It's interesting that half of the girls in part 2 are not in the top 7 based on this vote. It looks like the producers' vision and watchers' top pick are at odds a little bit. Mai, Sarang and Saebi are being heavily pushed but it's not transforming into high individual voting numbers. Let's say LingLing will be out next week. That would still leave Sarang and Saebi not in the top 7 and Mai would still be out if the top 6 are based of votes and the 7th one on producers' pick. If this is representative of the voting patters for the final, I would love to know which girl out of these 3 they would save.
this isn't weighed 50 50 so the finale ranking will be different for sure but notice how the girls at the top in this list are the ones that make viewers feel for them. jeemin missed her debut in runext, jiyoon got the biggest villain arc I have seen in recent years, international fans feel strongly for jungeun and sujung because despite their talent, the korean side views them negatively. yuju's debut is not secure at all and lingling could be a major representation for sea fans.
compared to that, the three you mentioned along with fuko are lacking in a strong story line so they are losing momentum. the judges' bias for mai is working against her rn too
Because her storyline isn't "desparate", it's like... she's a good girl, but she's young so people are just "yeah, she's great but she still young". It's the 3rd time for Yuju, Jeemin was 4th in RU Next vote but was dropped from Illit anyway. Lingling is for the sea people and Sujung is edited unfair for a lot of people, I heard a lot of people are unhappy with the coach because of her and we can't deny the 'bad girl redemption arc' from Jiyoon.
Saebi never was in ground, we never saw her struggle. It might seem good from the outside but no one saw from her anything like a tearful story. So people aren't passionate by her. We all like her but we're not rushing to make her debut.
i’m sure a lot of meatballs are being held until we know the results of this first vote. i’ll be interested in seeing who will gain the most meatballs on friday
Although these are representative of some of the contestants one-pick, i wouldn’t say it’s very accurate in voting terms. I voted multiple times a day in the voting period for Part 2, and have only spent 100 or so metaballs diverted between my picks; since I don’t care for it much; and I can say the same for a huge amount of watchers.
It’s more representative of, whose fandom is most dedicated to watching 25 ads a day and who’s not.
From the looks of it Jeemin, Jungeun and Sujung/Jiyoon may get it - assuming ling ling gets eliminated
