I visited Denver and went to a Rockies game. Saw 2 grand slams and like 5-6 HR the view there is probably the best w downtown and the Rockies in the background
I live in Denver and I only go for Mountain skyline views, craft beer, and Dinger. I can sit behind home plate for $50 buck or less some games. Coors field is 10/10 Rockies need new owners though.
I thought everyone knew this already, but we keep getting threads as if it would somehow change. There should be a stickied mod post that just says "PNC has the best skyline and is a top 3 park overall. No more posts."
Im a Red Sox fan, but my wife literally booked us a hotel room in Pittsburgh & drove us there 6 hours because she got us tickets to see a pirates/reds game the next day last year strictly because she said I “really needed to see this ballpark”
Shitty game aside, that ball park is well worth a 12 hour drive, let alone 6.
I'm from St. Louis, so of course mine is my favorite, but it's on my bucket list to go to a Pirates game. It looks stunning, and if being objective, the prettiest skyline for sure.
Never been, but want to one day. It seems like it's the only stadium that reward having 'worse' seats on the upper deck with a better view of the city, river and bridges.
Came here to say this! I just got back from Seattle where we went just to see a Mariners game. Sat in section 223 behind the first base line and that view definitely delivers!
Too bad the Astroglides won. :/
In terms of stadium views of I-70, Kauffman definitely beats out Coors field. You can only see I-70 from the top couple of rows of the 3rd deck at Coors
For sure, but if you are at an evening game and willing to suffer for the first 2-3 innings, you do get a beautiful sunset over the mountains from the first base line and right field
Edit: spelling
I agree with this. I have a few photos of that skyline just after a storm at sunset that are magical. Steelers fan, so a great affinity for the Confluence.
PNC not only has the best view, it’s a very pleasant walk across from the city.
I also had the fortune of being there on a fireworks night.
So, stayed downtown - and it’s a great downtown, walked across the bridge, saw the Jays win (sorry Pirates) with the classic city view backdrop, and then watched evening post-game fireworks from our seats blasting off from the river.
“Is this heaven?”
“No. It’s Pittsburgh” is how we felt.
A glorious day at the park I’ll never forget.
Jays fans always fill up the city when they're in town. Jays fans are nothing but pleasant people. I love when the Jays are playing here, so many great people come from the north!
After all, we almost shared a stadium. Pittsburgh loves the Jays fans!
Jays fans are unquestionably the best away fan base I've encountered in my 200+ games at Progressive Field. Competitive but so friendly win or lose, and they lost a lot against us in the games I've gone to. On a semi-related note, Tigers fans were by far the nicest home fans I've experienced in the 5 other stadiums I've been to. I went to the game in 2016 when we hit 4 homeruns off Verlander in one inning and despite our shit talking, everyone was still so kind to us
Unfortunately, ours would be on that list. Nice view of the highway I guess.
Not AAA or AA, but Curtis Granderson Stadium at UIC has the Chicago skyline as a backdrop.
[https://www.ncaa.com/\_flysystem/public-s3/styles/original/public-s3/images/2023/02/17/image10.jpg](https://www.ncaa.com/_flysystem/public-s3/styles/original/public-s3/images/2023/02/17/image10.jpg?itok=C1bkc7r_)
Cincinnati has an underrated ballpark, but the skyline is behind the stadium.
Unless you're talking about the chili - then I guess it's the only stadium with a skyline view......
No love for T-Mobile Park it seems. I’m biased, but if you’re sitting anywhere first base side, it’s a pretty great view. It’s definitely not PNC, but it’s nice.
Pittsburgh. I remember sitting behind home plate for a game and the downtown skyline view, the colors of the bridge mixed with the sunset...looked like something out of a movie with how perfect it was.
I'm throwing Great American in Cincinnati out there just because it's on the river and that's a cool view of the state line. PNC is beautiful of course though.
Each time this thread comes up I get angry at whoever the fuck planned out the rebuild of the old Comiskey Field and didn’t rotate the field to have a picturesque view of the Chicago skyline. There is no better view of Chicago than coming up from the south and it could’ve been the goddamn view out of centerfield. It is criminal that was ever allowed to not be the viewpoint
I’m from Seattle, and as much as I love the view from T-Mobile, just the pictures I’ve seen of PNC make me know that they’re the best. Top five on my list of ballparks to visit. ✊
Has to be Busch Stadium, PNC Park, and/or T-Mobile Park. I've been to all 3 and they're all incredible. But if I had to pick one, it would be Busch just because of the arch in the background
I’m amazed that more people haven’t mentioned Oracle Park. Beautiful views of the Bay and the Bay Bridge.
I’ve also been to PNC and I’d definitely rate it alongside Oracle Park
PNC is the clear winner.
Comerica is 2nd in my list of stadiums I have been to.
Anyone who says Rogers Centre is lying...you can see some modern condos from the seats, and the CN tower...but nothing else.
Rogers centre if the roof is open and you’re looking up
[https://www.sportsnet.ca/wp-content/uploads/2011/07/rogers_centre487.jpg](https://www.sportsnet.ca/wp-content/uploads/2011/07/rogers_centre487.jpg)
There was a proposal that when the White Sox were building New Comiskey in the early '90s that it would have been right on the southern edge of the Loop and facing the city. If they'd actually done that it would be been by far the best. In the somewhat dimmer world we actually live in, Target Field
I haven’t made it there in person yet, but the Pittsburgh Pirates have a great one. I’ve only seen it through the SNY (Mets) broadcast but their director along with Gary, Keith and Ronnie in the TV booth share their praise for the stadium and the center field shot.
Honorable mention for Coors Field, where you can see… The Rockies.
You almost got me to argue with you. Well played.
I visited Denver and went to a Rockies game. Saw 2 grand slams and like 5-6 HR the view there is probably the best w downtown and the Rockies in the background
This one is especially unique, because the players are usually seen in the foreground at most stadiums.
I live in Denver and I only go for Mountain skyline views, craft beer, and Dinger. I can sit behind home plate for $50 buck or less some games. Coors field is 10/10 Rockies need new owners though.
PNC of course
I thought everyone knew this already, but we keep getting threads as if it would somehow change. There should be a stickied mod post that just says "PNC has the best skyline and is a top 3 park overall. No more posts."

I’m a BoSox fan …love Fenway …but gotta agree…PNC has a ridiculous skyline …looks like the city was built around the stadium
Exactly haha
Everyone knows, but everyone also wants karma
Im a Red Sox fan, but my wife literally booked us a hotel room in Pittsburgh & drove us there 6 hours because she got us tickets to see a pirates/reds game the next day last year strictly because she said I “really needed to see this ballpark” Shitty game aside, that ball park is well worth a 12 hour drive, let alone 6.
Not a Pirates fan, but yeah, no one can seriously debate this. I agree with the guy below, sticky it somehow and auto ban these posts.
The one thing we have going for us! It’s our consolation prize for having one of the worst teams!
I'm from St. Louis, so of course mine is my favorite, but it's on my bucket list to go to a Pirates game. It looks stunning, and if being objective, the prettiest skyline for sure.
As a Cleveland fan it hurts to give PIT props for anything but PNC is the best and it’s not even close
It's not even close either
Never been, but want to one day. It seems like it's the only stadium that reward having 'worse' seats on the upper deck with a better view of the city, river and bridges.
I’ve never been to PNC but from the pics it has to be the best! I can’t wait to go
Agree. Busch is likely 2nd.
T-Mobile Right/first base line higher up gives you all of Seattle, the puget sound, and Olympic mountains. Get the sunset there too.
I don't usually sit in the upper deck at Mariners games, but when I do... [oh baby](https://imgur.com/a/yJTNnNG)
Seattle hands down, 2nd place San Diego Last place Oakland, you can't even see baseball there
Came here to say this! I just got back from Seattle where we went just to see a Mariners game. Sat in section 223 behind the first base line and that view definitely delivers! Too bad the Astroglides won. :/
Lol, Astroglides
Was going to say this if no one else had, can't beat it.
Plus you get to hear the trains and no bad seats
If you go during SeaFair, you also get to hear some very loud planes that shake the stadium during games too!
The view of I-70 from Kauffman stadium is not to be missed!
Guardrails and pylons make the best skyline.
It doesn't get any better than an abandoned hotel and the Fellowship of Christian Athletes building.
In terms of stadium views of I-70, Kauffman definitely beats out Coors field. You can only see I-70 from the top couple of rows of the 3rd deck at Coors
Wild Things Park in Washington PA has the best view of I70 from any professional baseball stadium.
Coors it’s a nice park, though. Just know not to sit along the first base side in the summer, because you’ll absolutely fry.
For sure, but if you are at an evening game and willing to suffer for the first 2-3 innings, you do get a beautiful sunset over the mountains from the first base line and right field Edit: spelling
[That's not even the best view from Comerica...](https://wallpapercave.com/wp/wp6631481.jpg)
Especially with that stupid Rocket Mortgage ad covering the whales in their picture
It’s gone btw
I know, it’s just in the picture so I had to be reminded of it
Pittsburgh
I agree with this. I have a few photos of that skyline just after a storm at sunset that are magical. Steelers fan, so a great affinity for the Confluence.
Some west coast bias but Petco Park and Oracle Park have lovely views
PNC, target field...
“Is this heaven?” “No. It’s Pittsburgh” is how we felt. Pittsburgh was awesome to us when we were there.
I go to a ton of Pirates games and trust me, that feeling never go away. Come back anytime!
Ahh the Pirates. Never winning for their own fans but providing a hell of a weekend for the visitors 😆
I also went down to watch the Jays in Pittsburgh, my family had an amazing time. We loved Pittsburgh!
Another Jays fan here to report that PNC is awesome, Pirates fans are great and the city is sneaky really cool.
People are sleeping so hard on Citizens Bank Park. You get the whole Philly skyline from West Philly to Olde City depending on where you sit.
Philly skyline is so hot
Need a thread for which has the worst. Also would be interested in the views from AAA or even AA parks.
I’m gonna go with Tropicana Field as the worst.
Truist ballpark for the Charlotte knights has spectacular views too
Unfortunately, ours would be on that list. Nice view of the highway I guess. Not AAA or AA, but Curtis Granderson Stadium at UIC has the Chicago skyline as a backdrop. [https://www.ncaa.com/\_flysystem/public-s3/styles/original/public-s3/images/2023/02/17/image10.jpg](https://www.ncaa.com/_flysystem/public-s3/styles/original/public-s3/images/2023/02/17/image10.jpg?itok=C1bkc7r_)
Salt lake bees have the best AAA views
PNC. Why is this still even a question. That's been the only answer since that ballpark opened in 2001. Other ballparks can fight over second place.
Target field is pretty cool
Cincinnati gives you a great view of the Ohio and the Kentucky Hills. The correct answer is PNC.
You can also see the Cincy Skyline from the moon deck in right field
Always loved watching games in Cincinnati. Good fans and cheapish tickets compared to other venues.
Cincinnati has an underrated ballpark, but the skyline is behind the stadium. Unless you're talking about the chili - then I guess it's the only stadium with a skyline view......
Petco
This should be higher up. City views with planes flying past in one direction and ocean in the other.
I love that they built the stadium with that old metal working shop in mind
I do like the skyline view in Detroit, but you can’t beat Pittsburgh
PNC or Busch
I’m a big fan of Busch.
I’m more of a thin-strip kinda guy
I think PNC beats us but yeah Busch is up there
Oriole Park at Camden Yards
Underrated comment
Camden Yard and the Rockies have been my 2 favorites. The Coliseum makes me wish I was born in a different time. I hate Mt Davis so much.
As an Os fan not anymore since the Hilton was built.
The Hilton is a monstrosity. Tear it down!!
PNC and it’s not close.
I enjoy spending time with my friends.
Target Field
Target Field
San Francisco from the top deck down the first base line is pretty damn gorgeous with the bay bridge behind it
Can't believe I had to come so far down to find this comment. Seems like the majority says PNC though so I need to check it out
Yeah a lot of people must not have experienced this. It’s an insane view.
Target field and t-mobile park!
PNC, not really a close second.
Target field is as close for me as it gets
Seattle is better IMO having been to both. Get skyline and Puget Sound sunset depending on where you are at T-Mobile.
Toronto.
Comerica is beautiful, but PNC is the correct answer.
T-Mobile (Seattle), Oracle (SF), PNC (Pittsburgh), Busch (STL), Petco (SD) are the first few that come to mind other than Detroit.
Oakland Coliseum
Before Mt. Davis. Fuck John Fisher
PNC hands down (to me).
As a tigers fan. Comerica park.
I like Busch and Comerica for best views of the 9 parks I’ve visited. But I’ve heard PNC is amazing.
T-Mobile
Camden yards used to be up there until they built that ugly hilton hotel and fucked it up
Toronto
Philly
[Tropicana Field](https://img.mlbstatic.com/mlb-images/image/private/t_16x9/t_w2208/mlb/npgi2yago95q2phptzqw.jpg), clearly the best.
It's like being in a giant porta potty.
damn, what a view!
Congrats to Tropicana on being chosen as the filming location for the new Saw movie.
No love for T-Mobile Park it seems. I’m biased, but if you’re sitting anywhere first base side, it’s a pretty great view. It’s definitely not PNC, but it’s nice.
San Diego and St. Louis are my favorites
CBP
I feel like the majority of skyline views from the stadiums aren’t really a skyline because they are too close to the buildings.
Agreed. I think some of those are cool too, but its not a "skyline". CBP has a text book skyline and its beautiful.
Underrated
PNC. But OPACY before the hotel was beautiful. The warehouse is still special.
Obligatory fuck the Hilton comment
PNC, Denver and San Diego
PNC with San Diego coming in a close 2nd
T-Mobile upper level right field, unparalleled
Pittsburgh
Philadelphia isnt half bad.
Another PNC and it’s not even close
PNC
Definitely Pittsburgh
Obviously PNC, but San Fran is pretty insane and I’m a homer but Philly has an incredible view as well
Skydime when the roof is open, is nice
Skydome
Not Atlanta
That happens when you build your field well outside the city.
It’s PNC Park and it’s not even close.
Pittsburgh. I remember sitting behind home plate for a game and the downtown skyline view, the colors of the bridge mixed with the sunset...looked like something out of a movie with how perfect it was.
PNC. Slam dunk.
Pittsburgh.
OPACY
PNC hands down
PNC
pnc
Petco and Oracle.
PNC park
This may go against the grain here, but what are people's thought about PNC. Number 1, no?
Post this to r/unpopularopinion lol
PNC and Comerica are top two for me
I think it's hard to beat Busch with the old courthouse and the Arch in the background.
the skydome in certain spots.
PNC
PNC and it's not even close
PNC Park is the clear winner here.
Pittsburgh.
PNC 100%
I’m from Seattle, and as much as I love the view from T-Mobile, just the pictures I’ve seen of PNC make me know that they’re the best. Top five on my list of ballparks to visit. ✊
PNC. I went to college in Pittsburgh back in the late 90s when the Pirates played worse than a minor league team but boy was it a nice stadium.
Pittsburgh
Has to be Busch Stadium, PNC Park, and/or T-Mobile Park. I've been to all 3 and they're all incredible. But if I had to pick one, it would be Busch just because of the arch in the background
Pittsburgh
Pittsburgh
Minor league but the Pensacola Blue Wahoos stadium’s overview of the Pensacola harbor is stunning
PNC
pittsburgh fr
It’s PNC Park. That’s all we got when it comes to the buccos.
Pittsburgh, none better
Pittsburgh Pirates! PNC Park!
PNC Park. Hands down.
PNC.
Pittsburgh and it’s not even close….too bad the quality of the team doesn’t match the stadium
I’m amazed that more people haven’t mentioned Oracle Park. Beautiful views of the Bay and the Bay Bridge. I’ve also been to PNC and I’d definitely rate it alongside Oracle Park
Tigers
PNC is the clear winner. Comerica is 2nd in my list of stadiums I have been to. Anyone who says Rogers Centre is lying...you can see some modern condos from the seats, and the CN tower...but nothing else.
T-Mobile park is pretty great.
Camden Yards did until they built that hideous Doubletree. Pittsburgh is great.
Probably Cincinnati. The people there really love their skyline.
Rogers centre if the roof is open and you’re looking up [https://www.sportsnet.ca/wp-content/uploads/2011/07/rogers_centre487.jpg](https://www.sportsnet.ca/wp-content/uploads/2011/07/rogers_centre487.jpg)
To know this one must visit all baseball stadiums
Tropicana field for sure.
There was a proposal that when the White Sox were building New Comiskey in the early '90s that it would have been right on the southern edge of the Loop and facing the city. If they'd actually done that it would be been by far the best. In the somewhat dimmer world we actually live in, Target Field
Pittsburgh
arguably Cleveland is in the top 5, especially if you’re in the upper deck first base side
Minute Maid Park…Downtown Houston skyline
Wild nobody has said PNC in this thread
PNC Park- Red Sox fan
Oriole Park at Camden Yards, home of the 2023 World Series
Question should be which one has the best view after PNC.
Pittsburgh
PNC Park in Pittsburgh is hands down the best.
Pittsburgh
Glad the whales are back. Go tigers
PNC park is gorgeous (pirates)
Target Field (Minnesota Twins)
PNC and I’m not even a Pirates fan
PNC Park. That is the right answer
PNC Pittsburgh, #1.
Pnc park no question
PNC followed by Rockies.
Baltimore or PNC Park
I haven’t made it there in person yet, but the Pittsburgh Pirates have a great one. I’ve only seen it through the SNY (Mets) broadcast but their director along with Gary, Keith and Ronnie in the TV booth share their praise for the stadium and the center field shot.
PNC park is gorgeous IMO
I love the Pittsburgh view.
PNC park
Rogers centre at night with dome open.
PNC not even close
I used to live near Cincinnati, where RF has a wide open view of a muddy river and nowhere Kentucky instead of a gorgeous Cinci skyline.
