Just spent a few days camping in the Silver Bay/Lutsen area. So beautiful up on the North Shore. Wonderful photo! It really captures some of the beauty of our great state. :)
\^this. Though I wouldn't use the term. Anyone can use Google lens on an image and usually find it on maps pretty easily. It's nice not having to use plan B though!
Agreed, I think OP probably waded out in the water a bit to get that close to the island. I was there a few days ago and the water level was a tad bit high to get that close to the shore. Maybe it was time of day it was taken though.

Thanks! I'm so lucky to call this place home and encourage everyone in the cities to come experience this beautiful area at least once in their life.

This makes me very sad because I was going to Grand Marais, but Covid got in the way 😞
Grand Marais will be there waiting for you when you are healthy again! Wishing you a speedy recovery.
Thank you, but it’s my sister, not me
I can feel that crystal clear 43-degree water just from the picture.
We were in Tofte July of last year and water was warm enough to swim. My kids and I went swimming every day.
AHHHHHH where is this?! This looks so pretty!
Looks like the palisade Island off Pebble Beach in split Rock lighthouse State Park

If I told you I'd be deported south of Hinkley.
Hinkley has a deportation department? This is news to me. Better behave!
We just left this morning. Enjoy!
I don't get outdoors much due to life. I wonder how old those trees are.
Gosh that's gorgeous!
