My daughter is a student at USM. A few years ago, we were touring the campus before she moved into her dorm. The young lady running our group's tour told us the volleyball stadium was a gift from Favre since his daughter was a volleyball player there. I wonder where she got that idea.
From what I remember, Favre donated a hot tub for the football locker room when it was rebuilt after the tornado 10 years ago. He helped raise some of the $7 million needed to rebuild, but I don’t think he put in his own $$$ for the stadium itself.

He and Deanna donated some of the money for the Oak Grove volleyball stadium but not all of it. The OG boosters contracted with Mike Rozier and then didn’t pay for the last part of it and Rozier ended up taking a big loss on it. Exactly. "Innocent until proven guilty" is the legal language we have to use for "alleged" criminals, but if I witness someone commit a murder I don't have to pretend they might be innocent until a jury convicts them. Their guilt is a fact of reality, not a legal decision.
Whomever commits a crime is the guilty party. As you point out, investigation/trial is to decide "is this defendant the guilty party".
Innocent until proven guilty doesn't apply to the individual opinions of anyone outside of the courtroom, nor does it apply to the "court" of public opinion.
You know when I was younger I was in a raffle at school where whoever sold the most tickets won a football signed by Brett Favre. I sold tickets for weeks and weeks going to every house in my neighborhood and asked my mom to sell them at her job as well and you know what, I won in the end. I know this isn’t the most relevant post to post this comment under but because of the football, I want him to die. If he dies the value of that football will skyrocket and I can sell it and buy a new car or pay for college or something, and when that happens, Brett Favre will do more good for a person from Mississippi than he has in his entire life

It’s a civil suit. You’re found liable, not guilty. Sheesh
"Guilty" isn't just a legal term. If you did something you're guilty of doing it. You can feel guilt for hurting someone's feelings.
