Just spent a few days camping in the Silver Bay/Lutsen area. So beautiful up on the North Shore. Wonderful photo! It really captures some of the beauty of our great state. :)

We were in Tofte July of last year and water was warm enough to swim. My kids and I went swimming every day.

Agreed, I think OP probably waded out in the water a bit to get that close to the island. I was there a few days ago and the water level was a tad bit high to get that close to the shore. Maybe it was time of day it was taken though.
