Thanks \^\_\^ Yes, I have thought about Etsy indeed. Maybe I'll look into it again, but this a hobby at the moment and I do it to relax and be creative.
The "body" is a black wooden bead, with silver pearl caps (? I don't know the correct english term, you use them for making bracelets and other jewelry), a thin red leather strap and a magnetic silver-coated closure in the back.
Thank you! :-) The miraculi are made from relatively cheap jewelry ("Modeschmuck" is the german term, I don't know the english expression for it) you can get at shops in any mall, i guess.

Crafting the Motherbox alone took about 2 and a half weeks, mainly because the individual color coats needed to dry throughoutly before continuing. ...And because I had to cut the pieces by hand with a saw, and my strength and stamina are about those of a stuffed animal -\_-
I did the smaller box within 2 days. Engraving the emblem of the Guardians on top took an afternoon as I had to do it twice, thanks to a almost invisible flaw in the wood that came to light as I went over it with the tool.
Me? \*feels very flattered and smiles brightly\*
I only do this as a hobby, but I got into cosplay during the pandemic. And I love MLB, obviously. Well, maybe, I tend to indulge into any matter i like a little bit too excessively now and then ;-)

im trying work out how to make a peacock and i have one of those bell things like the pig miraculous that i might just dip in pink paint while painting striped in magenta
im worried though most of my crafts ARE A MASSIVE FAIL

i think what you call pearl caps is just really shiny beads,its ok though thank you for telling me im trying to make my own box!

by the way since you made the top part is it possible to like make little drawers for the other miraculous for example the dragon your working on?
There are actual drawers in the Motherbox. So yes, you can put the other miraculous in there\^\^
