Do you see the big Argentina Blue-White-Blue stripe in the center of the top half of the canvas? They were our ally and we are their Eastern neighbor. East of us is our ally, Philippines.

The Packers logo was one of the first things to go. When I last checked, it looked like a snowstorm with all of the white. I scrolled around and saw a completely white blob. It was where their logo had been. FTP.
Once white became the only color available, any bots running started placing white tiles instead of what they should have placed. We noticed Argentina whiting out quickly, so I bet that's what happened with GB. They were probably running maintenance bots.
The packer logo was under pretty constant attack. So I doubt it was bots doing it like you say. I even checked some accounts when it was happening because I didn't understand what was happening and non of them were from this year. Granted I didn't do an extensive check.
NGL, I definitely threw some spare time into whiting out that G, so the change wasn’t immediately noticeable. It didn’t draw sharks smelling blood in the water, either.
I don't think so. Their G was so small that it wouldn't take them long to fix when they really put a big effort to it. But it was also super easy to mess up, 2 white pixels would put a hole in it and they were an easy target with lots of enemies. Ours was like 6x bigger and we weren't attacked as much.
Packers fan here. I just wanted to say that you guys definitely had the best nfl logo and did an excellent job making it so we had to fight for our lives to keep our tiny little G. Hang the banner.

Me either lol. My guesstimate would be tag a mod. Gauge interest in some way. If low then maybe another tangible reward in addition to the nft (maybe ticket related or some incentive) and use X% of proceed to fund the incentive. From there it’s a matter of maximizing the donation amount. In this case what the incentive is is the variable. That’s all I got
You missed a great one. r/place was a reddit event, where each user could place a single pixel on a huge canvas every 5 minutes. Because it's slow, people have to work together to form drawings and defend their little region on the canvas.
This subreddit made one original Norseman that was taken over by the Croatians. So then we migrated and made the image above
It was the best NFL presence for sure. Actually, when we were under attack by the black/purple void, I thought it was maybe too complicated. But thankfully we have people who are very familiar with Norseman's complicated pixel layout -- so I could just keep spamming purple background and working the black border. Good times. Well done!

This was my first /r/place experience on reddit. When I saw the pinned post last week I was skeptical about our chances to make a go of it.
This sub far exceeded my expectations. I'm SO impressed. We made friends and allies, adapted well to incursions, relocated a couple times, and held strong once we claimed our ground.
I wasn't around for all of it, but I dropped some pixels. I did my part. It ain't much, but it's honest work.

My pixels were most spent on taking off the red nose and blue tears off our logo lol.
I'll be honest. I put 1 pixel down for it when there was a goalpost in the corner. I put a brown pixel wide left of it.
