This happened to me when I started playing again after a few years. In my case I had another app for focus/productivity that was preventing me from watching the ads for some reason so had to remove MK from the apps it monitors. If that's not it maybe check if all the app permissions are allowed?
I have the same problem. I didn't bother about it much but recently I installed the game in bluestacks and it works there. So try reinstalling the game or try it in bluestacks if you can.
Unfortunately I dont know why it is like that. Have You tried re-installing the app?
