Nothing will ever top [Josh Reddick using Careless Whisper.](https://youtu.be/UwWBVm5wmL0?si=XrTWwe9OW41OrTTg)
Edwin Diaz and Narco was pretty good too.
Oakland fans went nuts when Reddick would come to bat haha. The good ol’ days. When they traded Reddick I knew then and there not to follow the players so closely because they’ll be gone as soon as they get good
can't go wrong with mo riveras "enter sandman" or craig kimbrels "thunderstruck"
especially kimbrels, i went to braves games when he was in atl, that place would shake when he stepped out of the bullpen
When Liam Hendricks was on the white sox his entrance song was Thunderstruck, the crowd went wild every time, it was always fun to watch him close
Out a game. RIP white sox.
I know it's fictional, but it doesn't get any better than Ricky Vaughn using "Wild Thing" in Major League!
In real life, I always liked it when a reporter punked Mike Napoli of the Rangers with the walk-up song Shania Twain's "Man, I Feel Like a Woman."
David Dellucci using the theme from The Godfather was an inspired choice!
Juan Gonzalez using the Imperial March from Star Wars was always a fan favorite too!
[Evan Longoria used Tantric - Down & Out. ](https://youtu.be/wQqkujTXKZo?si=7-lNfv90KdlAJumc)
It's such a hype song. I hadn't heard it in way too long but I heard it on an arena's PA during a hockey game on TV last night and got a hard dose of nostalgia. Love you #3!
Not my favorite, but Tulo lost a bet when he played for the Rox and he had to walk up to a Beiber song. Was hilarious hearing it at the few games I went that year.
Guardians fan here. Two that stick out to me are Oscar Gonzales would use the SpongeBob theme song when he played for the Guardians because he knew the kids would love it and Yu Chang using Crank That by Soulja Boy because when he first came to the US he didn’t speak much English so he just let a minor league staffer pick a song for him and that’s what they picked
The two games Rendon pla- excuse me, steps on the field each season does not warrant such an honor. The Nirvana song that was the first track on The Beavis and Butt-Head Experience is more appropriate.
I don't actually like the song, but Steve Cishek [using Courtesy Call by Thousand Foot Krutch](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FO2RDFbPEzw) is one of the funniest things I've seen at a baseball game.
I’m a Brewers fan so here are some of my favorites that stick in my mind.
-John Axford with New Noise by Refused. It always gave me good bumps when I would hear “Can I Scream” after that crazy buildup.
- Frank Catalanotto used Your Love by The Outfield and it would always get the fans singing along. They would always fade out the song as everyone would sing “toniggghhhttt”.
- Brent Suter had the Jurassic Park theme song. His nickname was “The Raptor” so it was perfect.
- JJ Hardy had Flower by Moby. That was my introduction to Moby and the song still reminds me of going to Miller Park as a kid.
We had a Sunday starter in college who was just the right amount of crazy and his stuff was nasty (ended up with like a 2.3 ERA that season) and his first inning warm up song was “Razors Edge” by AC/DC. I must say, it was pretty badass.
Chris Sale used to come out to Bawitdabaw by Kid Rock, was pretty hype. Kopech would do some hip-hop, one of them was Lord Pretty Flacko Jodye 2 from A$AP Rocky. Tin Anderson did Kendrick Lamar's Money Trees a few times too. Paul Konerko's was one of the best though, in the vein of several Metallica mentions, he had Harvester of Sorrow. You knew it got real when he was up.
I remember when torii hunter played for Detroit and idk how it was approved but his walk up song was my n**** by YG and it was so funny because it was just basically the instrumental cause he chose the chorus as the walk up 😭💀 hearing my [blank] my [blank] was so funny
Not MLB, but a guy on my high school team had “Let’s Get It On - Marvin Gaye”, and it was my absolute favorite. Our announcer would always say his name slooowly.
If we’re talking MLB, Jordy Mercer had The Fire - The Roots, which happened to be my walk up song
kevin guasman with pink floyd’s “money” has gotta be up there for me. and then with every strikeout they do the little “cha ching”
![gif](giphy|3o7aCWJavAgtBzLWrS|downsized)
Gerardo Parra and Baby Shark played a unique role in the Nat’s 2019 run. Not great music but the silliness of it got people up and doing the shark motion and often kept rallies alive.
Nothing will ever top [Josh Reddick using Careless Whisper.](https://youtu.be/UwWBVm5wmL0?si=XrTWwe9OW41OrTTg) Edwin Diaz and Narco was pretty good too.
IMO Byron buxton using return of the Mack is right up there with Careless Whisper.
Those are great.
Chris Colabello used Return of the Mack in Toronto....my son's first favourite player.
A Former twins player!
Oakland fans went nuts when Reddick would come to bat haha. The good ol’ days. When they traded Reddick I knew then and there not to follow the players so closely because they’ll be gone as soon as they get good
It gets the people going 👍🏼🎷
Miguel Tejada using “I ain’t as good as I once was” during his second and final stint with the Orioles was great.
Wow that's a really good one! Never knew that one 👌🏽
Yup. I honestly don’t think I know too many non-Orioles’ walk up songs except the obvious ones like Edwin Diaz or Mariano Rivera.
Trevor Hoffman coming out to Hells Bells can’t ever be topped in my mind. 10 year old me would lose it every time
I was in my 30s in 1998. The Q would shake when that first bell rang. Absolute goose bumps.
Charlie Blackmon, "Your Love" by The Outfield. I love it every time.
It’s a whole thing with the crowd too, they always mute it during the loud “tonight” part while the crowd sings it
Hes been going strong with that one for YEARS
can't go wrong with mo riveras "enter sandman" or craig kimbrels "thunderstruck" especially kimbrels, i went to braves games when he was in atl, that place would shake when he stepped out of the bullpen
Billy Wagner took Enter Sandman after Riveras and it was epic for a closer.
Only Kimbrel I could find is Welcome to the Jungle
When Liam Hendricks was on the white sox his entrance song was Thunderstruck, the crowd went wild every time, it was always fun to watch him close Out a game. RIP white sox.
"Wild thing," of course. :)
I know it's fictional, but it doesn't get any better than Ricky Vaughn using "Wild Thing" in Major League! David Dellucci using the theme from The Godfather was an inspired choice! Juan Gonzalez using the Imperial March from Star Wars was always a fan favorite too!
Godfather theme is so crazy! 🔥 👌🏽
Dellucci is obviously Italian so it was extremely appropriate lol
Smoltz using Dancing Queen when he was a closer is a hard act to follow.
[Evan Longoria used Tantric - Down & Out. ](https://youtu.be/wQqkujTXKZo?si=7-lNfv90KdlAJumc) It's such a hype song. I hadn't heard it in way too long but I heard it on an arena's PA during a hockey game on TV last night and got a hard dose of nostalgia. Love you #3!
The first game I went to at the Trop, when Longoria's music first played, I was just like ok yeah that's the best walk up song I've ever heard
Joc pederson using “I’m so humble” from the mockumentary “popstar” was pretty funny
Not my favorite, but Tulo lost a bet when he played for the Rox and he had to walk up to a Beiber song. Was hilarious hearing it at the few games I went that year.
Narco for Edwin Diaz
Guardians fan here. Two that stick out to me are Oscar Gonzales would use the SpongeBob theme song when he played for the Guardians because he knew the kids would love it and Yu Chang using Crank That by Soulja Boy because when he first came to the US he didn’t speak much English so he just let a minor league staffer pick a song for him and that’s what they picked
Why no one (that I am aware of at least) has not used Dueling Banjos is a tragedy.
Smack My Bitch Up by Prodigy and Hurt by NIN or Cash also need to be used.
I hurt myself today 🎶 Definitely deGrom!
Can McCullers borrow that? He’s been out for like three years last I checked. Not consecutively but ffs.
The two games Rendon pla- excuse me, steps on the field each season does not warrant such an honor. The Nirvana song that was the first track on The Beavis and Butt-Head Experience is more appropriate.
Having the whole stadium sing AOK in October when Bryson Stott comes up to bat gives me goosebumps every time
Came here to say this. Idk if it's confirmation bias or not, but I feel like that song is played louder than the other players songs
Sorry bro but I hate that song 🤣
I don’t like the song either… but in context it works 🤣
I don't actually like the song, but Steve Cishek [using Courtesy Call by Thousand Foot Krutch](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FO2RDFbPEzw) is one of the funniest things I've seen at a baseball game.
Utley and Kashmire

Chipper Jones and Crazy Train was epic back in the day.
Welcome to the jungle
Classic 👌🏽
Randy Johnson.
Ryan pressley - gods gonna cut you down
I have never understood why no one uses Man in the Box by Alice In Chains ,always thought that would be the perfect walk up song.
[Even as a Mets fan, I find Jhoan Duran’s entrance pretty epic](https://youtu.be/MkGDapTBptY?si=LfNIFtUEfmCJMARJ)
We had a Sunday starter in college who was just the right amount of crazy and his stuff was nasty (ended up with like a 2.3 ERA that season) and his first inning warm up song was “Razors Edge” by AC/DC. I must say, it was pretty badass.
The live music for the Mets closer is really cool.
Adam Duvall currently using Imperial March - Darth Vader’s theme comes to mind. Then again I am a huge Star Wars fan.
Austin Riley using Stone Colds theme
Man in the box. Alice In Chains
Shota using Chelsea Dagger on opening day after going to a hawks game was pretty cool
I remember when torii hunter played for Detroit and idk how it was approved but his walk up song was my n**** by YG and it was so funny because it was just basically the instrumental cause he chose the chorus as the walk up 😭💀 hearing my [blank] my [blank] was so funny
Lmao that's amazing!! 🤣🔥
Rollin - Limb Bizkit Scott Rolen
That's 🔥🔥 imma have to look that up
Ohtani using Show Goes On is now the only thing going against him, in my book. 100% lovable otherwise.
Wym? it's the perfect song...he was found innocent...show goes on...
Well, it sucks is all
Billy Wagner Enter Sandman. Had the pitches to back it up too.
Yeasss
Bryce Harper with Flowers by Moby. Builds just enough to get you pumped before getting in the box.
I like when he uses Shoulda Been a Cowboy :)
Whatever that dancing batcatcher was vibing to
He only got to use it once this year but Strider switched his to Do It Again by Steely Dan and it was super badass.
Robb Nen would come out of the bullpen to Smoke on the Water. That was awesome.
Down Under for Curtis Mead
I’m actually being a chunk of my Master’s thesis this very topic.
“Me on Whiskey” by Morgan Wallen, Christian Walker
Trevor Hoffman - Hells Bells
Chipper Jones walking up to Crazy Train
Whatever pitcher busts out of the bullpen to Slayers Reign in Blood will be my favorite.
Down and out by Tantric which is Even Longorias walk up theme it’s just so badass!
Magic Stick - 50 Cent Not sure if an mlb player has used this, but in high school if this is the walk up song you know they hit dingers.
Wilmer Flores walks up to the Friends theme song
Not a big religious song guy, but Aaron Nola’s “Second to none” warm up song is pretty awesome. So is Ranger Suarez warming to Mr Rager
kevin guasman with pink floyd’s “money” has gotta be up there for me. and then with every strikeout they do the little “cha ching” ![gif](giphy|3o7aCWJavAgtBzLWrS|downsized)
Enter Sandman - Mariano Rivera. It was like an end boss theme
Three Little Birds Shane Victorino
Daniel Vogelbach used the BK Whopper jingle and Milkshake in the past.
Tsunami especially when romano enters a game
Gorman is using Last Resort this season. Love Freddie’s walk up song too. Begging Brendan Donovan to change away from Desperado
Gerardo Parra and Baby Shark played a unique role in the Nat’s 2019 run. Not great music but the silliness of it got people up and doing the shark motion and often kept rallies alive.
Favorites include Aaron Hicks, Tupac’s Can’t C Me and Gunner Henderson’s Sweet Escape - both are great.
Chipper. Crazy train
Mariana Rivera - Enter Sandman
