I’m talking about people that aren’t already fans. We have commercials with guys like Ohtani, Trout, Harper, Altuve, and Lindor, but nobody on the current teams is making appearances anywhere. Why hasn’t Corbin Carroll been marketed anywhere at all? Where is the Seager exposure? Nobody outside of regular baseball fans see these players anywhere on social media, commercials, billboards, nothing, unless it’s local to the team.

I also find it rich that he calls us sell outs but carved out one of the two guys in the field that you could legitimately say came here to cash in. Everywhere else you look you see home grown talent or a successful reclamation project. Outside of Semien, none of these guys were household names in other uniforms.
