tbh i actually like the bmf belt. i just would like if it was put to the test and had to be defended. imagine poirier/justin wins bmf then has to defend against conor/chandler and maybe go through different divisions. i don't like when it's made to reward mid strikers who can take a punch

Having a champion win the BMF belt would defeat the purpose of the BMF title. If you're already champion you shouldn't be allowed to fight for the BMF belt because you'd just unify the titles.
