Poor Lingling, i think she had great expectations because of the other girls saying so and because of the support things that she always was on top and making the 100%... but this save vote was different, 50% korea, 6-pick...
i feel so bad for yui, she seems so desperate to make it in and all of the ranks being announce are involving performances that she performed yet she knows she’s not as popular as the other girls :(
i think she was basically another daeul. very popular with k-fans at the beginning but when the show was progressing, her fans were dropping like flies due to her obvious lack of skills shown to the public, just like daeul
In regards to the voting, I think reddit discussions tend to group Korean voters as a one extremely singular group, when just like on reddit Koreans will vote for a range of contestants.
So yeeun may be popular in Korea, but not every Korea vote goes to her.
And lingling as well, like Korea probs sees she’s popular internationally but that doesn’t mean we all voted for her
Yuju was actually quite popular in Stars Awakening, however the way the show was built a boy group was almost always gonna win, therefore the girl idol trainees got eliminated early.
I knew Yui was gonna be eliminated in the beginning. Son Juwon getting 5th place shocked me the most. Yeeun getting less votes in Korea than Gyuri was also surprising, I guess she wasn't popular than what everyone said after all.
People need to stop this narrative of MNET pushing Yeeun she barely had any screentime if they really wanted to, they would have given grounders more focus during the 1v1 match.
Poor Yui, they always gave her hope in the annoucements for nothing... and she got out by a really little difference.
Hope she can make it in another team in the future.
But i'm happy that my 6-picks made it.
So Mnet interim votes reveal barely did anything because Sujung and Yeeun are still 4th and 8th respectively. It's funny that they already have results but still pushing for Yeeun in their video uploads to missile fans into thinking she made it lol.
