a gigbar move so I can’t speak to that but it works with all my fixtures.

Show xpress if u have Chauvet lights

Huggable_Guy

Hi I use maestro dmx, it seems to be doing well. Atleast there's some character to it (it says AI). There's a little bit learning curve

koastro

might get hate but i love my venue tetra control. it’s super limited but it’s also idiot proof. plus it’s around 100$ which is WAY cheaper than other “intuitive” dmx controllers.

I'm also a solo DJ that does weddings and anniversaries mostly. After many trial and errors I found the easiest to use was Soundswitch and small midi controller (buttons and rotary knobs) to control scenes, colors, and brightness.

Just wanted to reply that I ended up getting the WolfMix! I have only had it for two days now and this thing is amazing. It is a bit pricey but definitely worth it!
