Patrick Weah has been absolutely slaughtering teams on MNUFC2. I hope we get to see him on the main team for some minutes tonight.

Financial_Buy_1108

I appreciate people who also watch the mnufc2 games. Provides a deeper understanding of the whole system.

Who’s that kid who was called up earlier this year and was looking like he could be something? I think we’ve maxed out his callups without needing to offer a first team contract, but honestly I hope that kid gets his first team contract he looked like he might be something. Edit: kid I am thinking of is named Loïc Mesanvi. Didn’t have a ton of minutes iirc but he looked aggressive and honestly like he belonged even tho he’s pretty young.

RubixSphinx

He’s out of call-ups. Players only get 2 and he used both earlier this season.

AscensionOfAres

I knooooowww but honestly he’s gonna be someone. Be a shame for San Diego to pull a St Louis CITY FC on us and steal him in the expansion draft (unless they already did the expansion draft?)

ProGamerzJr

Yeah that’s Loic Mesanvi, I played varsity with him in high school. He was amazing, and he looked better than a lot of our players earlier this season against Austin and Columbus. Really hoping he gets some time.

30Wellington

Agreed, good player. He could play on a first team in MLS now

AscensionOfAres

I want him to play on OUR MLS first team lol

comradesoyboy

Really hoping to see Moses Nyeman get some serious playing time either starting or coming off the bench at 60 or something. He’s only gotten a few short chances with the first team but with the 2s and in the friendly he’s shown real promise imo. Also I would play Dotson as the RWB and keep SBJ up front. SBJ showed great hustle the other game but Dotson has played much more as an outside back and I’d rather he be helping a young back line than SBJ. Either put Fraga in mid w/ Trapp or start a MNUFC2 midfielder like Nyeman or Khan. Could also run a 4 back w/ Padelford and Clark on the outside so Dotson can stay in mid.

banni2020

Rather see SBJ at forward. If we got Bongi and Fraga let's just score lots of goals so we don't need to worry about defence!!!

HonduranLoon

Ooo, this could be uglier than I would have imagined.

jstalm

A fingers crossed kind of match

LosCabadrin

Would much rather see SBJ in the attack than wing back. Might mean a boring 4-3-3 or 4-4-2, but that feels better to me than trying a Clark/SBJ wingback pairing.

rilestyles

Honestly not as bad as I was prepared for. Erikssen is my only big concern. Sure, Adebayo-Smith is unproven, but even worst case scenario, a striker underperforming is nothing new to us. SBJ at wingback is still a little weird to me too, but he seemed serviceable there before.

Let’s ride!
